Positive move new iron ore company developing a project in West Australia
Eliz hill silver results due in a few week - may surprise on upside if there is also base metals shell around the core
Munni Munni deposit - now a strategic asset 30% share of 2m oz PGM palladium / platinum under pins the company
Huge land holding - does it hold more potential - clearly a lot of upside 200km2 around EH and Munni Munni - hasn’t been properly examined for 25 years plus!
No news, regardless of new company they should have been working towards getting the iron out of the ground as quickly as possible. This isn't Mexico news, or EH update. Only going down today.
polinvest no game changing news this unfortunately, its not a rns saying we have been granted the mining license, or we have a jv with rio, that is game changing news
little spike and retrace, no real meat on the bones, my mate dave is filling in the paper work to get the mining licenses basically in a sarcastic voice. But this is another step forward, but an expected one
This is fantastic. Really exciting. Confirms solid belief in the extent and value of our iron ore projects in Oz and a milestone for the company. It’s wholly owned so no worries for the share holders. I still believe Bill plans to get going solo, with an ‘open mind’ to offers should they come. Bloody exciting. All the right conversations are now happening re offtake and logistics which is really encouraging. Those things, when finalised, are what move us up the line. A dedicated team in Perth pushing it all forward. Sit tight folks. 22 going to be one hell of a ride.
Don’t know if it will affect the SP today or not. It is positive news but we might still be in the post-placing churn phase where the merits of the company play second fiddle to the burning desire of the placees to exit at a loss rather than holding for medium and long term gains…
Game changer news. Back to 1p today possible.
Great news, but my transfer is not going to happen in time . . .
So long as it positively affects the SP then fine, but it’s been a rough 12 months for sure!
IMO they are setting up the Hamersley project for an IPO or packaging it for a JV with a major, after they have got Hanc0ck "shovel ready".
Great move.
This makes no difference to shareholders in terms of ownership or economics. All that has happened is that UFO has put the iron ore projects into a dedicated subsidiary. It’s sensible project management and risk management where you have several quite different projects. And should speed things up in that (for example) it’s much easier and quicker for future contracting counter parties to do due diligence on a new and self contained company. Good move for sure
could be good news if it speeds production and revenue up! but till then just more mouths to feed.
Wow, first a link to the RNS and then a literal copy-paste from the same RNS. Thanks for sharing all that!
I,m in the same frame of mind BB. how does this work out for shareholders?
“As part of the Company’s commitment to fast track the iron ore projects, we have created a dedicated
company, Iron Ore Company of Australia Pty Ltd (IOCA). With the third phase of drilling at Han****
started and our Country Manager, Lloyd Edmunds, continuing drive on the permitting and
development aspects, we are very pleased with the progress and continue to push Han**** to be
‘shovel ready’ as soon as possible. We remain extremely confident about the prospects for our iron ore
projects and look forward to updating the market as we go.”
doing my dd for a bit of stake here can anyone who's been in a while elucidate an opinion on current state and significance of rns?
Not quite what we was expecting. Is this a precursor to sell the DSO? Also I’m not sure how the markets will react to this? I’m in two minds for sure.
