Detailed email response from Assetmatch..
Thank you for your email.
Asset Match is due to operate the marketplace to buy and sell shares in Tri-Star Resources. We expect to run a quarterly auction calendar in the shares with the first auction commencing today. Closing date TBC.
Please find below the link to the dedicated Tri-Star auction page:
Tri-Star Resources plc
All buy and sell orders have to be submitted through a UK stockbroker that is setup to deal on our platform.
Please note that successful transactions are charged a minimum commission of £20 per trade or 3% of the total consideration (whatever the greater).
I would first suggest registering on our platform and having a look at some of the other companies we run auctions for, so you can get an idea of how they operate.
Hargreaves Lansdown is setup on our platform, but they have restricted instructions to sell only. So if you just want to do that, then you just need to contact their dealing team. Your sell order will need to have the number of shares and the minimum price per share you are willing to accept for the shares.
If you are looking to buy and sell shares in any of the companies on our platform, it would be suggested that you setup an account with shareDeal Active (Jarvis Investment Management). You can do this online or you can call 01892 700800.
We are setting up a distribution list for Tri-Star auctions and company updates, which is the easiest way to keep up-to-date with what is happening. Would you like to be added to that?
If you have any other questions, let me know.

Now that TSTR is no longer listed on AIM, where can I follow the stock-price evolutions? And secondly, is there a platform through which I can still sell the shares? Is there a transfer from these shares to the new platform required or can I keep them in my current broker account?
They’ve been on there since November...

Thanks Simon - I am a delisting virgin so all this is new to me but learning!
Thanks All
Hi Krispy, i’m guessing your last message was meant to be directed to me and not Mark?
Yes of course, I was clearly thinking (slash dreaming) of owning those SPMP shares! ;)
I will take up the share cert with Halifax again as they were explicit on not being able to issue due to them being non-uk shares
Thanks
Yeah looks like we’re in the same sitch hotshot!
So yes, full buy out offer or we transfer into a share dealing account of another provider who is setup on Asset Match and is willing to accept the transfer in of unquoted shares!
I’ll update you if/when I find a provider that matches this criteria. I’ve asked Asset Match if they have a list and also contacted HL directly so far
Mark. TSTR is a Uk company. SPMP is not. But we don’t have those shares. So they should be able to issue one.
Re. Your question FFS: All buy and sell orders have to be submitted through a UK stockbroker that is setup to deal on Asset Match (of which Krispy has confirmed ii are).
Your shares will remain with your provider, who will setup a deal based on your instruction (ie. sell to a buyer who is after x amount of shares at x price)
I too only use i-web, which is the dealing arm of Halifax... for my trades, so I guess I am stumped anyway! Have to wait for a full buy-out offer, sometime down the line... as I guess I cannot use asset match? Need that roaster up and running at full production!! :)
I’m waiting to see if II will transfer into trading account from ISA and confirm that they will keep there. I think you only transfer when you want to sell. The downside is it can take three months for the auction to complete. I’m not sure yet what the actual process is.
Thanks Krispy and Mark,
If you do speak to II or HL again, please can you ask if they allow the transfer in of unquoted shares?
I spoke to asset match, who say that they can accept share certs for trades on their platform too. Although, Halifax have even made this difficult....as they are unable to issue a share certificate for non-uk shares!!! Grrrrr.
So bottom line is, I need to transfer these shares out of Halifax and to a provider that is:
A) setup on the platform
B) allows the transfer in of unquoted shares
Any help or info from anyone who’s existing provider can fulfil both of the above would be MUCH appreciated!!
Also, presumably, future trades will only be able to be made via this platform? Unless a buy out occurs, which would be presented direct to your provider?
Thanks Krispy - to clarify do we get ii to transfer shares to asset Match now or when we actualy want to sell?
Topped up today, brings my average down to 10p, better than the 23 it had been. A couple of years ago, after a consolidation or similar, these were 80p if I recall, only for a few days though.
I also agree with staylong.
The key now is to decline any low offers we have to begin with, I believe we will receive a cash alternative tomorrow or take shares in asset management.
I’ll be keeping my shares. Target of 42p for me here.
Moon. Who introduced you to Tri Star. I see you also post on NCCL. Is it PK or MY
I know I’m right.
Well done Mr Lobster
I have had email from Asset Match. They say II are set up to deal with them but only to sell. Hope that helps.
I will post reply from I I when I get it. Can take up to 5 days for them to reply.
I think there will be a £20 charge to transfer and Asset Match charge 3% of gross proceeds.
I have emailed Interactive Investor to ask if they can operate with Asset Match. Will post reply when I get it.
Well done to everyone that bought these ridiculously cheap shares. As you can see we had this opportunity due to Odey management pension stock having to be sold. This ended up being 15%. Add this to other investors with the same problem and mass panic and the price could do nothing but drop. As I predicted, the new trading platform will be up and running almost immediately. And I will predict that There will be a big buyer that will want as much stock as possible as cheaply as possible. My guess is that the offer will start around 3p and will keep increasing
Do not give away your stock. In 6 -12 months it will be worth minimum 50p.

Does anyone currently hold their shares with Halifax? Some of mine are in an ISA with them Halifax have stated that, post delist, they will be automatically transferred out of my ISA and into my share dealing account. However, they have also informed me that they are unable to facilitate any future sale via the Asset match platform. Therefore, it looks like, for Halifax, holders, the only options are:
A) hold in your Share Dealing account and hope for a future direct buy out
B) transfer over to a new provider that is able to hold unquoted shares and is signed up for the Asset Match program
Questions:
1. does anyone currently hold with Halifax?
2. if so, what are your intentions?
3. is option A (above) even possible? Or, in this event, will that have to go via Asset Match too?
4. does anyone know which providers have confirmed that they are able to facilitate a potential future sale via the Asset Match platform?
Thanks in advance
