SP Alert 108.00 new highs looking good.
I agree that the company looks to be heading in the right direction. Very promising results.
Business looks like it is making good progress. 120p by year-end?
improving figures and more growth to come, outlook very positive.
Hopefully some openings in classy areas, no good siting them in a busy high street where the punters only grab burgers or go in the local chippy. Not being negative but this is where the ones I have spotted so far are sited.
IC published a positive blog article on 13 August featuring TAST, author Kerry Belenthiran.
My understanding is that the company is intending to open quite a few new restaurants in the next year and I would assume that the borrowing is to help fund start up costs for these. I'm glad to see that the funding is coming from debt rather than new equity. They could have financed several new openings from cash flow but the rate of planned expansion clearly needs some extra funding.
Just been to the one in ELY (Cambs) nice place well laid out ,clean and good service. Had a classic burger with fries for under a tenner. My only concern was that bang opposite was a Prezzo are they in competition which would be strange as same family own both. ?
Oh that was a bit of a surprise just checked in and see i am back on target. COOL!!
lets hope its put to good use and not bumper wage packets.
Yummy tasty..........
Not one of the best days in the history of AIM but this little one held its own, and look still the little ladder keeps climbing upwards.
Yes. I felt that it was very positive in terms of plans for the business over the next year or two. He seemed to welcome my call and also said that the Kayes welcome small investors. He also said that they are pretty quiet. They like the figures to do the talking. I'm sure that he'd be happy speaking to you if you have questions.
Is this the Cenkos guy? Was it a positive discussion can i ask, well actually i just did! Lol
I spoke to the guy there who is the relevant contact and he was very helpful. He could not give specific numbers which were confidential but he was willing to discuss the broad picture. This was a few weeks back.
Someone made a big sell what did they not like the food or something. BTW did not get to go on Monday as had to work and such stuff. However did go past the one in Epping High st. and it looked really nice inside and lots of ppl in there so I will check it out soon. Barrers
Looking good today looked at Cenkos but no detail as you say.
Well done! I believe that Cenkos have recently given a Buy recommendation and that may account for some of the interest. However, I haven't been able to find out any detail.
I finally saw a little dip and jumped into the pool. RNS out today passing all AGM agreements so will now sit back, relax and enjoy the show. Lol Atb Barrers
Lots of buy,s yesterday not much today still standing in the wings contemplating my next move. GL to you also.Barrers
I always take the long term view because I have no great skill at guessing whether a share price will go up or down in the short term. The question I ask when buying is simply whether it's worth it at today's price - given my view of the company's future. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to buy at what turns out to be a low price. Other times the price promptly drops 10% and I wish I'd waited! B, I wish you good fortune with your decision.
At this rate i am never gonna get in at my 0.80 think i should take the plunge now !
I agree that the company's websites could do with upgrading. As you say, they appear not to be linked and in any event none of the websites provide much useful information for potential customers. As well as photos, a map of locations would be good. Look forward to your feedback if you go. Good fortune BH.
Thanks for the link i have had a look strange that it is not attached to the main site or am i mistaken. I think the website could do with a bit more in the way of actual gallery pics but thats just my opinion. I guess they are trying to keep costs down while their spending is focussed on the main issue ie openings. I am on the verge of buying in not sure whether to wait for a small drop 0.75p seemed a good price you managed to grab hopefully a retrace then i get in quick. If they keep expanding this could be well worth the money. I see a connection with Ask restaurants and they appeared in most high streets. As you say the Kaye Bros are also in on this so should be good. I will give you my feedback on the local Wildwoods if we decide to go. Atb Barrers
Yes, Stratford is open. In the company's December 2012 year end accounts the Chairman says that "Since the year end the Group's two Cafe Pasta restaurants at Shaftesbury Avenue and Stratford-upon-Avon acquired in November 2011 were successfully converted into a new sub-brand of Wildwood, Wildwood Kitchen. If you go to www.wildwoodkitchen.co.uk you can see it listed there. I have no inside knowledge of this company. I'm simply reading what's in the public domain. As the number of restaurants increases so does the cash flow which allows them to open a greater number of locations year by year. I don't live anywhere near them so it will be interesting to hear if you try them out. I make no prediction as to the future of this company but, based on my assessment of the potential and what I look for in an investment, I decided to buy in a couple of weeks back at 75p.
