Only dropped .85% on ex dividend day. Must be undervalued.
Soon to be a lot bluer as I have bought more last week ready for divi. Hope the sell off has ended.
A blue day. Was about time.
Ubik: This will recover and is caught up in general panic selling as normal. (FTSE 100 manipulated clearout). Watch the funds start buying back into this one when the panic selling is done. Looking at long term chart, this is a great price range to buy into. Probably will go lower, but that`s the time to buy and hold. Looking for a 20% profit on this one including dividends. Think this is a realistic target.
HalfMan: Appreciate Your wisdom and advice, but I`m quite happy to invest at these levels.
Also out of RevB but at a very slight loss. I wasn't too up for watching my close to break even deteriorate. Perhaps a bit hasty, but who can say? Re-deployed some of it here as seems like a more stable bet than mucking around with volatile AIM shares.
Probably worth doing doing a bit of research around the implications of the FCA mandated Consumer Duty and the wider implications to firms like SJP.
Rookie error should have not got all in and spread investment across a number of tranches. Lost count how many times I’ve seen this.
Welcome on board Ubik. Thought i`d put some of my profits from REVB into something more stable ????? Trouble with Me was that I have a stack of cash and should have bought into this at lower amounts or waited until a true bottom has been reached. Now down a few £k and an average of £9.45 after Todays top up. Did very well from REVB and am sure that this one will come good eventually. Hope I dont have to wait another 10 Months like REVB. Good luck with this one. Totally out of REVB now seeing price dropping. Bit like this one......
Hey Rocket, I started watching this after we crossed paths on the RevB boards. Piled in today. Sadly it has continued to drop but long term I think the business is rock solid.
Stupidly piled with a £40K punt just below £10 not that long ago. Wasn`t expecting a fall like this to continue. Top up Today and it now an hold for divi. As previous comment, a blue finish would be very welcome.
One to tuck away and leave for the medium-long term - the drop totally overdone given the fundamentals of STJ
Not since I’ve been invested 😂
Can anyone remember the last time this share ended on a blue day and more importantly when will we get another one!
Inflows is a negative agreed but the company still produced a pre tax profit of £385m in the period compared with a loss of £296m in the same period a year ago?
Total closing funds under management still rose by 6% in six months to a new high of £157.5bn.
SJP also holds a healthy client retention record of 95% plus.
The market possibly overreacting, time will tell???
Also eying this up. I can't see inflows being that great with rising interest rates, but conversely SJP isn't abut to disappear and will definitely bounce back when investor sentiment returns. Could be a bit of a wait though. How they offset the lower fees (their fees are/were ludicrous tbh) is another question.
Unfortunately it dropped another significant amount today.
Let's see some blue. Decent broker ratings through this morning. Overcooked.
While the HYR were not spectacular, this seems like a strong over-reaction for such a good ftse 100 company. Like most unjustified shareprice drops I treat this as a buying opportunity. It rarely falls below 1000 (though justified during covid) so now is the best time to take a position imo.
This will be down to covid lows by 4th quarter or 1st quarter of next year once hardcore recession recession bites, parabolic inflation and interest rates, brexit basket case U.K. of course with its own particular set of now terminal impoverishing problems, unfortunately what happens when you allow the great unwashed to vote on anything important.
An abysmal set of figures. I don’t see things getting any better any time soon. Go woke……..Go broke!
£50k for 5% 993..... Let's go. Will buy the dips too if needed.
And more big buys coming in, someone is loading up big time:

Easy 5% bounce from here
£11.84, decent set of Half Year results and drops like a stone - overreaction at £9.92 as of 20mins ago. I'd expect this to creep back to £11.00 territory fairly soon.
