All these big investors would not be involved if it wasn't going ahead, it's ludicrous to think otherwise. There has already been massive dilution for ST2, and though you can never rule it out again, I can't see how they can justify it if there are any other options. And my guess is they have many, given the size and range of stakeholders - banks, communities, governments, businesses, and entire populations of farmers and consumers needing the food, etc - involved.
It seems to me that the MMs are trying to shake as many PIs out of the tree before things start to pick up.
Be brave, sit tight and ride the storm for the umpteenth time.
Fred, the message reappeared, in an image in the Facebook account :)
when looking at how far the mine has to go to complete to the harbour surly this can not go down the pan now yes the bonds/notes are the holding point for the price going into the last stages and not that far off maybe they feel they have a little breathing space to get the right dealing not have to pay more than they need otherwise why would the market conditions bother them if it was the last straw.well theses are my thoughts.

oh just re-read what you said, my bad haha
care to elaborate on the 'positive news'?
Told everyone we would have positive news today!! shows how much I know, still the fundamentals of project have not changed, use this opportunity to top up and make even more money!!!

Hi, Fred, so the name may be a real one and it should not be included it in our posts explicitly. Still hope the info is true though, as this is one of the ways to ensure the bond to be fully sold without dilution.
I’m not complaining. I hope it’s right and the govt. guarantee is there.
wwguk jones richard I also saw the post in the group, posted about 14:00 which has since been removed.
Others are commenting that the group is secret and SW must be fuming his comment was shared on this bb.
Seemed like a strange comment to make to me and certainly doesn't fit in, in anyway, with what has happened today.
Hopefully all will become clear very soon and in a positive way. GLA LTH.
Steve watkiss lives in Yorkshire and seems like an engineer of some sort so if I were to make a guess, I would assume it was inside info. and not purposefully manipulating the market.
The Steve Watkiss info couldn’t be left on. It was either inside info or a try to manipulate the price. Both illegal. LSE can’t allow that.
I can't see how rumours of government backing would result in 10% drop or article link from one week ago on the BBC. I see it as investors taking their 10% profit now before news.
so can I just clarify that this is an incorrect statement by Steve Watkiss or just speculation? It wasn't on here so surely it wasn't opinion based.

I don't get it....
Hi wwguk - I can’t see it now - maybe it was taken down bec it is a private group and group doesn’t want things posted there discussed on here? Especially when some posters on here make personal comments?
I refer to my observation and question I asked re AEs at 11.46am. today.Would you agree that what was happening was a big clue to the resulting share price fall or am I being delusional?
Ok thanks for confirming wwguk, so it seems in fact we are possibly looking at at very positive conclusion to this bond issue, I think it may have just been that article mistakenly posted at 12.18 today that spooked investors and in turn gave the MM's a chance to do what they do best, in all in nothing to be concerned about imo, hopefully we will get news this week to finally put this issue to bed after a long 12 months waiting then it will be nice to see the sp start moving sharply in the other direction then we will really start to see some trading volume!
Hi guys
Wow what a roller coaster day, managed to keep my shares, don't know whether to put a 7p stop on

It’s neither a cheap shot or, childish. The funds raised from shareholders thus far are considerably better spent just getting on with the job at hand, rather than holding the hand of amateur investors who are probably over exposed, under-informed or, perhaps a bit of both. They’re never going to tell you what it is that you think you want to hear, so let’s let them just get on with ensuring shareholders are rewarded in the best way that they can.

Weak argument , ad hominem attack.
How about being argumentative or dismissive about something he has previously said about SXX?
Go on, be a sport and play the ball, not the man.....
Cheers
The drop coincided with BBC live news feed 12.18 (that wasn't terribly clear about the events in August), so in my opinion that could easily have triggered some panic in investors and a cascade of sells. It's a stressful time. This share moves rapidly in either direction and I'm no good at predictions, so I'm just waiting it out. FED decision could help bond sale IMO.
PAA, do nothing (other than comment on this BB) if that's your wish but a cheap shot at a post is quite childish isn't it?
“I've contacted Sirius Investor Relations and asked them for an assurance...”

And people bemoan the company’s wish for greater institutional investment?
