Talktalk Telecom Group (LON:TALK) Given Buy Rating at Deutsche Bank
November 14, 2019
Talktalk Telecom Group logoTalktalk Telecom Group (LON:TALK)‘s stock had its “buy” rating reaffirmed by equities research analysts at Deutsche Bank in a research note issued to investors on Thursday, ThisIsMoney.Co.Uk reports.
Lending of shares by funds and institutions for the purpose of shorting is common practise.
When Tosca normally buy into a company it is the kiss of death for that company because what they do is loan the shares out to shorters and this bring the company down ,seen them do it many times to good companies ,this is not good they are pond life.
TOSCA & Friends.
Yet another RNS with new holder crossing 3% holding threshold.
Not much longer before the private investor is eased out.
Other than Dunstone, the top four (institutional) shareholders hold >40% of stock. I can't see a bid/takeover succeeding without their cooperation
...and they're not going to give it away
Will he take it private doing a lot of buying
TOSCA scoops up 3.6% of TALK within a few days (Current total holding 25.6%)
Someone likes it ;)
Of course he is...The company is significantly undervalued. It ranks number 3 in my holding.
i think he just confident in talk talk
Any views on Dunstone increased holding? Over £10m in a week!
Anybody think he wants to take it private or protecting any hostile T/O.
Apparently a significant number of new members for TLK's fibre package. Strategy is definitely working
Sorry guys my last comments have been posted on the wrong site
Another 16,000 homes are to be built in my area, a builder has purchased land from the crown estate, the builder in question is rumoured to be TW.
Broker target is SELL = 70p
yes - in straight line since February from 96p to 122p
To end the week on,let’s hope it continues.
TALK is simply undervalued. Expect it to be 150 when results are announced.
Yes, I'm out at the moment, it all got a bit boring but still on my watchlist
Volumes are fairly low but still I don't think I can recall a period of trading in such a tight range as this is being held in currently. Awaiting news I guess.
Tosca bought some more -

To be honest cxs1 I was board had nothing better to do,
Posts were pointless.
But it killed 5 minutes.
Don't particularly see relevance of this post I'm afraid, it's Mesh WiFi, which been available from many manufacturers for a while. TP link do some reasonable kit..Personally not keen on cloud AI routing of such due to snooping worries..
Further details can be found on TalkTalk’s Plume page, where the service is expressed as being an “invitation-only launch” and as such customers will have to register their interest first. However you can still purchase Plume’s service directly from them too, albeit priced in USD.
Phil Amy, Director of Product at TalkTalk, said:
“We’re continuously looking for ways to deliver great connectivity around the home and we know that fast, reliable Wi-Fi coverage is really important to our customers, particularly as the amount of time they’re spending online is increasing. Plume’s easy to use and personalised service aligns directly with TalkTalk’s core values of providing simple and reliable connectivity.”
Sri Nathan, co-Founder of Plume, added:
“Since launching Plume in the US, we’ve received a tremendous amount of interest from the UK. We are thrilled to deliver a new level of personalisation, connectivity, and security in the home to TalkTalk subscribers.
TalkTalk is the perfect partner to expand Plume’s reach to a wider audience and continue our mission of delivering new, high quality services for the connected home.”
Interestingly the ISP “recommends” that you “switch off Wi-Fi on your TalkTalk router once Plume is set up,” which effectively makes it a replacement for the existing WiFi network on their router (TalkTalk’s latest Wi-Fi Hub router is comparatively good at wireless for a bundled device). In that sense some people might find it easier to just buy a WiFi signal extender on the cheap, since all these new mesh style WiFi systems tend to be quite pricey, but some bigger homes will certainly benefit.
