OK this share can start to rise now please :)
Pretty please...
Ah, Finch, experience tells me that I know nothing.
So, no, I have no idea about a new bottom.
The jump up yesterday afternoon leaves me hoping that someone knows something good.
I am in at av. £2.50 and, like you, "feel" this should be higher, obviously.
Hey wack wack, seems your input has stirred the sp :). I too feel that trainline is under valued. Given their growth into Europe they must be getting close to showing a profit soon.
Have they stopping buying back shares? In the past this seemed to be the thing that kept the sp propped up.
I am av 270p but would like to double up once we get to the bottom as apart from macro environment I don't see this not being back above 400p. Any ideas what the bottom should be?
Cheers
Hi Karl, I agreed with your analysis about finding a "base" - which I guess you meant as "bottom".
Alas, now we seem to have found a new "bottom" - or are we still heading down to find a " new new" bottom?
We are at the lowest since January 2022 when it was £2.00 - Is that where we are heading now?
Down from £4.00. I don't see any rational for that. The company seems sounds.
if you look at the share in a month timeframe sure, however if you flatted out the peaks and dips we are at base level.
nows the time to buy and hold.
Settled!!!!
Really seems like a nose dive to me. Eff sake??
no big sells, seems like we have settled ready to rise back up now.
Does this share ever go up !! Its getting very frustrating !! Gla
John
Well done ronsterr I hadn't picked up on that and was wondering why the trend was so stagnant
I understand there are still more members to vote on pay deals, when will this be- anyone know as I can't see it in the press. Thanks
In case that previous linke didn't work :)

Well seeing the rest of my portfolio seems to be on a minus 4-8% drop today, a slight green here I guess isn't the worst that could have happened!
I agree, everything seems to be heading in the right direction for the results. Happy days soon - hopefully.
Bought some more on the news here. You have to remember this isn't just about the (gloomy) situation in the UK.
Balloting finishes soon for the RMT offer.
Movement here would be nice :)
Morning, yes, looking forward to the trading update on the 15th then hopefully get some interest going for the May FY2023. Things can only get better for the established transport companies since COVID. Im sure the strikes will be over soon and then we will have clam waters ahead. In my view, a share worth holding onto.
Exception - Jesus what's happened to my education!
Market has been very slow to react to this news!
Might be waiting for the 15th..
Popped another £1k in for good measure so it better not go down!
My largest book cost investment at the moment. If I've learnt anything over the years (and I haven't!), Keep your money in until you reach your targets, don't let yourself get spooked :)
There was one acception to that and that was AIM, I no longer touch those with a barge pole!!
About time !! Hopefully some good news in Mch for TRN and upwards we go. COVID being the main drag down is now history and getting a fully functional train service back to the customer makes (to me) this share a very attractive buy at the current prices.
Headline of Sky News report this morning
“ RMT union suspends series of Network Rail strikes later this month after new pay offer”
Master plan not going as hoped ;)
Few more percent and in the green pour moi
NEX results should bode well as the news from the railstrikes washes through (eventually). After all the war against the car leaves people with no choice and the influx coming in to the country to see King Charles's coronation is going to boost footfall. The visitors will stay longer than the day of the coronation and use public transport.
Per NEX
The continued and expanding demand for public transport over the coming years will bring growth opportunities and our strategy positions us well to capitalise on them."
ditto for TRN.
