Sbb1. Dear me this is certainly dragging in the good crew. Hereshopin, Btfath, Taversham.
Yesterdays drop is typical of this market. Any excuse to crash a price. Good news yesterday would have added 10%. Bad news and yes its the end of the world. I believe she bottomed out yesterday.

These will be back to 150 in 2020.
Hi DW, yes I appreciated your ironic jocularity, was just mortified, as even if your post had said what I thought I was probably being rather rude - I live and learn - and also was not aware that closed periods were more fixed and assumed that anything of importance would have to have been disclosed yesterday, hence why they would have had the chance to buy, so thanks for your guidance on that. That was the reason I joined LSE to learn from others who are generous enough to share their knowledge and be exposed to alternative opinions to make me think harder. Back to my misinterpretation of your post, it would have been a hell of a breakfast if during your absence Total had come in with a bid and the price had gone to £1 lol It will be interesting to see what happens as the dust settles and the GE unfolds - GLA
ITVNEWS spouting ****e on the EUA board as well this evening, ignore the fool, his mum will take his phone off him ready for bed time shortly
Truthsearcher, thanks for your kind explanation, I had inferred that perhaps you had misinterpreted or misread my post, and was attempting a bit of ironic jocularity. I too find that contrition is an admirable quality, and a tool that I have to use with remarkable regularity. Apology accepted with gratitude.
I can understand your nervousness at the lack of investment from the Board.
However, I am sure that they are in a closed period with the amount of inside information that they currently have, and their Nomad will certainly have embargoed the Directorate from trading at the moment. As a former CEO of a listed company, I know that it is very difficult to find windows where inside knowledge has been purged, sometimes it can only be once or twice a year!
The amount of misinformation that those trying to drive the price down to get a better entry price is remarkable.
This is not a small cap AIM Company where a £20,000 trade can have an influence, Tullow is one of the largest volume shares traded both in terms of the number of shares, and over the last couple of days by capital value as well.
The most striking thing about the share price at the moment is its price/earnings ratio, which at 4.91 currently is ridiculously low.
Yes, there is very manageable debt in there, but there is also a tremendous amount of upside potential.
Even the Today programme on R4 commented at 6.30 am today that the market cap had dropped way below the net asset value, and must be primed for a correction, which is far bolder than their usual commentary on companies.
Yes, I too think that there may be some share price fluctuation, but like RRE and TXP, the market is currently undervaluing the stock and income will prove this over the next few months. Cash is King and ever will be.

“Trouble is ITNEWS is a cr*ap deramper ...”
He’s also now a filtered de-ramper. Muppet.
Hi Pokerchips, didn’t take that view as most profit warnings are caused by management action or lack of it - the blame here was pointed at the CEO and Production Director so thought it would be OK for the two innocents to buy - but your point is fair and maybe they took your view - here’s hoping !
Jester, they say that carapace-1 will be about the same as jethro as it follows a similar trend. All out there on the internet if people wish to research it. I see a big upside from here
" Exactly cannot understand why people are bothering to deramp this it’s already been savaged. "
well..because there are buyers looking for shares...so they pay the likes of ITNNEWS to pop up here in the hope some sells will provide them with buys...
Trouble is ITNEWS is a cr*ap deramper ...
Jethro oil discovery 55mtrs of high quality oil yeah really is bad news
" And an expensive lesson."
GaryDav
It is the expensive lessons that teach you the most...live,learn, grow..... and then get back on the horse....wiser, smarter and ready to get your loss back......wherever that may be
Dont let the f*ckers knock you down......
Yawn....boring...watch and learn
It will open at 47-48
Garydav if you finish dont check. If this bounces in a year youl kick yourself and come back in. Just relax it out. Think you sold at 70p so you still way better than me.
All we need is a positive rns. Just 1! Not buys from directors. That never shows a bottom. I hope carapa is it!
MR D
Hi Mrd how you doing? Better day here today. Just a shame for us. Got our timing wrong . No 15% jump when we bought in at the 1.60's. Still in a bit of a shock tbh. And an expensive lesson. Anyway wish you good luck I'm finished with trading
If they were worried about the debt why make a capital investment! Theyd buckle in the spending. To nothing. They've just taken it to a manageable level.
In 2020, the Board expects the Group to generate underlying free cash flow of at least $150 million at $60/bbl after a Group capital investment of c.$350 million
" I was concerned by the lack of buys from Dorothy and the CFO "
Truthsearcher
Believe me ..the last thing you want right now is Director buys...
The market is NOT going to be happy seeing Directors buying at the bottom, after the Production f*ck ups and guidance mess
If they do...the market will cane them for doing so....
I really dont think it is a good moment for them to be taking advnatage of a situation they have had a real part in causing
Just my 2 cents
$150 million free cash flow $350 million exploration. If it didn't have money it wouldnt explore. In 2020. With oil price at $60. We all know the fears if oils at $50 but with aramco ipo im sure they want more closer to $70
Ah danawinner - Where do i start !? Well i sincerely offer a heartfelt and humble apology to you and am very sorry indeed for my comments. I did totally misread your post - old age, bad eyes and little sleep played a part but that is no excuse. Indeed 50p today was possible and still very possible tomorrow or very soon. I bailed at 42p as I was concerned by the lack of buys from Dorothy and the CFO - it's all very well to say there is value but they need to act. That caused me to think it would drift to the 30's which didn't happen. I am torn on whether to come back in as a retrace is possible, but so is 50-55p by the end of the week. Anyway, perhaps I should visit Specsavers (other Opticians are available) while I consider and for the time being it will be me who retreats to my padded cell and hope that you can forgive my lack of consideration and respect. All the best and good luck for a move upwards from here.
If you stupid enough to short at 40p you deserve to lose it all. The short was from 200p 140p. Not 40p/ tullow isn't going bust! Its still got $350 million free cash flow this year confirmed in 3 separate rns. If it decided to scrap its exploration spends next year it would have $500 free cash flow more than enough to wipe the debt. Tullow will be here until oil is at $20 in 2035.
Wow. And you actually set up another alias just this minute to say that. Filtered.
Ah we got an MMs best friend now lol. Whats the world coming to. My average is 160p. I put in 60k at 68p on the day of the drop all out now
You get in all stocks. When they on their arse. I heard the same in lloyds at 22p. Tw. At 10p. Ppl coming to stick the knife in. You lose them once this recovers pass 90p. Reasonable price.
