Just got back from Vegas and was pretty impressed by Hills' presence out there. They are running quite a few Sportbooks in hotels out there and doing lots of advertising around the city on billboards and the like. Whilst the future is uncertain in UK the USA could well be the saviour of the Company.
No signs of any stake building - believe the so called Asda interest was just speculation. There are a lot of opportunities to expand both brands. Hopefully there will be more good news on the 14th.
Surprised this share doesn't get more attention or comments. Think the Heron purchase will turn out to be a very good piece of business. Heron shops appear to be poorly managed with bad stock control - am sure that with B&M's management and their buying power they will soon turn these stores around.
No, there is just one dividend of 4p which is paid to those who held shares at beginning of month - then there is the £1.96 per share buyout, making £2 in total.
Advice please. The offer price from GVC is around 1.17 so surely it is better to sell now around 1.30 than wait for the takeover? Am I reading this right?
