All buys since yesterday including a 2,000,000 purchase and the ask has hardly budged, I appreciate that the volume is not that heavy, but would have expected a little more on the upside. GLA LTH Verbs
Yeah if its on Twitter it must be true NOT
Yes most probably for a pump and dump exercise.
It does need to hurry up mind, surely this has to be the year something happens for us.

looks like Rig is really coming, as per
https://twitter.com/Alexios1201/status/1083116999574728710
herd will start jumping in here soon
I believe they have ordered a brace and bit from the car boot sale at Reebok Stadium. It’s arrivi in the first quarter, but nobody knows what year. No news on financing the new deal yet. Probably placing at 0.00000001p
But it's on the way governor.....honest
Think they are going to buy shovels, as these rigs keep disappearing somewhere else, fed up with promises of when it is going to arrive
,.,
is now imho
news incoming soon ?
Just checking in, it’s 2019; so where’s the drill??
Kati promised Q4 2018, and?..
Ok it was delayed, again. Shit planning, shit management.
So wha5 next? Drill started?
Yes/ No , timing?..
Yeah, it’s been building it’s posi and paying wages and costs at the expense of the PI’s. They don’t give a fig about the sp.
If anything, this year we should finally see a huge boost and return to our investments here as we progress towards ororo production and further assets are also added already producing.
Finally we will soon be in the best position we have seen here, which is what the company has been building on for the last number of years.
First check in of the new year for me, having been laid out with the flu everyone in the Northwest seems to have. What another pile of rubbish. I can’t see this company ever achieving anything. Most of the big holders registered through secret offshore nominee accounts, so nobody knows who owns what. Brown envelopes left right and centre, it’s no wonder the African nations never move forward, they’re all bent as nine bob notes. First sign of an exit, and I’m out. Bobo can buy his own frikin clown make up.
Due to previous news stating they will spud in q4 2018, they had to put one out saying this will not be happening as per regulatory news.
The reason is the the crew have for what ever reason not completed work for previous contract, delays probably, and as most know in this business a bit of an issue with a few parts and weeks can be added to a drill. Technical issues during drilling can also cause substantial delays.
Definitive times to be given when known, lets face it, this is out of SRSP hands and will happen when the rig is ready. I suggest when rig is about to be moved we will get the definitive time update.
Its not fantastic news, but its what we already knew and i know a lot worse news we could have, maybe 2019 will be our year, or 2020
Blatant market misleading information
“Spudding of the Ororo-2 well will not now take place in Q4 2018” You don’t say!!?
Shelf already stated they wouldn’t be spudding Ororo till January so hardly a surprise this late in the year.
“The Company will provide definitive timing when Shelf Drilling notifies the Company of mobilisation to the Ororo-2 location”
“Definitive timing” What’s that supposed to mean? Nothing is ever straight forward or plain english with this crew.
What are they going to pull next I wonder!
Tell us something that we haven't worked out for ourselves:
Sirius Petroleum (AIM: SRSP), the Nigeria focused oil and gas development and production company has been advised by Shelf Drilling that the Adriatic-1 Jack-up drilling unit which is currently stationed in the adjacent oil block to the Ororo field (OML 95), and is completing the last of pre-existing contracts with another operator prior to the Sirius work programme. Spudding of the Ororo-2 well will not now take place in Q4 2018 and the Company will provide definitive timing when Shelf Drilling notifies the Company of mobilisation to the Ororo-2 location.
perhaps, if you have done some bits of research, you will see they are referring that they are in discussion with the swiss bank subsidiary per in that RNS in Nov 2017. and until now, nothing has been finalised yet as per the recent RNS
'we have been in discussion with the swiss bank since 2017'
Only a person who is in the know is qualified to make such a sweeping statement
Are you in breach of your NDA?
it was more of a question and not a statement.
we recently approved authority to raise another 1.7 bn shares, and if at 1p, we could raise 17m. if sp is around 0.6p then amount raised will be even lower.
the last raise was on 2017 and we have been in discussion with the swiss bank since 2017, yet no funding confirmed.
only my observation and my question to those expert in here. not a statement per say.
jeffry is a person who has a lot to say - offering his opinion on 17 different bulletin boards in the last 30 days is no mean achievement
Ignore him at your peril ????
Why ? Your imput may be welcome !
i see placing coming first, before the drilling starts ?? oh well.
If the Adriatic1 is only now starting the quickly arranged short- term contract drill prior to Ororo, then I cannot see it starting at Ororo this year as stated here in the Shelf Rig Schedule:
"Awarded a short-term contract with Niger Delta commencing in Nov 2018.
Awarded a 135-day plus options contract with Sirius Petroleum, expected
commencement in Jan 2019 in direct continuation of Niger Delta contract"
Perhaps the trip to Cameroon took longer than expected and the Nov 2018 start got delayed. It would be good to know if we are anyway connected to its current drill. It does seem strange that after we were told the rig was going to Ororo it suddenly got an extra job.
Sounds exciting. An early start was mentioned somewhere previously. RNS before new year to confirm we’ve been at it for a few days would be nice. Especially so, considering the shallow waters.
The following is taken from a post on the Advfn board:
"On the way from Cameroon to OPL 227 the convoy stopped several times. That was almost certainly for operational reasons, perhaps some problem with the towing. I notice that it is only the most recent movement of the rig two days ago that has brought her inside the Nigerian territorial waters boundary line, where she has finally come to a complete standstill and where she has now presumably commenced drilling. It is also at this point that the two tugs have left her and gone back to their "home" ports. To me that indicates that the tugs were required to hold on to the rig until she was allowed to come inside the boundary line to fix her position where she was required to drill."
