Indeed so... Teg is littered though with broken expectations... Here I can watch the empty cans rolling about, empty take away detritus and buckets of fag ends but then I live across the road from the Sally Army. They do a superb job and I make a point of always donating when they come with their buckets. What I have noticed is just how much of a contribution tax papers make to the drink industry without even touching a drop...Oh well another exciting week beckons..Take care
In my County (West Sussex) you get huge recognition for collecting litter. I believe he is an American, living here for years who began a campaign to collect litter from his local area every day without fail because he couldn't believe the mess. He has been nominated in the recent Honours list. We need more folk like him and possibly on the TEG board. .
Whats happening about the retentions?? Oh dear I have been censored. It means the campaign against litter in my county is rude!!
Just woke up (Hard night at the bar) and was sweating buckets..Had this awful dream I was given a shovel and told to load food waste into a digester... As I wrestled with the task those around me said you should apply to join the board.. You too then would make an excellent TEG ******... So I tossed the waste into the machine but was rudely awakened to reality... I was going nowhere..
Nope.. Got the hump!!!! Needed a good rant ...Feel much better now!!
I guess you are not best pleased????? At least we are still going.......................just. LOL
In May 2010 this company fell off a cliff.. FOURS YEARS later the management have achieved nothing towards returning any of the lost money to the shareholders despite encouraging noises. SO. Rententions on Manchester.. HOW Long is "In due course" ?? What are the site issues holding the Gaydon project back ?? Why are the shareholders funding the salaries of such an inept management?? Answers on a postcard Mr Fishwick and not from some exotic holiday destination because the shareholders cannot even afford Butlins..
Lets hope its not another build up of hot air......
You do not get millionaires under this regime. It pays to be on benefits....augmented with a bit of baccy smuggling on the side.. Investors here should be ok as they must me classed as mentally infirm.. Bloop bloop. Oh no we have a blockage in the anaerobic digester and no news comes out...
One day we`ll all be millionaires!!!. Especially if the well intentioned management start meeting their own deadlines
I'm in a similar position. Not the worst!!!! My worst was Lehmanns the day before they went bust. I said to myself - they won't let it go - and they did. It was gambling money. I remember TEG put themselves up for sale and changed their mind. It was a little bizarre. I guess the offers that came in were probably very low and they blanched. So they have to do the hard graft and grow it.
I have traded these a few times in the last 18 months so my average is quite good. I was in profit but have slipped back into negative territory. but only marginally. Sadly it has proved not one of my best investments but then again not the worst as at some point something will surprise me. I still think a buy out but the big investors would pale at their losses..They would probably try and block it but not sure if PG would at the right price..
Well I was looking for any clues on Gaydon and found zero but found the Indie article. If it had been Questor then I would have got excited! I actually sold my entire holding - I think I cancelled out earlier losses - and bought back in - but now in negative territory, again! I think long term it is a good bet and a nice entry price now. If anyone is looking or reading this.....
Not really telling us anything we did not know methinks. Problem as you say is Manchester where we keep being told it is being resolved but exactly how long they seem unable to say and Gaydon where all work on the site has stopped for some yet again unknown reason. I would settle for Manchester and await a statement on Gaydon when the facts can be precise... This share keeps getting a reprieve in my portfolio too...Once because I could not sell them!! PG must feel confident though as he keeps adding..
http://www.independent.co.uk/money/spend-save/derek-pain-not-easy-being-green-with-teg-but-im-bowled-over-by-essenden-9504725.html Gaydon and Manchester need to be resolved........
Nothing happening - retentions - I dont think we will see them
PG adding??
No, don't hold THAT amount. Still hanging in there but sometimes don't know why. Has to be bottom drawer stuff. That was certainly some sale at 14.12??? maybe PG lightening his load!!!!!! ATB
Oh no !! Did you bail out this afternoon....?? I have re read the rns a number of times and each time get more fed up.. Whats wrong with the Gaydon site?? Why has it taken so long to sort the retentions. Not all the sells here were sells but overall without news schlepper is right.. Could well be next year before anything improves.. May even be worse if PG gets the hump..
Sorry. I am greedy!! Think I will join schleeper and wait as still feel this will have to fall on its sword and get bought out...
Very slow moving......I can't see a meaningful uptrend until next year.....hope i am wrong but i will hold and wait for it to rise....GLA.
I'll take 9.75p. LOL
Rententions.. In due course..?? Gaydon ?? Everything else just going ok. Bit restricted by lack of capital?? New projects in pipeline?? Please somebody buy it for 10p a share and I am off..
Still think this company will come good and surprise. The B of D are a bit shall we say ex council... But they may well get there in the end.. So bloop bloop.. Where there is muck there is Spin..
The fact they have now been found liable for the problems at Manchester and are now going to have to spend considerable amounts of money correcting that, which means they can no longer afford to proceed with Gaydon. All theoretical of course, but we'll find out in due course
