Why not submit your knowledge and concerns to the D&C EA Consultation ? I've provided you a link. The EA want input specifically about whether the correct process is being adopted. Follow the link, submit your evidence and see where that leads. If your concerns are valid and the alternative process you've suggested is more environmentally friendly and cheaper to run and produces higher concentrate yields you'll be applauded for your actions from all quarters. you clearly want to be heard, now is your chance. ATB.
Your question is all answered in the TWL annoucement today and they need more time to revise their present plan and hopefully that will include some laboratory testing of the alternative route ( lower Capex and Opex ) which goes back to the fundament error of WOLF MINERAlS who designed the primary process without taking into account the paramagnetic properties of the mineral which is Ferberite …surely my CSM colleagues must see that as well
Now they have the time and the money to do the testing…. What is stopping them ?

I was told this the other day.
Now keep in mind that this is a company with hardly any money and has laid off most of its workers.
They have recently created a new role for a security manager, they've never needed one before. So they've found an extra 40k a year for this role. The job was never advertised, it was given to the husband of the woman who is the personal assistant to the CEO as he was unemployed.

Ian - theyve commenced the 6 wk consultation period, and it proposes that...

Great news from Nyobolt.

Strangely quiet on the public consultation also.
Its been 6 weeks since the draft permit and the company announcing they needed an internal review on the requirements...any word on what they've been doing last 6 weeks?
How many operational requirements could their have been, this is the EA we're talking about - I can't imagine they were too technical in their decision..!
1) in late 2018 it was discovered that the WO3 mineral at Hemerdon was Ferberite and not Wolframite and that WOLF MINERALS has designed the mineral process plant for the wrong Mineral !
2) in 2019 tests were run at the renowned OUTOTEC research centre in Frankfurt Germany) and this work was paid for by the new owners of TWL , The results were excellent ( report available )and paved the way for changes to the circuit configuration to have a low cost operation at high recovery
3) The technical team of TWL opted to ignore the results and choose to try to repair the existing dense medium plant ( 5 years later not much done and requires Capex to move forward )
4) in the new circuit the dense medium plant is not required and the saving in Capex ad Opex is huge .... who every heard of a dense medium circuit for a paramagnetic mineral ( such as Ferberite)
5) The circuit can be modified and many parts are on site already
6) The tin circuit is already in place and needs no modification
7) if anyone is interested to know more details, please contact me
8) the present circuit is clumsy and will result in high operating costs and it is so essential to work in the lower operating cost in a world of heavy competition
9) is there any body out there prepared to restart a laboratory testwork in a British laboratory( or anywhere else ? ) with a total expenditure of GBP 25000,00 in laboratory expenses ? Simplicity is the route to Success

Hard to believe this company will survive. They need to raise a massive amount of cash to take this into production. Who in their right mind would chuck any more cash at this. The management here are useless, just paying themselves a good wage until it goes back into receivership
I'll buy after the next placing. They need funds to get operational.
You're not wrong. I think you've convinced me to wait a year until I go heavy in TUN
I am considering buying up 1% of the current share capital but I do expect a lot of dilution before production XD
Buy in 18 months time, you'll get them at 0.5p or less by then.

I am very tempted to buy more
Oh there it is.
Lovelyboy
Your link does seem to indicate that TUN expect some continuation in their activity. It also looks to be a bona fide posting by TUN. But I agree with your earlier sentiments, we should wait for an official announcement. Whether a permit is granted or not, investors will need to know what the Environment Agency's conditions are, and what they will cost to achieve. So even if there is a positive outcome to the application it will not be the end of the story. Fingers are still crossed.
The community liason link was public domain info. See if it sticks this time.

What happened to Freedom of speech?
All comment about a permit and the need for an RNS was just removed.
If the government were to step in, it would have been months ago. No chance of that happening now.
I see that Devon CC has granted certain restricted access rights,so that might be taken into account by EA.
I agree they seem to be taking an inordinate time. It is a pity the Government can't step in and push some people into faster action ?
It is taking a very long time for the EA to either give approval (a permit) or to say what needs to be done to gain approval.
2 miles away from the mine there are a few properties which have been affected by low frequency noise in the past.
The time taken to try to remedy that problem has cost scores of existing jobs at TUN and quite possibly several hundred future jobs. Not only that, but Tungsten is a scarce resource on the critical metals list and the UK (and the West) needs a resilient supply of the metal. This is an example of how UK permit risk has cost tens of millions of investors money. Just because the mine had a permit in the past did not mean one would be forthcoming on a timely basis for a re-start.
It reminds me of Enron International when Jeff Skilling realised just how bad things were “We invested $5 billion in equity to earn $90 million?
There is a good chance this is even worse Tungsten West could end up investing £100 Million for £3 Million in Revenue and not even achieve a postive gross margin
An absolute disaster maybe the only play here is if you feel a big miner takes things over
Is there a possiblity the government help fund it by taking a stake? it seems unlikely but i would take that gamble
