morning Riddler and James -yep another point up -hoping results should be good and we might see movement increase a bit. Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend! BTW James I sold JPR and will watch on the sidelines now and see what happpens next week....
Glad i,ve got some after reading all that! Didnt realise they had such wide interests, look forward to results especially with the germans having come out of the doldrums before us,bodes well!
Not on cost that i,m aware of,on another one and not a problem as such just a bit an unneceesary dig when i was polite and wishing good luck,a bit silly really and i mustn,t be so sensitive i guess, point taken and support appreciated, cheers mate
Been a bit pre-occupied with my cost and hawk but on jpr, sold and bought back in yesterday but not making a big deal about it after someone launched a rather immature attack for having sold, bizarre really! Any share is up for sale at any time and in my opinion its only ones that pay a decent divi or are in loss that shouldnt be sold unless you need the money for something else, have i missed something there? Didnt address the issue as i feel good manners always is the best approach when people try to provoke you, clearly the fear/greed expectations can change peoples character and i think it,s best to reality check yourself every now and then that we are only playing here with money and not livelihoods.Well thats my opinion anyway and i try not to take myself too seriously and be polite in my postings! Sorry to have gone off on a tangent here SQSers!
hello mate -not seen you around for a while? Hope all is going well for you? Big day for JPR tomorrow are you still in?
A penny is a penny! Morning chaps, glad to see its still slowly creeping up!
at least it keeps going in the right direction -Should be grateful for that I suppose
another tick up this morning.......come on SQS grow some legs for goodness sake!
yep -a tick up a day is better than nothing for sure :)
Not seen that heard somelse say that as well. with the fib level expect resistance at around 23% of the difference between bottom and top price 6mthly) which were bottom of 165 and tp of 2.45 = 80p and 23% would be around 20p ish so expect resistace around 1.85. think thats right. anyway sorry to the guys on here for using other bb chat. looking at TEG and MXP teg graphs ot quite sure.. Still pretty new. think i'm missing some of the signs. will get there tho. You seem to love that share.. d you own the cmpany or something.. LOL keep the info coming very helpful this guy everyone.. GL everyone.. i'M A JAMES TOO
my keyboard on laptop has nearly had it, if wmh do well i'll buy another one. GL all in this share
enjoying that chating stuff u put on general chat. very helpful . cheers. I applied it to WMH.in @1.65 n0w 1.78 andstill got more to come i'm sure broke the upper boll line and had a rsi of 30 when i bought in. will keep eye on that till e get above 70. can i ask what do you thinkto CSLT can apply the theory and chart suff to that. with haing so many falls and due a 00. struggling with a uy in price. i've figured out a good price would be 10-12p... sorry to all. on this bb just wanted a little help. thanks again
Agree, this is a decent hold. My dilemma will be whether to sell if/when they go over a couple of quid as i pretty much hold most yielders for income verses cash in the bank no interest and i need the liquidity as i run my own business and cash flow is everything. The gambling came into being after bank shares dived and decimated our pension plans and by and large, active trading has got me back from ground zero but have no issue sitting on paper profits on the tates, nat.grids etc which i got into at the right time but anything a bit penny-ish have no delusions its gambling rather than investing. Interesting to note you have the turnover discipline and havent fallen foul of holding shares for almost sentimental reasons. The split holdings i,ve only recently got into and it really works,a tad more on costs but very good creating a discipline,i kind of "hide"a few non-yielders in my investment portfolio as i,m less likely to knock them out on a rise or a whim. Always learning but appreciate the feedback from yourself, jellyboy and a few others on these pages and its great communicating with those of us who do this as people who dont have shares seem to have short attention spans! e.g.my girlfriend, bless her!
Target buy and sell ranges on less than 10 dealing stocks, consolidated bets, good idea. I came a cropper trying to have too many companies but with tiny holdings before so going more your way i think. Seem to have done okay with the 20p-50p stuff if jpr was anything to go by but with the pennies, except lonr and to a lesser degree, mwa, normally cant wait to get out and learning patience the hard way! Came away from stop losses on the gambling ones as the volatility can kick you out at the wrong time,do you agree?
hi James, yep I am still in Cosalt and took up the OO, case of having to really -I am hopeful though that once the dust settles I should do alright with them -not overly concerned about them -anyway aplogies to anyone elso for going off topic.
And i,m not even going to mention those bloody cosalt things which have been an averaging down excercise from the day i bought them including an 00,which gave me a brief profit on take up but didnt sell as my broker stiil hasnt got the stock and therefore not worth the risk,do you still have yours jelly and i assume you took up the 00?
Sorry, had to cut in on this one,got out of jpr yesterday and someone had a pop but didnt want to mention my base holding was at 15p,a few weeks ago, that would have been immature! Gkp,what a surprise daytraded that for a couple of hundred quid recently and sold at about 12p,oh for the benefit of hindsight! Very much into hawk, pmk, sdy, moni and cost at the moment but cost is a holder, have split the pack for base and extra holdings to play with. Bought some vog yesterday as a total punt, holding onto ray come rain or shine, trp similarly, lonr and mwa forever, leaving the yielders alone, that includes this one,any thoughts guys?
doubled my money in there so can't complain really, but still makes you want to kick yourself -LOL!
kicking myself for selling GKP at 32p!!! But still thats the way it goes -having a good day though with CRND, and AUL ...still in JPR which is having a good week although bit of a retrace today, all in all pretty good mate thanks.
Hi Riddler, well following confirmation of breakout yesterday, would have been nice to see a bit more going here today -LOL -hope things are going well for you mate.
Like you say,a slow burner but as long as it keeps creeping up and that div gets paid,i have no worries on this one. Thanks again for that info on cost, james, have put those teg on my watchlist by the way,do they have a yield, now or historical?
flippin hope so -I am getting a tad frustrated with this one -patience required I know! Hope things going well for you mate
Sounds promising, looking forward to the breakout and it would be good for this one to get back over a couple of quid, though i,m of a mind to hold as the yield is impressive i think, cheers for the bollinger info,it certainly worked with that xp power share a couple of weeks back, good luck all!
