Ryan Maughan was the founder and managing director of a business called Avid Technology Group ltd, he started the business in 2005 developing control systems and then moved into electric vehicle powertrain components and systems.
In 2012 a battery systems business called Hyperdrive span out of AVID, they also sold the drive by wire sensor technology business to German automotive tier 1 Continental.

In 2021 AVID (and also Hyperdrive) was sold to an American business called Turntide, that was backed by some celebrities like Bill Gates and Robert Downey jr. [LINK REMOVED]
You can get a sense for what he has done from his website and podcast: [LINK REMOVED]
If you have watched the companies excellent recent promotional videos and some of those podcasts you will notice that he is the narrator.
He’s been working with Transense for a couple of years part time since selling AVID, so moving to full time shows there is potential. He’s also bought shares steadily.
Great experiences scaling up, M&A, industry connections and more to bring to a company like TRT
This is happening all over AIM " to much manipulation & corruption".
HELLO REGARDING TRUTH FACTORY'S- LAST POST
- please what is the relevance of the word 'Avid' in relation to TRT's new MD.
What is 'Avid' & what damage is being referred to??
Ryan Maughan?Look at the damage at Avid!
And the share price does nothing!
Interesting given the ITEP programme is now in jeopardy.
Dowgate now above 9%

Having recently added a few shares to my holding was pleased to see the appointment of a Sales Director to beef up their Translogic business unit where their product portfolio is now well placed to gain impetus under his leadership. Surprised that this announcement has not yet produced more buyers at this level.
I have no idea, but I would say that IMO the spread is incredibly small for this share (historically) and for that reason I would say that probably they are buying bit-by-bit. Or at least someone is buying to keep the spread tight.
Shares are motoring - would be nice to have a positive statement accompanying the AGM.
Are Dowgate (Recently 8% )still buying?
Done a good job of accumulating shares at the same price. Bravo chaps!
Recent Announcement (see link below) worth looking at regarding the use of the Transense Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) technology as having been accepted by the US Army for use in their T901 engines. This suggests possible follow- on from only use with helicopters.

Now 7%...
Encouraging to see that since my last post (15th August) Dowgate Growth has been continuing to add to its holding...... & Harwood already disclosed as on-board.
Still hoping for a maiden dividend and some news regarding Meggitt plus update on engine project in US.

Pleased to see @masterinvestor notice one of our latest core holdings @TransenseTech #TRT go into the Onward Opportunities portfolio - I look forward to sharing more details on our thesis in our half year results - took 3 months to build the position!!!
What's with all the 9 buys?
Holdings Rns - Dowgate above 3%.
It's been almost 12 months since we signed the MOU with Meggitt. I think it is reasonable to assume that if they were not interested in signing a deal they would have walked away by now. I am very confident that we will sign a mega deal for the SAW technology and expecting quite a spike on the day.
I think there is a very good chance that dividends will be on the agenda in the full year results in September .
We are now starting to get real traction with Saw and that will require some investment but in my view the board of directors will signal the first dividend .
Interesting user name Poole ? I live in Wimborne .
Encouraging to see some follow-up buying to recent interest generated by the 'TIP'. Hoping now that we will see it through the 100p barrier. Even better if they were to announce intention to pay a maiden dividend.
A decent write up on TRT, especially for newbies.
