Ready to test 30p...........seems like some big blocks of buy,but still no RNS......nothing new same old TAN.......having said that as long that trend is up who cares.....
but fascinating
I can't understand the logic of building a new plant when your short of the dollar, no makes sense to me at all and then the share price rises?
Really?? I read this as well...Logic??? No $$$ and only producing a few machines....so the great idea, build a plant in Chicago (512 miles away from Kansas City) add to the overhead with another facility, fixed costs, labor, etc. While the exsiting facility is not being utilized due to not having cash available...NO WONDER they are not successful! Build it (another plant) and they will come...NOT....Sounds like desperation to raise the SP to make it attractive for a buy out?
Well well welll... For a company on the verge of bankruptcy they have delusions of grandeur. Saying that, Chicago City would not enter negotiations if they did not think Smith were serious. Maybe they can pull it of, hence the 'Weak Buy'
Been monitering the SP this morning, curious as to the big jump today !?
Like you I have no idea what's behind today rise.....lets just hope it's not a case of "buy on rumour, sell on news".........just keep it up,it was long, long due...........ATB.........
ta for that, although I'm not keen on your moniker!!! When an Sp moves we are always looking for some reason, I guess sometimes 'its just markets adjusting themselves' but I reckon the recent seller was relieved of his load. But this article can't harm but I wonder whether we will see Obama make a site visit next year?
Probably something to do with this ... http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/11/28/smith-electrics-third-american-factory-to-be-in-chicago/
Wish I really knew what was occuring here. Anyone got any ideas? Golly, golly, jolly, jolly more exciting.
The buying is so small that I suspect that someone has taken the stock 'on their books' (unless a large delayed trade appears) So tread carefully. Golly jolly exciting.
you seem to be right here - rise before news (not sure it is a leak, though) Jolly puzzling
Seems like someone is trying to up the Sp. Plenty of sellers have been accommodated at 25.5p. Problem is someone trying to accumulate............. Golly pleased (with potential)
The unexplained gentle rise continues on only modest volume; imo it tells us little - sp will be determined by the IMS Jolly interesting
Up is better then down , no matter how small
the "G"; small but significant o/t I am watching VOD closely - think it might go a fair way lower imo (too much weight to only just covered div yield and broker est of VW value for my liking; all have DOOR and not investment advice of course) Jolly interesting times (as ever)
I see there was an after hours print, 112/- at 26p Surely not large enough to promote a rise!!!! Golly I hope my Investment won't tell me i'm off my trolley.
Lots of sustained selling this am at 25.5p Hope there wil be a buy trade ticket posted soon or at the end of the day Golly concerned.
I surrender
Golly gosh, can't do this can't do that....whats the world coming too?????? jolly gobsmacked, jolly tanned and jolly surprised although its always nice to feel jolly............... is that politically correct?.
I'm dooooomed - could become Rather or Really or [pls don't suggest]? Yes, could be trading range I suppose Any high and I may have to dip in for ol' times' sake - but probably won't (just stay on sidelines and watch)
This could be just its operating range i.e 23-25 ish. I do not expect any news from this lot though if we close on Friday in the 27.5- 28 range I will start to feel a bit more perky.
Hi there - yes, and what's happening with Snorkel? Also, and this is seriously personal, you are not allowed to use my epithet "Jolly xxx". Its TM'ed and all rights reserved etc etc... Jolly peeved (or is it flattered?)
Has been recently subdued on no real selling pressure (then again lack of buyers). Possibly the seller is being flushed out and close to being finished (time will tell) I jumped back in here at 28.5 (the day of the slump) looking for stability. Gawd knows whats occuring in the States. Some updated news, either way would help. Jolly frustrated.
no rns; go figure Jolly baffled (& relieved not shorting)
