Brutal - there is likely to be blood on the floor today.

“my view is anything that if gets attention it is not pointless“

A naked protest outside Woodsmith might get you plenty of attention, barna. I’m not entirely convinced It’ll get the bonds away though.
Cheers,

My thoughts on this ....
We know that Polyhalite MOP Mix is expected to become the standard.
MOP market is made up of multiple producers, with few large players (and BHP building a monster mine in Canada).
In my mind, if I had an MOP asset and I see my volume competing with others / over saturation, I would want my MOP to be chosen first by customer over my competitors' MOP. How? By owning the scarce resource called Polyhalite (mainly from SM), I would be the only one able to offer MOP Poly mix.
So, instead of mothballing assets, maybe investing in a new asset will create 1+1=3.
But time is ticking, and once we lock in expensive debt, the attraction to buy SM now is diminishing.
IMO

Seems positive for us that it’s doing so well. I can’t see this project being allowed to fail, I can’t explain why, I just believe that it can’t fail.
I have a feeling we are going to get news. CF will do anything to build this mine so i'm going for 13% with warrants attached. I can say the worst but hope for the best. GLA
Hi guys
Nutrien potash mining company, Canadian $51 per share, food for thought ?

I missed one thing off on my summary. The other point to note about today is that, annoyingly, Myo does still insist on interrupting this very serious, informed debate with trivialities about digging a hole and tunnels. Quite why anyone would be interested in that, I'm really not at all sure.
Myo - are you sure you have the right Board.... :)
jonesrichard, there is only one thing to say to that...….
LovelyJubbly
I am indeed still feeling extremely positive, the only part that is slightly off in your summary is Del boy may hope to be a millionaire in 1 year whereas if everything goes to plan I'm quietly confident that sirius could in fact make me a paper millionaire (admittedly once Iv'e paid CGT it won't be worth quite 1 million) within the next 3-5 years.
Emily,
'Sirius was forced to suspend a fundraising offer to the markets last month, blaming difficult market conditions - but now PM Boris Johnson has said he wants to help cut the risk for investors, according to reports.'
What reports, links?
Nomlungu,
Re: 'A lot of Conservative MPs have signed. '
Errr, No, their constituents have!
Steady, yeah you're right (but I'm going with the bbc). Nuff said.
It was quite simply for me this afternoon after today’s fall,
Brought some more of this great share, and if it stays the same tomorrow I ll get some more!!
Believe and hang in :)
For anyone who has missed this board today, where have you been ?!?
I will summarise the consensus opinion amongst the group to save you wading through 527 posts.
The share price dip happened at 12:05.
The dip was caused by a bewildering variety of factors including: 1) the Iranian strike on Saudi oil assets; 2) a "bots" strike on the share price; 3) tree shaking; 4) Market Makers looking to make money on trades by inducing panic selling; 5) domino effect of Stop Losses; 6) a North American potash producer mothballing some potash mines; 7) a BBC rolling news site re-posting a month-old report of the bonds being pulled; 8) Trump; 9) China; 10) the Federal Reserve; 11) an RNS coming tomorrow; 12) no RNS to end September; 13) some insiders knowing everything; 14) nobody knowing anything; 13) Bob, my best friend's cat letting it be known he fancies the neighbour's dog.
As you can see, a perfect storm. Frankly we should count ourselves lucky we are only 10% down.
Indeed, some do. Jonesrichard sees this 10% drop as certain salvation and means that, as Delboy would have said, "this time next year we'll be millionaires" - as he would also have said, "you pI0nker".
As a consequence of all this the trajectory of the share price is absolutely clear - it is likely to go to 5p and £1, whilst staying broadly the same for the rest of the month.
That, my friends, is all you need to know about today.
Excuse me, but there's no way for us to tell whether they were buys or sells. You don't get 'o' trades traded after market. They were trades during dealing hours and are in red because they are equal or under the UT trade at 16:35.
Those 2 x £350k sell after market concern me just a little bit. SP will drop further in the morning but they'll be bought.
here is my take from today
did the institutions bail out today? - prob not no
is the company still building - i think so
do i have much choice? well as a friend said earlier today, bail out now with what you have left or keep taking the risk - i feel like 10 yrs in is now an emotional move im willing to admit it so im in lth to see what happens.
meanwhile, i was reading the sxx prospectus the bit where the CEO and CFO took fairly huge bonuses ... err for doing what?
But parliament has been shut down .
Does this mean the petition/ bonds can't go through?
Which Christmas are we looking at ?
2019 of course
