Good point Kawasaki .. I think the only hope if Labour gains power is with the Unions - they are already putting pressure on Starmer / Miliband etc. to ‘get real’ and reverse or at least temper some of their anti-oil & gas policies. Particularly in respect of job losses, Aberdeen, energy security - I’m not sure it’ll make a difference, but the Unions are up for a fight, there’s a lot of politics at play.
Kawasaki, I think i misinterpreted your post. Sorry 😬
Kawasaki, I believe the move into the US was on the back of the situation evolving in the UK. THAT is where they will get the revenue from and I do think present operations in the UK will continue, just no new ones.
Without the oil and gas industry which the government is claiming millions from in taxes. When all this is phased out in the uk where will they get all this revenue from.
I bought another little bundle today, so confident for 2024.

Who thinks the Andrews1 well will be a commercial discovery and produce the expected 150 bopd? Production testing must be nearly complete and an RNS due soon. We could get news on the gas being produced too as the gas recovered to surface will be sold into the local network. Can't wait to hear what's going to be revealed from this first well in the US 💪
Is from you Funstar. You contribute nothing but uour silly comments that I am someone else. It wouldn't matter if I was Warren Buffer posting here, I am invested, I declared my trade last week, just because I am confident in my investment and say as much does not make a ramper. A trader ramps, I won't trade this, I believe in the management and the assets, simples. Please just go away and leave me alone.
Maybe?
No holding ever but a terrible state of affairs.

"Farm-out Process
The feedback from Deltic's Pensacola farm-out process has indicated that the continual tinkering with the Energy Profits Levy and resultant fiscal uncertainty created by the current government, along with recent rhetoric emanating from the Labour Party, have had a severely negative effect on the ability of UK Exploration and Production (E&P) companies to commit to long term investments in the North Sea. This has resulted in many operators diverting capital away from the UKCS or delaying investment decisions, especially with respect to new large-scale opportunities like Pensacola.
Against this hostile political environment, and despite the Company's best efforts, Deltic have not yet been able to secure a farm-out partner for Pensacola and although there are a number of live discussions with respect to a way forward on Pensacola, there is a risk that a farm-out may not be secured before the end of May 2024. We remain of the view that Pensacola represents an excellent value-driven opportunity for the right partner and would be willing to engage with any additional potential partners. "

In the same format as a well know ramper…… remind you of anyone?
New PI’s need to be very wary of following the dross from these accounts….. my advice is ignore the noise and focus on facts, which many posters on here ignore and pump their own agendas….. u destined TAC/ CJ/ CT / CT5
I've got feelings of impending doom! hope I'm wrong!!!
I’m old 74 been here since 2019 and I would uphold that stance.
Your not sorry at all, I have seen your previous comments to me x
Sorry if I misjudge your character and call you out if I am wrong, but are you a representative of the company?
For news so far, whilst the share price hasn't followed suit, with what is expected for the remainder of 2024 along with the unexpected, it does promise to be a major recovery play. All very well moaning now but if some people took their blinkers off and examined the true potential here long term, they would see that everything is falling into place for Union Jack to he something special in comparison to its peer companies. I know it's easy to say patience, some have obviously exercised more than their fair share, but in fairness, the company has never been in the position it is on now and has had to raise money year on year to survive. It is now advancing into new territories, has recognised there is little future right now in the UK and rather than sit still, has made what I believe is the best decision they could have. Not Africa, Afghanistan or any other high risk region, but the super safe, oil loving United States.

methinks 30th June not May
Please do not forget that the company many bought in to is called 'Union Jack Oil' an if it was not for Wressle this company would be nothing.
Maybe time to rebrand the company if you believe the US is so great but as soon as that RNS lands for funding of West Newton , potentially the biggest gas find in the UK in years, all interest will be on mobilisation an the gas that will one day potentially be feedstock for blue hydrogen at Keadby an H2H. No nodding donkeys there.
There's absolutely no doubt that David is taking the bull by the horns with this entry into the United States. Every day something is seen in the press about the need for the end of fossil fuels. People who call for this are really deluded if they think this is something that could be achieved by any 'date' set by governments. We are already seeing the fall in demand for EV's due to the cost of keeping them on the road, the lack of charging facilities, the incredible insurance costs being levied, the poor resale value, there's nothin about the green view that is achievable with the technology available now or that will be available in the near future. Fossil fuels are here to stay!
30th May Reabold Annual Accounts due
Bring it on !
CT5 - the drill was classed as a major success….. the well hasn’t been fully tested so no flow rates available yet, so the well is not a success… yet
Malcolm to you all.
I have every confidence that West Newton will be drilled an David also spoke with confidence about it. Maybe he should not have gloated either ?!
In brings me back to the embarrassment of riches David also was proud to speak about in previous interviews.
Were those embarrassment of riches regarding his salary as the share price under performed over the last year an more.
Time to share your war chest with shareholders now David an not insult us with below par dividends ! Union Jack Oil has much to prove in line with Reabold as chipmunk stated
Reabold seem to have lost most of their gains over the last few days, if I was in there I would have taken some profit I think as until West Newton mobilisation is announced there remains little positive sentiment. This is why I would never gloat or tell everyone how well I was doing as things can change so rapidly. Few oilers in the UK are doing well at the moment, so happy to be invested here 🙂
Could easily pay for an additional well in Oklahoma every 6-8 weeks. It's not out of the question to potentially have half a dozen wells by year end all producing oil AND gas. By that stage there would be millions rolling in and the world becoming Union Jack's oyster. Surely not as far fetched as some may think and certainly achievable both operationally and financially.
Secondly cancel the shares in treasury.
Start doing some live online investor meets every quarter so as shareholders can speak to you direct an not just the X account. Some complain they are blocked anyway an you can not even reply to the account at selective times.
