All clear now - payment on or before 19th June
Last post: peasee, 30 May 2017 16:13
after e mailing company everything should be sorted by 7th june (barring hiccups) and payment should be within the following fortnight
Just found out that although the offer is now "unconditional", it is still waiting approval from the UKGC, so could be awhile yet.
Last post: deadcerts, 22 May 2017 14:34
Anyone know when the pay out is being made - had no communication at all. Seems like would have been better off not taking offer and selling shares.

Thanks for replying
Still not gone unconditional yet, so payment more likely in May or June.
Divi payment received but it looks like final sale (payment) date pushed back. Can anyone confirm is it .... April 14th or June 7th that payment will be made?

Thanks. Does that mean the deal is completed 24/3 and cash paid out for shares? I was hoping they would complete after 6/4 to take it into next tax year....
Final divi should be paid on Thursday Then all your shares get sold Friday Agree they could have got more 240p but happy with profit as I'm sure everyone is . Just thank yourself you did not sell the day before the news came out. Bye everybody very much enjoyed this stock sad to see it go.
Does anyone know the date this takeover will happen and 32red shares will disappear? Or why this company agreed such a low takeover price when their profits were just getting going?

Thanks for the clarification - just got another email from Barclays saying they had made a mistake in the previous email putting the ex date as 23rd March!
Last post: deadcerts, 17 Mar 2017 15:14
No, there is just one dividend of 4p which is paid to those who held shares at beginning of month - then there is the £1.96 per share buyout, making £2 in total.

Am I reading this right? If we hold to the 23rd we get another 4p divi??

Is this business so bad that there is no counterbid? It seems like it. It seems like that the management have caved in to the first offer presented to them. Maybe, they didn't have a clue as to how to take the business forward?

@artman: I'm in from 57p too..... Reading your post @0909Hrs. Are you saying your broker got you 200p per share and you still qualified for the 4p divi?
just sold up too. Came in at 131p in August 2016 - can't complain how things have gone here!
Just sold my holding which I had from few years back when they traded at 57, with current SP achieved, got full amount including dividend, without having to wait for them to pay me off, , obviously priced to tempt more to sell now. Happy with my return of over 200pc. Wish all my investments were this successful. GLA

Assume you have an on-line broker.....should get some notification from them when it's 'done and dusted' .... Of course, nothing to stop you sending them am email. Won't happen for a short while. There's also that 4p Interim Divi to collect. Goes XD on 02Mar 2017. ATB Hugh.
a somehow novice question I reckon but what's gonna happen now? I mean I hold some shares and there is an offer for the company. So will I be approached by the "new owner" with an offer for my holding? How does it work? What are my options? cheers

@SenorJ As a holder in both, NPT was definitely the kick in the swingers and No Divi either. BOL
You reckon? I always said this has to be valued at 220-240p. We shall see. It certainly beats what happened over at NPT! GL
Yeah, nice but waiting for counter bid. More value here. Agreed maybe as protects BoD jobs....
Bought at 136 three weeks ago so happy days. Perhaps the offer could have been higher but happy to have achieved a very nice profit in such a short time.

Peel Hunt initiate coverage this morning with a buy rating and a price target of 250p
Will be interesting to see what their y/e cash position was. Started 2016 with £10m and dished out £5m in dividends plus £1m final payment for the purchase of Roxy. Historically they have been generating roughly £3m "surplus" cash each year so £7m cash at y/e would be expected. More than that and would likely see another special dividend. AIMO DYOR.
Following the excellent trading update, the upward momentum looks like completing a very nice and strong chart pattern which would indicate a major price move in the right direction! Fill yer boots!
I wonder why the delay ? Virtually all transactions are electronic so can think of no obvious reason why no update has been given by now.
Trading update due around 21st January.

32Red's brand punches above its weight in the UK online casino market. Management has adopted a more aggressive stance since mid-2015, both in terms of marketing and with the highly accretive £8.4m Roxy Palace acquisition. Interims show H116 EBITDA rising to £4.5m (H115: £1.2m) and we initiate with forecast EPS more than doubling in 2016 and growing by over 65% between 2016 and 2018. Yet the 2016e P/E is only 13.5x and our peer group comparison and DCF suggest a value of 193-247p per share, 46-86% above the current share price.

Positive cover from ST today after analysing results. He suggests it should get back to the March high of 186p. Hope he is right!
