I had a conversation prior to agm commencing and one of my concerns raised was on the subject of an rns on both the Hazen claims and the sepiolite testing by the euro company .I basically said I wasn’t happy in relation to comms and pr as well as the companies performance . The answerwas basically to say that he didn’t want to appear to be going into other areas at the moment ( hazen and sepiolite ) .make of that what you wish but that was basically the answere
I could understand that answer if cs was rns after rns and flying. Clearly not and nearly a year late on production. He has no interest in sp until the end. I do think we will get there but it is torture watching sp drift.
I’ve tweeted you on Twitter Rodster, is your account still active?
Hope so Lee. It's amazing that posters in last few years seem to know all. Actually I hate to say it but safe is spot on but he needs get behind pc to sp up. Dubs you used to be spot on but not recently. Your posts have changed since sold loads .
rodster, your sly dig noted and dismissed as your usual twaddle.
Perhaps you could explain if you think I am too supportive or PC or not supportive enough?
You ask Safe to get behind PC at the same time as saying he is spot on for being critical; it makes no sense whatsoever.
Dubliner - I would love to be fully supportive and behind PC - but in your heart of hearts do you honestly think he merits or deserves our full support ?
Ultimately this is a 'do I buy/hold or do I sell' issue. I have not been happy with how often dates slip, but I'm holding because I still think things are moving (slowly, and with no reliable projections about when the next stage will be reached) in the right direction still.
Safe - just to clarify I was referencing a comment from rodster who suggested that you 'need to get behind PC to get the SP'.
My view is investors can hold whatever view they want on their investments but preferably not getting too personal with any criticism.
Nice to see the SP slowly waking up!
The Hazen and sepiolite projects are, at this stage, speculative and long term. If SRES had money to burn, spending seed capital on them would be sensible. But they don’t! Issuing shares at a depressed price to finance projects which won’t generate a return for maybe five years makes no sense at all. It is clearly much more sensible to focus scarce resources on CS which offers an immediate return. Once CS is paying dividends to SRES, is the time to develop Hazen etc. Otherwise we face years of further dilution.
I would totally agree with that statement tim000. We need to see what the deal brings in the way of cash, and then take it to the next stage of proving up more assets. I asked PC whether his gut feel on the Sepiolite find, could be commercial. It was a conservative affirmative! Which is backed up by the fact that the European company were sufficiently excited by it to go over and take samples. It could be that they provide the finance to prove it up as a JV. If Pozz in concrete takes off, another CRMC could get involved with the Hazen find as another JV. Exciting times, plenty of potential for adding value at these levels.
I own just over 1% of SRES, so I have confidence in PC to develop CS profitably. I have expressed these views to him, for the moment he needs to focus on CS. Assuming that’s a success, if he can then develop Hazen and sepiolite equally successfully then the share price is going to multi-bag over the medium term. But for now, CS is the priority.
Tim excellent post but new projects specalitive and long term. Cs was supposed be short term and it was as production early last year. Pc has given us no fifers or anything. Why are we not in production as that’s what many lth thought were told via rns. New projects now on the go, no doubt placing to find them but why are we in production. I'm all in for get income or revenue and re incest it. As for you dubs, I'm sly, you over many years when you held loads you always posted informative information. As you said you now hold a small amount of shares and your posts now sound like safe, myself and come on ie drivel.
rodster, you must realize in the last 12 or more months there has been very little to analyze RNS wise. Most here have complained about the slowness in news-flow.
Just because I have a reduced holding I don't suddenly want SRES to fail nor am I looking to repurchase. I am absolutely hoping we do sign a JV with the CRMC.
You seemed to take offense because I and several posters had modest price targets in the event of a JV. I said I thought we would do well to get to 1p; that is a circa 4 bagger from here. Time will tell though and if we go higher great but I prefer realistic targets.
By the way your posts are really hard to decipher so you might want to read them before pressing Post Message....
I know progress has been slow, PC acknowledges that, but SRES is a tiny company looking to negotiate and sign a JV with a much larger entity. In those circumstances, SRES is entirely at the mercy of its partner, wrt timing, but not wrt the terms of the deal. Imo our CS project with all necessary permits for production is a scarce and valuable resource, at just the right time. The current share price doesn’t reflect this.
The markets have witnessed years of jam tomorrow with SRES, so now they want to see real money coming into the company then the SP will move. The question is will Pozz in concrete take off and will the CS Project become profitable for SRES shareholders ?
You are right martinBD, the market is sceptical the company can create some real value, that the shareholders can share. PC has given enough facts that the market is hot for what we have got. Demand for Green cement, decline in fly ash, increase in prices, technical benefits, new types of cement. I think the future is ‘orange’! All looking good, not one negative apart from my lack of patience.
I would love to see the numbers laid out for your valuation if we get a JV Dubliner, have you got a link? I was thinking more like 2-3p myself but want to guard against deluding myself with wishful thinking
Nice posts Patrick, sorry Tim. Sounds like you have inside info mate. I hold 1.4%
Please spell out what point you are making, apart from you hold 1.4%. What are you getting at?
Sheldrake, the esteemed poster SGD37 did a very detailed study based on Kirkland and their deal with Boral and recall he got ball park of a penny. I have no doubt higher numbers could be calculated even based on initial 100k tons per annum. Your numbers could be correct of course; time will tell.
Nothing justone, I’m sure there’s nothing suspicious about first time poster Tim that’s expressed his views to PC. He must be legit, he’s made it clear he holds just over 1%, everyone does that don’t they.
Now you mention it though his comment could be handy for a company that’s just been caught withholding news on the Hazen and sepiolite projects.
Why are you so suspicious of people who hold different opinions to yours? I normally post on another website, but wanted to counter the view here that it was good business practice to continually dilute existing shareholders’ equity for no reason. I mentioned my holding just to show that I have confidence in the management and assets, whereas you clearly don’t. Finally, if I were the CEO, I’d be reluctant to tell the world about new projects until (a) I had land rights to them, and (b) I was confident they had value and so wasn’t misleading shareholders. I’m guessing PC would have similar opinions. But who knows.
They had land rights for most of 2021 particularly for Hazen project as it says in the first paragraph hidden in the 50 page audited results “during the year” I.E throughout the year and they had completed 28 day test results, indicating they had staked the project at least 28 days before it being mentioned in the audited results. Which I’m guessing they only included it then because the costs had to be put in the report because they are not using their money they are using our money.
it’s against AIM rules to withhold information that may lead to a price change, End of
Not releasing news also has a negative impact on the share price. I don’t know about you but I’ve lost over £30k from the value of my holding because they broke the rules and chose to withhold information.
We haven’t lost anything, except the unanticipated chance to buy more shares cheaply. I don’t see the point in second guessing the CEO, we don’t know as much as he does. But imo any future value to those projects remains uncertain at the moment. PC wouldn’t have had any regulatory requirement to mention them earlier, or he’d have done so.
