Mole - Vodafone Group annual free cash flow for 2023 was $12.395B (Dollars)
Yawn, the usual gutter tripe. And always wrong!!! Hahaha
It's going down heavily now, prepare to bail out, below 70p by Friday.
Correction, actual FCF does not cover the div, from their own figures.
Real FCF was €1.4bn in 23, and the div was €2.4bn.
The figure they quote is adjusted FCF, where things like spectrum payment are added back in, but they still have to pay them. Look away look away.
The shortfall is currently being funded by selling off assets. There is no growth in the assets base, or even FCF here, hence the apparent low sp, which is actually a bit high. Unless they can prove a strategy for growth in future cash flows.
Sticking prices up is not it.
From little acorns, nutters appear.
Sorry, I meant from little acorns vodafone moves up a gear.
Strong buy. Let this share price go high.
A rhyme for the day. Any other offerings?
All the best, except the pests.
Let’s try to get back to some sanity on here please, simply filter out those posters that annoy you.
Trading update - received well so a nice rise yesterday, forgive me for stating the obvious. The market obviously likes the revenue increase, good UK & Africa results etc. Once the dust settles the market won’t like that overseas revenue continues to decline, particularly Italy & Germany so expect a re-trace in the immediate future.
Free cash flow before yesterday covered the dividend so this is now more secure & at about 10.5% yield as we stand today it is a good share for divi collectors. I’ve said for some time that VOD just needs to be thought of as a utility paying share, even more so now I humbly suggest.
I shall be buying back soon (sold £20k last year at av £1.36) as at my time of life I’m a divi collector. Good luck to all old & new holders.
Parabolic price curve, commencing with bear, pivots, and finishing with two bullish price pivots. Price resistance is to none expected at old higher price bottom at 84. There is a descending bearish trendline just below 90, which could pose, resistance. Upper Bollinger band is rising in both weekly and daily charts, so bullish. Positive divergence on Macd() and RSI, which is bullish.
Hi MPO818
"Over 20 of todays 51 posts are in green - Thats because I put all (if I got them all) the sad posters who pride themselves in predicting the closing price of VOD every week of the year - what a sad bunch they are."
That's potentially libellous as I have absolutely no pride whatsoever!
All the best :-)
Dan
Why does it bother you You are the sad one mate. Many on here enjoy predicting the sp, so what is your problem.
Over 20 of todays 51 posts are in green - Thats because I put all (if I got them all) the sad posters who pride themselves in predicting the closing price of VOD every week of the year - what a sad bunch they are.
The markets (on both sides of the pond) have responded well to Q1 numbers, looking forward to the next divi cheque in a weeks or so and further gains as the turnaround gathers pace.
* Overall accretive trend for Service Revenues
Correction. Sorry, I don't agree that you should have to be invested in vod to comment on here.
MDV knows exactly where the business is, the momentum and the uptick. It was her job 5 years ago to make VOD simpler. She is executing now with a huge reserve in her back pocket of €155Bn of assets to optimise the outcome. She understands the incremental benefits of digitalisation and the business segments (Business) that can execute against the VOD technology portfolio and customers. She has brought Luka in from SAP knowing the model required to financially operationalise the glide path and navigate regulatory and statutory protocols.
This is is the start of the recovery and I am staying in.

mrlong. 100% agree. the moderators on here are a joke. they are more interested in deleting words like ****tail (a drink) ****** (food) ****ging (criticising) ****nal (a football team) & of course mentally ******ed.(some on here) i have tried too get the(weirdo) banned for ages. if you pander to morons, eventually we all end up morons.
They should just be banned. LSE need a system to prove your invested to comment. This pair of clowns get too much airtime and they obviously have a round of drinks invested at best. For those trying to share thoughts and constructive comments, it’s painful. Almost as annoying as a non tax payer getting a vote!
Mole_man. I hope you keep posting on here, because you seem to be the only sane, negative poster left. Of course us dedicated vod shareholders want possitive views, but we also need a balanced view, which you contribute to in an intelligent way. I realise you don't want to get too involved with some of the negative, idiots (insane even) on here, but you would be far more credible if you did. Good luck though with your investments.
GutterSnipe. Losing £15.600 on a stock may be a lot to someone who is living in the gutter like you, but for most serious investors it is peanuts. One day perhaps you will get it. Losing money is far better than losing your sanity, which clearly you have. Good luck though with that one. What is the charity that supports idiots like you, perhaps I should donate?
'they just need sectioning'
my shrink says you are probably suffering from depression and anxiety due to the SP going up.
Guess how much desperate Dan has lost.
I'm going for £15,600.
Extremely immature
Vod has a one in five or even ten up day and they think they’re winning
And for the ones who want the sp to be as low as possible for the divi reinvestment well, they just need sectioning
Very childish ones on here.
I hate to think 🤔 how much money they has lost.
Desperate Dan always very angry.
Definitely down 5 figures 😊☺️😁
These losers on here not just miserable but also very childish.
No wonder they has lost so much money.
I’ve only just put jax in a one bed flat, do I have to move him into a tree now 😩
Since my purchase at under 72p last month - hopefully the start of an upward trend into a triple digit share price.
Jax & Gutter sitting in a tree. one's a weirdo, the other's loopee.
