That was due to some volume today, I just can’t believe this company raised money @ 145p a share in 2016. The volume is rubbish so the SP may not reflect true value.
A bit of upward movement this morning.
Anybody with £500 to gamble can move this SP.
Looking to good here, looks like its on its way back down to the low numbers again, sector is really suffering at the moment
I couldn't top up as i was scared to death........Average still very high.....damn these manipulators. The SP should have stayed above 50p but the directors let it slide and never bought while it was sliding. I guess the MMs had stops to flush out.
Not convincing as they havent done a good job!
Spells confidence
We have weak management who are not topping up or sending out confidence.
Last director buy was @ 75p, not a single director buy since to send some confidence to the market. The major holders are not topping up too so something bad is going on. The worst investment ever must be tasty, the plunge is so deep and there is no respite.
Got this one on my radar. Tempted to put a few k in for a turnaround punt that won't damage my portfolio too much should the management mess it up more than it is and the company heads to liquidation.
I personally think the whole sector is struggling. A lot of the operators (Prezzo, Carluccios, Jamies) took on an awful lot of debt as I understand it. Obviously they have leases as well as other debt which becomes difficult to service when the market is saturated. The balance sheet here was strong (circa 5m of debt) on top of leases, however this now looks relatively large compared to the equity - i.e. 7.5m. I see a placing happening to shore up the balance sheet providing the brand is still performing. This is likely to be open to major shareholders / family members only. If they survive, even with a cash injection and the resulting dilution, I think this could multi bag, however there is a risk obviously - i.e. it goes to zero.
Might be worth nibbling here but don't want something that takes a bite out of my portfolio. Any sign of bottom feeders to support the SP?
Has yawned, now hopefully it will wake up and start performing......
They raised cash at 145p not so long ago and have managed to turn it into 16p! It has been a long time since any director averaged down ........last time was at 75p.
A year ago this was @ 1.30 and look at it now, the management team need to turn this around and quick, these are good brands but have lost pace with other in the sector. I topped up today and will tuck these away for now, things should improve going forward.
It's obviously a difficult time for this whole sector, although with TAST now down to a minimal mkt cap, perhaps it's the time the squirrel some away - as I have now done.
According to the recent reports, people are spending more on experiences and eating out than ever before then why is this mob failing so badly??
Any ideas as to why the big drop this morning and subsequent9partial) recovery? Leaky ship, perhaps?
What a nightmare share this is............trading volume needs to pick up soon or this company needs to be taken private and delisted.
Restaurant owner Tasty leaves bad taste in investors' mouths after profit warning Share Tasty says trading across its Wildwood and DT restaurants has been below expectations
Oooooooopss............... Hahahahahaha
seems all the sell volumes are those of PIs whose stops have been triggered. TASTY is a great takeover target........restaurants need to consolidate, employ staff on zero contracts and be flexible with menu and focus on selling drinks. People have to celebrate / eat out for dinner. Any short selling data on TAST?
I think I might need my calculator here .. Assets on book 28.5 million x 75% = £21 Million realisable Market Cap 28 million (thats us ..) Profits 0.2 million It's not an easy business, and doing so well not to have folded in the face of so many witheredspoons and muckdonuts. A song from Saturday night fever pops into my head - Staying Alive .... Its not one I would use, and not the way the market is going.
This is a joke, 48,600 shares bought vs 8500 sold. That means 8500 shares from private investors have been bought but 48600 shares was bought from who?
They really fked things up........a takeover is needed, just like RBG got saved!
