From the US Defence Dept., awarded on 23 December. Should we get an RNS soon?
2nd para:
"The Boeing Co., Mesa, Arizona, was awarded a $239,590,243 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the Apache Improved Turbine Engine Integration Phase II. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work will be performed in Mesa, Arizona, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2026. Fiscal 2021 and 2022 research, development, test and evaluation, Army funds in the amount of $18,000,000 were obligated at the time of the award. "
Let's hope the Buyer has some inside knowledge :)
Maybe about the ITEP engine's production?
Or February interims?
Took a small initial position yesterday. Some nice contrasting tie-ups and what looks to be a strong commercial story unfolding for SAW. Director buys sealed the deal. I will add if I find my confidence level improve on further research.
useful link to monitor the ITEP's progress, hopefully some news straight from the US Army :

This is all I could find, from October 21 - talks about a Jan. 22 launch..."The first engine to test is now expected in January 2022, according to the Army’s Program Executive Office Aviation"
Would be nice to get some news in the next couple of weeks.

Let's get some news on ITEP soon, and from Bridgestone...still a long way from Allenby's target Price!
Wasn't the prototype supposed to be ready by End of 2021, as per TRT's Final Results in September?
..."GE's Improved Turbine Engine Program ("ITEP"), which is scheduled to execute the First Engine To Test (FETT) by the end of this calendar year"...anybody knows anything?

yep - I am baffled by the current price action
Significant market undervaluation at current levels. Big year ahead for TRT one of my top picks for 2022.
thanks for your answer Uggy100 - it's a trading update, so I did not expect much meat on the bone but these few lines read pretty well imo. It does not point to headwinds and mention increase profitability. I topped up too early but still positive
"Revenues in the financial year to date are in line with the Board's expectations and ahead of the level achieved in the equivalent period last year. Trading results to 31 October 2021 were profitable and cash generative, with net cash at 31 October 2021 of £1.34m (30 June 2021: £1.05m). The Board is pleased with overall progress and optimistic about the outlook for the full year and beyond."
I thought the RNS waslacklustre to be honest. Reflected by the current sp. To me it indicated not a great deal of progress
What did I miss? the update and the call were good and bullish... directors buying shares - why the drop?
All investors should watch the webinar on Investor Meet Company
Tradng update due late september so last chance to secure your Golden tickets for what should be a fantastic journey .
In profit after tax . 80% increase in royalties and more to come with Bridgestone's take over of Otraco. Translogik revenue Up 50% and SAW looks good too
welcome back jackdaw26, hopefully more than on track (-;
I first brought this share back in 1999 @ £1.05 per share. And sold out at its peak @ £35.00 made a killing. Transence is still here. I’m now back in hoping for history to repeat itself?
Think this is a hidden superstar in the making (-;
Dyor gla
I think on current revenues and pe price is about right but when I add in potential ongoing increased revenue supported by director buying then I was drawn in enough to buy in knowing I will be in for the next 6 months but if current trajectory is maintained then I believe my patience will be rewarded and sales may go better than expected. Company already reporting sales outstripping projections
Good set of results this morning .Directors buying at 65and 67. Presentation on Investor meet company at 4:00PM
Nicely put. IMO it is looking pretty positive for at least the next few years. The Bridgestone deal seems to be a large derisk (according to the presentation today). I'm not sure the share price is going to rocket, but I think it will creep upwards over the next few years. Fingers crossed for dividends one day...
BTW, the £1.50 exercise price is till *much* lower than the effective £4 share price we had in about 2013. In today's presentation they said it was not impossible to reach £3.50 so who knows.
BTW, they did not answer my question about what when their patents expire and what the effect of that would be! We can't be toooo far from the IP expiring.
Just looking back over the last year

Obviously I meant £10 equivalent, before the share consolidation.
I think £1 is pretty much certain once we reach next summer IMO. I'm hoping much higher. It used to be at £10 back in the day.... (5 years ago)
