All,
I have noticed there is no much movement in SP since past couple of weeks?
IMHO it seems like calm before the storm. The only question is from here what should we expect? SP to UP or DOWN?
Any idea?
Thanks
The director putting all pocket money in . But the ubiquitous UT sinks it again after some light buys
So the real reason for the drop appears to have been 2million late reported sells @ 3.42 by some dozy fund manager who probably could have got a better price if informed the company first. But they dont care about loosing their clients money
Robina , i think they call it balancing the order books. I thought they were bot trades , generated by computer. Some people think there is a whole devious underworld of signals and skulduggery by market makers . The truth is a bit dull I suppose
Book's looking much better.
Appears trough has been reached?
The word 'drop' seems to apply to everything I own!
Anyway, what to make of these little buys of 2 or 5 shares?
Shouldnt think the block on Microsoft's offer of £55 billion for Activision Blizzard has helped sector sentiment , although cant see an offer here would present a problem. Just an accumulation of small negatives has brought this back to near 52 week low. Seems to be good support at this level. i thought that was the case @ £3.75 lol! Gl
Thanks oogleflugal,
That's what my guess was.
The meercat always loves any old excuse to drop the sp. Waiting for the ‘suitable replacement CEO’ to be found/announced and the admission of 210,000 new shares on April 19th. Waiting for funds from a couple of takeovers to top here which may well become a takeover target itself. GL all
Any reason for today's drop?
I haven't seen any negative article or anything like that..
Do anyone have any idea?
Thx
Must be, numbers were otherwise pretty stellar imo. I can't think of any other UK plc that increased revenue and gross profit by more than 50% this year. The thing is she owns more than 20% of the company so perhaps market also now anticipating her selling in future for first time. Until replacement appointed could be choppy but otherwise company underpinned by quality.
Really quite heavy selling. All because of the CEO change?
She'll be a tough act to follow. Ends on a high here, revenue and gp up 50%+ yoy coming after already successive years of growth is impressive.
Many thanks to Debbie, assume sp fall entirely due to her change of role.
Thank you Grippa, I was thinking that too. So it was just the acquisition cost being the main reason for the gross profit being nicely up and the net profit ending up a little down YOY?
Thank you for your time.
Robert
If you take into account one off acquisition costs of 9.7 million profit could be up quite nicely next year should be sales be onpar with this year. Just my thoughts....
So, what to make of this, Gross profit nicely up, Net profit slightly down, Debbie leaving after last RNS saying exceptional results...... any thoughts welcome.
Thank you
Robert
its a miserly rise at the moment but that can change very quickly to say you are "significantly ahead" of market expectations deserves more than a 6% rise ...... will be buying a few more at this level GLA
"significantly"
No wonder they were desperate to release the TU so soon.
Love those words - "ahead of expectations". Well done TM17.
Just as i thought well done team17 like i said it was a screaming buy.....i did say results would be better than "at least inline" lets see what today brings i suspect a 20% rise....GLA
thanks just read my fault, would of thought. they would of gave a definate day, good luck!!
“Week commencing 16th January” - could be any day this week
Is there a trading update today? I was expecting a RNS??
