Another quick question to LTHs
If the marine side of the business gets sold do you think they will include a licence for Northstar i cant see the total rights being sold as it has many applications out of marine
Thanks in advance OT
If the marine business is sold im out , will delight in the share price rise but sad to see the only one main profit making machine sold.
TP Group need to make the other business making a profit , to sell your silver is a death warning.

The lack of information by CEO regarding the marine division would appear to investor as desperate, hence why share price low.
Not a favorite of the the CEO as takes a nice £500k salary , which is all well but where is the profit and dividend.
Ten years and we are at the same place
Sorry but do not want the Marine division sold and if we can voice this across to TP Group
Agree about lack of information i noted these New programs in latest trading update has anyone found any further info ?

Defence review on Tuesday
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-56386446
Described as the most important defence review since the end of the Cold War, it is expected to focus on developing new technology such as robots, autonomous systems and meeting new threats in the domains of space and cyber.
The review is a double-edged sword for TP group. The company has positioned itself really well to exploit modernisation in autonomous systems, AI, robotics and green energy as I have frequently highlighted. My only concern is that the maritime business which is up for sale may fail to attract a sufficiently high price if the review reduces its underlying value. Think this is the sentiment that is weighing on the shareprice at present and hopefully it will soon be lifted.
Hi Adastra looking forward to review will be interesting with a possibility of 4 new subs ?
“Replacing the warhead and building four new Dreadnought class submarines are UK sovereign programmes that will maintain the deterrent into the future. We will not comment on speculation about the integrated review, which will be published on Tuesday.”
Another quick question Gents if you don’t mind how long has the £10+ seller been offloading?
Want to get some more but waiting for it to stop
Many Thanks OT
Obviously £10 k + seller apologies
Topped up today, but showing as a sale on here.
Thats get facts correct TP group have been approached for a buyer of marine business one that have said will sell if sold.
the point is as you say double edge sword and why , my business gets 4 to 5 letters a year for selling up ( why its over 25 years old and makes a profit ) and the CEO is worried that now that the loss making business now sold will this year be the year to make profits. If you sold marine business it will hide the losses and show the gains in profit from sale in marine.
think the marine business is a red Heron.
The CEO has always been selfish and shows in his £500k salary
The hydrogen train story still eludes us what they are doing ? as many other factors
Sorry but ****ed off , can be a great company
Don't worry Thordon I think your red Heron will fly away one day! I'm not to sure exactly what the Marine business is, or is it the engineering business? We're so complicated. For instance is the Digital Solutions team at Fareham part of AI, Intellectual Property or just plain Marine Engineering?
