check in today, Nwf relished to the ASX started at $0.165 and currently sitting a little prettier at $0.18 (0.10gbp)... Lets hope its back to to pre suspension price
Additionally, anyone selling at 0.12, even those who participated in the Open Offer will be making a loss, so I cant see that happening. Hold and wait for the retrace back up to at least the placing price of 0.20c
Yes, hopefully people have already taken their positions and are waiting for an easy return from these levels. GLA
The mass sell off happened in the days leading up to STEL being suspended. The share price dipped to 0.0525 at one point, check the trades. The NWF share price is approximately 15% higher. People were forced to sell their holdings in the final days at those levels but anyone holding now can sit and wait for better things. Or sell and make a quick buck but given NWF have never looked such good value I doubt there will be much of a sell off
ASX displaying $0.12 bid - $0.165 offer and that's before the sell off = not good
NWF has come out of suspension and has a current SP of 16.5cents. Volume for he day was only 47,000 so the sell-off of STEL shares has yet to begin. Looks like itll be a hold for several months.
$0.175 share price would be a decent open 0.7622 New NWF Shares for each STEL share I think my 143,768 STEL shares (9,302.68 avg 0.065p) become 109,579 NWF shares If the share price is $0.15 then those shares are worth $16,437 (9,132) roughly equivalent to 0.0635 If the share price is $0.175 then those shares are worth $19,176 (10,654) roughly equivalent to 0.074 If the share price is $0.20 then those shares are worth $21,916 (12,176) roughly equivalent to 0.0847 I believe these are accurate and are based on the current AUD / GBP exchange. Maybe I am just optimistic but once those STEL shareholders in profit exit I don't see much reason to be a seller in the current NWF market. The shareholder will be trading at a depressed level and having completed this acquisition on the cheap and a cash raise there should be a lot of confidence in the shares and the future of the projects. No doubt there will be UK investors happy to flip a quick profit but once they are out there isn't such an easy way back in for the vast majority.
NWF are still suspended
Zoro is on about Newfield Group currently trading at approx 2.09
can you provide a link to what your seeing, sounds like your viewing the wrong stock lol
I wish.... NWF is Newfield resources on the ASX
Am i missing something here, NWF is trading at over 2.00 ?
Literally just put the phone down to AJ Bell as no share are showing in their systems as of yet. The official word from them is the new shares are due to be released to them on the 9th and on or around the 9th is when the shares will be credited in my account and available to trade... So to be honest, makes perfect sense to avaoid a free fall and then the question is will NWF remain suspended until that date? Hope so....
Ok great, thanks Knicol. Around the levels I was expecting then. Hopefully like I mentioned yesterday, I think the fact that everyone hasn't been issued their NWF shares straight away by their broker will halt the mass sell off on opening and give the share price a chance to recover slightly.
The new shares have been admitted to trading on the ASX as of 4 May 2018. NWF stock is currently still suspended until readmission notification. The last share price is still displayed showing $0.245 however the offer price has now readjusted itself to show $0.175 showing on this page. https://www.asx.com.au/asx/share-price-research/company/NWF Awaiting resume trading. 0100 - 0700 am UK times good luck all
I checked IG at about 6am this morning when in theory the ASX would have been open and NWF should have been trading and it was still showing as suspended at that time. I was expecting somewhere between 0.15 and 0.18 for open, so no real surprise here. There was a reason STEL prices were at the level they were before suspension. Hopefully onwards and upwards from here to get to a decent level before we get issued our NWF shares (whenever that ends up happening!)
Superjim, I too cannot find a current price. If you open up the graph (market data) on IG you will see it is 0.16. I'm assuming this is because of the dilution.
Hi Knicol, Interested to know where you are getting live NWF share prices from my IG account is still showing them as suspended at 0.245. Also when I've searched on the asx website it's showing the same thing, not sure if this only updates daily?
Shares issued as of 3 May 2018 - its up to your broker how long they want to take to credit your account with your allocation. Would suggest phoning them daily to push them along. Which broker you use? Offer price $0.175 last check so bid likely to be $0.15 - and that's before the herd sell - not good
Just wondering, when should I expect to receive my new NWF shares?
saves the hassle of investors selling at early UK AM hours lol
...a couple of times now, including today. they are selling NWF shares and crediting the cash to your nominee or isa, as soon as possible from NWF coming out of suspension. You wont just lose all of your shares, that would be illegal, I have it in writing from x-o that they will be crediting me the equivalent, via letter.
You will not lose your new NWF shares, they will be issued to your current provider from where you can transfer them to IG. May drag on a bit dependent on facilities X-O and IG have access to but you have not lost anything due to the transfer failing. You can no longer be issued with a Stellar certificate, it is now like the proverbial Norwegian Blue parrot.
I'd still chase up X-O to see if they can issue a certificate and see if you can do anything from there. Seems harsh to lose a far few k of shares for this reason. Hope you manage to get some kind of resolution to this. Best of luck.
Thank you for your prompt reply Superjim, X-O did not receive the request until the 29th and replied back to IG on tuesday. IG was sent request on 17th but took some time to process. Everything appeared to be Find until 10:50 today. No a good situation- but at least I top sliced and hence broke even when takeover was announced.
