Look like buys to me
Back on the Radar, will certainly buy on further dips here
Decent results. This was recommended by Mark Slater
Broadcaster ITV gained ground after saying it was on track for double digit profit growth for the full year as it posted a strong third quarter book.
Taking a peep, holding up nice !
Finally, some respectable movement to reflect the value here, or is something else afoot?
Tipped in Shares last week, stating Stv is highly cash generative and digital revenues are forecast to grow 30% in first quarter, only on p/e of 9 vs. itv on 14
Good results published by ITV today, hopefully this gets us past the 380 mark here
... and I am surprised this hasn't risen higher than the close
Looking for 335-340 entry given expected quiet period over the next 2-3 months. Results in March I think
rev up 6%
All pretty quiet, STVG, seems to have dropped way down with a hint of turn around. I'm assuming the three bids for local TV is just to keep the SNP happy so there will be a cost but with care only a little. Any thoughts?
Good rise today on the back of stability from Scotland.
hopefully the markets will be more confident now and we see STVG gains. gl
Great news on the vote, should see this return to where it should be and more
Hmmm my timing was wrong for the obvious reason I missed! I am close selling out to taking a quick loss
Yep I looked at this company again today and bought in.. good luck to you Chan
Agree D' and all in all, things look solid for the future. ( Strong Hold )
Pretty good results today, and I have a cheap PE of 11 and Market Cap/PPT of only 11x. Debt does appear to be a little high but still manageable and has been reduced by 8%. Balance sheet strengthened and cash flow is good STV cant't seem to break out of the 370 support line, with a few false breakouts. I am tempted to buy in, and will add to my watch list in the meantime. Numis reiteration to 483. OUTLOOK -------------- STV national airtime revenue was up 8% in H1, largely driven by the World Cup, and is expected to continue to perform in line with the market during Q3 with the cumulative forecast to the end of Q3 up 7% year on year. The regional market was flat in H1 due to the dominance of national campaigns related to the World Cup during May and June. The regional market continues to be more volatile than the national market with revenues down 9% in Q3 but up 35% in October, giving a cumulative forecast for the 10 month period of up 6% year on year. Digital revenues are expected to continue to grow by 15%-20% year on year in Q3 and also maintain this rate for the full year.
Additional Listing STV Group plc announces that application has been made to the FCA for the listing of, and to the London Stock Exchange for the Admission of, 248,011 Ordinary Shares of 50p each fully paid, ranking pari passu with the existing ordinary shares, to the Official List. Admission is expected to take place on 15 August 2014 and the shares will be issued to satisfy awards under the STV Group plc Sharesave Scheme.
STV Group plc will publish its half year results for the period ending 30 June 2014 on Thursday, 28 August 2014
Numis Securities BUY with Target of 483.00p Reiteration ( 08-Aug-14 )
ah sorry - wrong board
wsg arent the only ones to make the agm an open day, tour the facilities etc then, srt agm mentioned on stockopedia below: "Special mention has to go to this maritime electronics company, appropriately based in Bath (!), which has taken what I think is a great initiative to turn their AGM into an Open Day, where anyone (shareholder or not) is welcome to visit the company and have a tour of their facilities, meet the team ,etc. What a great idea - details are here. I hope more companies build their AGM into something more than just a legal requirement, then attendance might improve. I won't be able to make it, as the travel would be too onerous from Hove, but thought I would give this very worthwhile initiative a mention. I think this shows an attitude of openness, and shareholder friendliness, which is sorely lacking at many companies, with shareholders all too often treated as a nuisance - See more at: http://www.stockopedia.com/content/small-cap-value-report-9-jul-2014-chrt-srt-beg-stvg-tht-84652/#sthash.gNBkvGyR.dpuf"
