Leading personal injury law specialist, First4Lawyers, has launched a new brand identity and TV commercial as part of a £10million marketing campaign, supported by Big Communications. http://www.themission.co.uk/content/news/rebrand-and-tv-launch-for-first4lawyers.ashx
Moving it around to gain some interest, doesn't bother me tbh and will sit and wait till it gets into the 30s then start mulling where we are, it really is value and if they can continue to pay down debt and increase divi to twice yearly people will start to take notice. The cost of putting these businesses together is already greater than the midcap, looking forward to the next update already.
100000 @ 26p sell today. Still someone dumping shares! With so much upside to come, one wonders why? Only the cash strapped would do this ....... surely! Oh well. Divi soon
A decent rise indeed, suggesting that there is not much free float would you say?
And it moves almost 4 per cent, now if this can just get a tip somewhere!
"........ and will be financed through the mission^tm's cash flows and existing bank facilities". Would a business be acquiring if times were hard? I would hope not - why stretch existing cash and facilities if it was tough going. I see this as a real positive. Only my opinion - DYOR regards all. SB
Good to see the market responsing positively to the acquisition. Over the past couple of years the group has grown without an awful lot of chat or news items appearing. I wonder how many different companies can be absorbed whilst maintaining controls over key personnel and budgets, it must be a challenge to the BoD. As the UK economy puts the recession period behind, the opportunities and rewards for this sector are very attractive, and investors who took positions at these levels should see a lot of upside. Happy to hold for those rewards.
Still too low, all commentary this week on advertising spend increasing ie google revenues, there's a lot in this share to like and with an improving economy this will have to benefit.
Further inroads in to the healthcare sector, synergies with Bray Leino existing division. Are we now taking the decision to expand borrowings in order to speed up group growth? It may be an opportune time as attitudes to bank lending are reverting to a more normal level post recession. Well done on the buys chaps, adding on the lows looks a very good move IMHO
Another addition......... group still continuing to grow. Now sell yourselves to the mkt and push that shs px up! Mission Marketing (TMMG) - Acquisition of Solaris Healthcare Network Limited RNS Number : 1240R The Mission Marketing Group PLC 23 October 2013 The Mission Marketing Group plc Acquisition of Solaris Healthcare Network Limited The Mission Marketing Group plc ("the mission^tm" or the "Company"), the national marketing communications and advertising group, is pleased to announce that it has acquired Solaris Healthcare Network Limited, ("Solaris"), for an undisclosed sum ("the Acquisition"). Solaris operates in a very focused niche that fits well with the strategy of the mission^tm and its portfolio of specialist agencies. Solaris has historically been both profitable and cash generative, and expects to make a modest profit in the current financial year. The Board of the mission^tmexpects the Acquisition to make a positive contribution in the next financial year and will be financed through the mission^tm's cash flows and existing bank facilities. Solaris's operations will be combined with those of the Bray Leino Healthcare business and the combined operations will trade under the name of Solaris.
of 12k at 24-90 is in as a sell so spread is not that wide. Happy to wait for this to rerate to the 40's over the next year.
One of the features of this one has always been the small number of trades, hence liquidity is often poor. Seen as an investment over the medium lon term that matters very little, but it would be much better of the company could shine it's light a bit brighter in the marketplace. The last couple of results didnt help, as the full cost of absorbing the acquisitions dragged on profits. We keep seeing good snippets of the progress of the different segments of the group, and the advent of dividends is a tangible progression, but something has acted as a brake on the sp for quite a long time, the only thing I can think of is that the director who left has been disposing. Patienece needed, and more PR from the top too would be really good.
Tested a sell of 20k+ shares yesterday - no interest from mm's 24.3 offered - crap. Tested 100k shares buy - 26.8 to buy - crap. I appreciate that this is not indicative of the value of this company - just a small element of share trading by pi's. It would be nice to see the slack taken up! Thoughts anyone? kind regards. SB
Great to see such well known names trusting group companies for their promotion. More power to them.

//Alder Hey Children’s Charity appoints Big Communications to lead major fundraising campaignAlder Hey Children’s Charity has appointed Big Communications to lead a substantial fundraising campaign as it prepares for a move to its new home – Alder Hey in the Park in Liverpool. Alder Hey is the busiest children’s hospital in the UK and a world leader in healthcare and research, caring for over 270,000 young patients and families every year. The campaign will raise funds for life-saving equipment, facilities and research at the new site – set to open in 2015. It will be the first hospital in Europe built entirely in parkland, with design inspiration coming from children and families themselves. Gareth Hopkins, Creative Group Head at Big Communications commented: “This appointment means a huge amount to the whole Agency and we can’t wait to work with the team there. We’re looking forward to creating something special to support the remarkable work they do.” “We’re delighted to team up with Big.” Phil Morris, Head of Marketing and Communications at Alder Hey Children’s Charity added. “They showed a complete understanding of what makes Alder Hey the place it is.”
And very grateful for our farthing per share we shall be. Actually, debt reduction and more evidence that the companies in the group are benefitting from the sharp rise in business confidence would be just the ticketas far as I am concerned.

Hi - Does anyone know whether a divi has materialised or whether one is likely to come our way? Thanks
That does tend to read as some kind of a grudge first post. The management has done an excellent job of weathering the tough years whilst continuing to expand, paying due attention to driving down debt ratios. No mean feat. Sure, exapnsion brings with it issues that must be addressed, but the driving force of increasing market take overcomes such short term issues IMHO. The advent of dividends is not to be sniffed at, progressive increases as debt reduces further, plus the desirable ambition to continue expansion, looks a sound atrategy to me. I rather like the long words, although I always take them as a humorous expression rather than the core of the message.
it seems like the next results will be all important. a distinct lack of substantial new clients, and a business propped up by some good deals, balancing out some poor ones. other than expected debt reduction and a return to divs, it doesn't look good to me , it feels like the BoD need a clearer strategy for growth or find somebody to buy them and remove the fat at the top. impressive new business names clearly aren't following through into profit. Less time on reading the dictionary and more time focussed on getting the price up, via cost reduction and clients wins.
