Fair play if you’re trading it on the highs and lows. I always time it wrong so I’m reluctant to have a go. Good luck.
looks good for trading. Up and down up and down. Why not?
I hope they are Ilovesushi!! Seems like it’s being manipulated at the moment. Very frustrating. Thought this would be well on its way to £1.50 by now.
buyers are back....
Tight spread and desperately trying to break the £1.10 again.
Decent RNS this morning. Good read across from tiles to plumbing purchases.
Slow and steady is the way.
climbing very nicely now
well done to those that bought the dip. Up from here. Expect further strong gains..
Yes please! Frustrating.
Bought the dip! Can we change direction now please?
MM’s are just tanking the share price on very little volume!! It’s looking more and more like someone’s trying to get in on the cheap. Think I’ll hold on for either another big purchase or a takeover bid.
BUY THE DIP
Agree-loads of unspent cash that would otherwise have gone on o/s hols and eating out/entertaining etc now in many people's bank accounts-thought I saw the figure in trillions over the w/e in the papers but thought that might be a bit OTT.
Anyway -the papers are also full of news about supply chain and labour shortage delays for those wanting to up-grade bathrooms and kitchens.
Regard the drop as a top up opportunity.
I mentioned a few days ago about customs delays on imported stuff-seems I was on the money for once?
Wants a new bathrooms. So do I. The only people who don’t want new bathrooms, are the people with new bathrooms. Well, plus the people who don’t care about their bathrooms, and I don’t care about them.
Working families have more money now, working from home, so no transport cost, less spending on entertainment and holidays, so I foresee vast spending on home improvements, including bathrooms. It may not be crypto crazy or exploration excitement, but it is predictably profitable.
The earnings are there to prove it, so this is a steady, reliable winner, backed by family investment. That balances my pf nicely.
This has not played out as I hoped it would just shy of a month ago. I think the market in general is on a downer at the moment this could be playing is part, people have funds tied up elsewhere potentially. Nothing materialistically suggests the SP should be in this range, was expecting it back above 130+
No idea what’s going on at the moment. Seems like it’s being pulled back every time there’s an increase. Whether that means that a big order is being worked? Who knows. I’m currently sitting on my hands and waiting it out.
any reason for the pull back the last few days.... seems out of favour again....B
Yes indeed, the Radcliffes are well aligned with us shareholders. I am more confident in this shares than I am with several others in my portfolio.
Making a more general comment about the prospects of equity investing in a world of high debt and rising rates, there'll be few if any instant wins and patience will be ever more of a virtue.
Well, 3.5m shares bought by the Radcliffes and 50k by the chairman, all in December, gives me all the confidence I need. Plus, from last results, it looks like VIC is in a strong position to benefit from supply chain profits.
Let’s go back up to £1.20 now.
“ The adaptability of our supply chain and investment in-stock inventory means we are currently operating from a position of strength relative to others. Given the popularity of our own brand offering, we are able to absorb most of the current supply chain pressures.”
Agreed, this is a bit bouncy the last few trading days.... I originally I bought at 99p and sold yesterday at £1.17 [just a feeling].... Not sure why, but I bought back in before at £1.09.... hope this stabilises and continues its upward trajectory..... B
There are issues around supply chain and costs relating to that have risen four fold. I’ve just checked B&Q owner who would also be affected by similar issues bi they are currently 2% up today?? I’ll be sitting on my hands for a while longer to see how this plays out.
Just wondering-are some/many of their products imported-in which case cd be recent tightening up of nonsense customs paperwork with jobworths at point of entry causing delays.
just a random thought.
Did spot VIC TV ad featuring LL Bowen just around Xmas/NY.
It does look like an engineered drop for whatever reason??
Walk back up now?
