Wasn’t boris in Brussels today?
Steve watkiss lives in Yorkshire and seems like an engineer of some sort so if I were to make a guess, I would assume it was inside info. and not purposefully manipulating the market.
so can I just clarify that this is an incorrect statement by Steve Watkiss or just speculation? It wasn't on here so surely it wasn't opinion based.
apologies helium1 I mentioned the BB reference as I understood your original message as you were ringing your broker and getting them to read the BB data. Was only putting out factual information, trying to make it easier/clearer. No recommendations or advice from my end, not my game or place to do that.
If you have a BB terminal be good to connect on the IBchat.

Can confirm nothing on Bloomberg terminal, bulk of todays selling was 11.19. Started the selling volume, majority of sells where low but big volume, then a few larger sells came in. Over 500k shares..
Buying has started to flow in, but nothing of considerable size as yet
DGR1980 I’m a realist and the lack of forward guidance makes me nervous considering they are talking about running out of money. Anyway I didn’t start posting to upset anyone, to the contrary it was to just get feedback. Apologises
Knocking on heavens! Sorry for the spelling mistake buddy, I’ll triple check next time
I don’t have the figures. I’m willing to put my money where my mouth is, to the tune of my shareholding. If I do the maths, come up with an idea and put the money in I feel I should get significant remuneration for that. I’m trying to suggest something that might salvage a good company. I’ll stop posting now as I thought I would get more of an activist attitude! Good luck everyone fingers crossed they have made the right steps
I never post I always use this to just see people’s ideas, we aren’t an institutional fund. We are a venture capital fund specialising in equity carve sand divestitures of non core assets if you must know. If you’ve got people willing to make some noise toward Sirius then we might get them listening or giving forward guidance.
I hadn’t done the maths but I assumed it would be around 100/200k but to be honest if they even raised 3/4 of the amount from investors then 1/4 from institutions etc. As they are on track to generate revenue come 2021. I need further details on the bonds but it definitely needs to be explored.
I haven’t done so, as I’m waiting for a call with someone from management next Thursday to discuss structure but they’re literally leaving it too close for comfort. I wanted to gauge the level of interest on this board.
So they need the £410mil, if they raise this from the top 50 investors (funds/pis) it releases JPM. Why would they need to come back, if they go over budget from here I haven’t accounted for that.
There is no dilution, the investors buying the bonds would just have to sit tight for years but the returns are solid and we would come in below what they were going to market at. Following that it’s in our best interest as investors to buy the bonds for the company to progress.
It would still be a raising from investors I don’t know the terms with JPM this is what I will discuss on a call next week but as someone said there isn’t a lot of time. We could move in under a week providing they hit the full allocation.
I am trying to contact management in an attempt to raise through the large shareholders. My firm has about 9million shares in Sirius and we are happy to contribute to the bond and get a % return, for every million shares we own we would provide debt of £100k. To obviously not effect smaller shareholders the minimum holding for this call would be 3million shares.
What’s everyone’s opinion on this, I’m thinking it’s getting close to the deadline and we need a solution.
European bond market dropped from 7billion in July to under 1billion in August. First few days of trading have been positive for the EU high yield bond market.
UK GOV may or may not add their support, ultimately we need to get the bond away. That's all that matters I think in the first two weeks of September
I am noticing that the range of the share price is squeezing. Constantly opening and closing within the previous days range. The move we are all waiting for is determined by the Bond issue, and release of equity from JPMorgan..
Does anyone see weight in this squeeze? Or something to ignore due to the fundamental pressure being so dominant in the short term?
Literally crying! This is hilarious haha
