can rattlesnakes get rattled?
off topic i know - but genuine question guys! :)
I would be highly surprised if indeed he had £7mil. How can a man so crap at calculus amount to that is behind me. I don’t know where his skill is, but it’s not in managing, mathematics or mines. It must be in mis-reporting at a guess...
:). There’s one for the reporting and deleting crew... :)
If I was down to my last 7 million I wouldn't be
too worried. Stiff upper lip Chris, that's the spirit.
Soldier on.
I can’t see CF and the crew either wanting to stay on or being wanted to stay on (by the PI at the least). Then again I don’t see CF and the crew wanting to leave this without first cashing in their lot. That’s a hell of a lot of money to be just disregarding and I just don’t think CF has it in him personally. My personal opinion would be CF staying on an interim with a smaller payout than he would of recieved if the AAL deal had got done. Then in come the Quatarchoicewith input from the IIs.
IMHO.
If this vote goes against fraser and his greedy men on the 3rd ,how can these people have the audacity to bring the recievers in ,after they have nearly brought the company to it knees, will they walk ?will they try to stay ? Or will an EGM.have to be called, soon as ,
I don’t think the Sirius Anglo minions on his B.B and others understand that by reporting and removing posts really smacks of censorship and guilt. The great British mentality as we all witnessed in the brexit debate was to fight against the machine that try’s to drive us forward in a direction other than that which we choose.
Report this post, delete this post I do not care, as I know along with others that come the 3rd CF will have lost a lot of money and AA will have lost out on the deal of the century. Once that is over, the Quataris will come in as they said not getting embroiled in a war with AA. A few more months of uncertainty and then lo and behold JPM who always new this was a good steal will be be back at the forefront with a financial rescue package. Que the loan that we should of had in the first instance if it were not for JPM spotting a way to make money out of this first. Either that or M Lynch may step in knowing this is an ideal opportunity.
All IMHO.
Will fraser be at meeting 3rd of march or his that to hard to ask. Seen the post disaperring quickly

The point Poppop was making, if commodities crashed would AAL pump $3b into Woodsmith when all the rest of their operations were being reduced.
I think he’s right.
Nen2319 - appreciate your post. I have had 3 deleted , 1 on Sat evening, and 2 this morning. This morning’s posts attracted 2 replies each, yet all 6 messages disappeared. Today’s 2 messages were titled CF Spotted, and referred to CF + his Mrs out for Sunday lunch in the locality.
I can assure you there was absolutely no abusive content or foul language, yet someone monitoring this BB decided very quickly to delete the messages and replies.
Smacks of ‘Big Brother’ somewhere behind the scenes.
That's a shame Fred .
Thanks for booking the table though, I'm still hoping to make it transport permitting ..
We'll keep you posted though I'm sure and lets hope we get the result we deserve ?
They buy because of that volatility. I bought at £4 and sold at £8 thinking I had done well but another year and it was c£16. Certainly, would not buy at current levels but some will bearing in mind it was £23 just a few weeks ago. Just look at its turnover, Sirius is not a big deal for it. It would probably like it but at the price it wants to pay. It probably has a list of other deals it could do in the various markets it works in.
If aal can pick up sxx for less than 405 mill if and a big if , it goes into recievership. Why the advert in the paper the phone calls , the general sense of o shxt we. Ve judged this wrong , if that easy you d just sit back and do Nothing wait and pick it up cheap no stress.
Why would anyone buy into that volatility, especially when the share price is at the top of that range. Poppop said if AAL buy Sirius and there’s a Stockmarket crash Woodsmith will be mothballed.
Just to let you know unfortunately I have to be somewhere with my son for a couple of days next week and it’s really hard for me to make the meeting. So I have just voted. Hopefully depending on how it pans out there will be other opportunities to meet some of you as bond holders! - I’m sad to miss it and not to be able to say hello to some of you but I will be thinking of you!
I have reserved a table for 10 at Lantana Cafe, Oliver’s Yard, 55 City Rd , London EC1Y 1HQ. They are quite happy for people just to have coffee.
It’s a short walk to HAC from there.
I will post again to remind those going nearer the time and book it under Sirius.
Gertfrobe, yes just look at the daily share price history. In 2016 share price was below £3.
RIO & BLT -6 % AAL -9% is it normal for Anglo.
Beekster, Anglo price is probably nothing to do with and mainly due to commodity prices and global economic concerns. If you look at their share price history for even just the past 5 years, you will see it is hugely volatile and this sort of movement had been seen before.
Balls (load of) not buds.
Ate my SIPP
The way the market is today, that could occur sooner than you might think!
Let me know when they’re at 5.5p and I’m in.
I know markets are all in the red today, but Anglo's shares are down 9%. I wonder if part of the fall reflects either the possibility of having to raise their offer for SXX...or the possibility that they might fail to pull off the steal of the century? Either way, I have just bought a few as some kind of hedge!
The mine is too good an opportunity to pass up. The future value is huge and when it comes to it AAL won’t simply let it slip away for the sake of another 1.5p. The fact that the offer isn’t final gives them the wriggle room to up it. If they do they’ll have Odey onside which will probably persuade a fair few PIs to vote yes. If the offer stays as it is then potentially everyone loses. Yes, AAL could pick it up through the administration route but I can’t see that happening. This is all a bit too high profile and a higher bid will emerge.
