Hypothesis:
Tolsa's not going to come in soon enough to get the company through without more investment.
This fake confidence is a desperate preamble to trying to raise more money. If he can't raise more money it won't matter what wild promises were made because the company will fold.
" I will ask him directly whether he can counter the comments made against him on this forum, with some evidence of performance."
He will think he can, and he will say he can. You will look into his eyes and see a man who sincerely believes he can. But the reality will be that he can't. These conversations at AGMs where well meaning people go and meet him and come away convinced he is well meaning and confident have been happening for almost 20 years.
It's not a question of whether he wants to do the right thing, or believes he can. It's a question of *can* he. And we already know he can't. If your remaining stake is worth enough to get yourself a curry and a pint, do that.
Believing in PC simply because he believes in himself, or wants this to succeed just as much as you, is how you see that bit of money you have left disappear completely.
He's not really dishonest or doing anything Machiavellian. If he could do something to help long-term holders he would, as he is one himself. It's time to recognise that he's just not got the skills and to stop investing in him. Getting angry with him will achieve nothing. The problem is not motivation or alignment of interests, it's lack of capability. Accept it and move on.
Holding on to this disaster of a stock hoping you'll be back in the green one day is a recipe for losing everything. It's one failed placing away from folding and going to zero. Pull out whatever you have left and go for a pint.
"Everyone here on this board are nursing losses"
I'm not. I sold when it was twice current level, invested in other things and more than made the money back I lost from my original SRES investment. You're all just caught in the monkey trap of being unable to accept some loss and admit a decision was a bad one.
There's no big RNS coming Justone.
I don't know what you think I'm lying about Twiggy, I can find past posts here demonstrating exactly what I said. Many of them just before I sold, when I first realised he was working part-time most weeks.
"You have no clue of PC’s work ethic or capability, how can you know, when all the work is done under the radar."
Yes I do. I can see the lack of results and massive destruction of shareholder value in the SRES share price chart since launch. I saw him waste over a year just talking to a single prospect. I saw people make excuses for this under the misapprehension that he has 'the Alpacas to look after' and wasn't being paid a salary (he was and is)
"Pc has always looked out for us as whilst nothing so far brought to fruition , he has only raised money when reqd and kept trying to make us rich"
It's not his integrity or incentives that are the problem. It is his work ethic and capability.
"It’s pathetic. He keeps mentioning being unable to raise any more money but he seems to keep saying it just after the company have raised more money. "
Every raise that dilutes existing investors to fund more talks that lead nowhere makes future raises riskier.
