So, what you are saying then, nap, is that if it takes until September to conclude negotiations about JVs it would be perfectly acceptable to suppress news about licences granted in April until then?
Doesnt matter if you buy that or not, they can do that
"Postman has to deliver the signed hard copy".
Hope it's not the British Royal Mail, then. You've all seen the stories in the tabloids... "Just received a birthday card posted in 1936" :):)
It isn’t unreasonable to think that UFO knew about permissions before that was released. Not seen anything yet tbh
Postman has to deliver the signed hard copy.
With the time difference and post cycle expect after hours RNS or first thing on Monday.
Great minds.... :)
@MyIPA
I did post exactly that at 06:55 this morning
It does but the actual time span is undefined so a few days can be used - if not Friday then Monday imo
Sorry, nap, I don't buy the argument that they can't issue an RNS about licences while they're negotiating JVs.
By extension of that argument you could say that they only need to issue a bumper RNS every 31st December, bundling up all the news from the previous 12 months.
They can say its sensitive to negotiations
AIM Rule 11 requires notification without delay of any new developments which are not public knowledge which, if made public, would cause a significant movement in its share price.
As far as I know, even if they where discussing a JV then it matters not. The granting of a mining license needs too be reported.
Napyh
That would be a very weak arguement.
Permission is not dependant on a joint venture. It stands alone as a materialy impacting SP news
Devil i am expecting this to have a stead rise to .51
CJ they dont if they are in discussion regarding JV's
That's is of course if anybody is actually checking the emails.
As we all know, the new management team has never been appointed. Is this the actual reason for the lack of a RNS. Who's knows what's going on.
Someone said they've known for 2 weeks about being granted the license and that they are finalising a JV. I think the license plus JV will be a big thing because it means the financing has been sorted as well which is usually what stops any rise
CJ, and who exactly is at UFO hq? I think we established that the cleaner is finished by 8a.m so just the bucket and mop there now..
You are correcy UJ
My email should ring some alarm bells at UFO HQ. They have a duty to report.
Of course it's in the public demain and is most definately price sensitive information. Hard too explain why there is no RNS.
Naph, what reaction are you expecting on Mining Lease RNS?
A week or so but this is better news so this is the calm before the storm. I bet all stop losses are off so they cant activate them so they are stuck at what to do
After it was disclosed we had the native title agreement, how long did it take for the share to get above 0.3p?
Some wag on Telegram suggested they release the news via Fun Fact Friday. Very good.
Mine was as well stevie, wont matter when its .60 - 1p
