I have been following Simon’s analysis for at least a decade and often buy his recommendations which have done very well indeed. For example, I have held SAN Leon energy ( SLE) for a few years and made a terrific return with much more to come as this stock is also included in his 2021 portfolio. Re SPR, this is very much below the radar but the most exciting comment by ST for me is that the land bank of 16,000 plots is held on the balance sheet with a modest value of £174m so a little over £10k per plot with half already having planning consent. The interims due this month will give a hint to what we may start to see here in terms of future growth. If I was one of the national builders I would be looking closely at Springfield. If the market does not fill the valuation gap here someone else will IMHO.

GLA
Small cap company with only 99m shares in issue - but if it's a good price still buy it as the counter side is that it doesn't take many share deals to move the price up or down more dramatically.
Also the actual price you can deal at is often less than the spread shown.
the spread is still **** ,can someone explain why it would be so wide .
this company is soldiering on despite the pandemic .they are still constructing and selling house ,they build a very good house which helps ,they have huge land bank .and minimal debt ,why their price is so low is the head scratcher possibly because they only floated just under 4 years ago .and they are still quite small company in terms of the likes of Barretts and some of the big private house builder in south of England .But their share price is just about back at the pre pandemic level of last february . so possible time to jump in ,

Sales and cashflow rebound as lockdown lifts
Scotland's only quoted housebuilder's home completions and cashflow have recovered sharply from the country's prolonged lockdown, with delayed sales fuelling what the Group predicts will be a strong first half to the current financial year. Today's FY 2020 results, to May, show the impact of the lockdown in the final two months, which normally account for almost a third of sales, but confirm that delayed sales are expected to add to strong underlying demand in H1 2021, with debt having fallen by over £25m in four months and a 2p final dividend proposed. Our reinstated forecasts assume PBT surpassing the previous record by FY2022E and debt continuing to fall.
Chatchy catchy MONEYkey.....

Walker group looks like a good add on, opening up the Edinburgh side. Main market a bit slow to this company?
Just read through the Annual Results released on Tuesday. Very impressive to say the least. Not many companies around growing at circa 30% per year and paying solid improving dividends.
Sandy Adam, Executive Chairman of Springfield Properties, said: "In our first full year results since floating on AIM, I am pleased to report another year of strong growth for Springfield. We built more private and affordable homes than in any previous year. We made great progress with the development of our Village sites and we added significantly to our strong land bank, securing future growth. In particular, in the final month of our financial year, we extended our geographic reach with the acquisition of Dawn Homes, who share Springfield's core values of looking after customers and building high-quality homes.
"As we look to the future, I would like to thank those who have enabled us to reach this point. In particular, I would like to thank all of our 593 staff for their hard work and dedication, and I would like to welcome the Dawn Homes team, a strong addition who will ably develop our business in the West of Scotland. Springfield entered the new financial year in a stronger position than at the same point of the previous year. With an established pipeline, strengthened foundations and the long-term drivers showing no sign of abating, the Board is confident of delivering strong growth for full year 2018/19 in line with market expectations."

This company is a proper gem! Mark my words, this will be £2 before the year's out. Not bad investment, just wish I was in at £1.10
This morning. We have a local office and i deliver to them , i spoke to them this morning and they seem happy. More research needed but in for a penny
Springfield should concentrate on building their houses properly and resolving all the issues in the homes purchased by their customers before trying to build more houses. My house in Nairn and others are badly put together and the poor management thats dealing with problems that shouldnt be there in the first place!
Have bought a decent size stake in here and looking to add more in the coming months. Company growing very impressively and IPO funds will only assist this further. The Scottish government have just committed to build 50,000 affordable homes over the coming years which just underpins the potential here with both private and affordable housing arms. Company aiming to deliver 1000 homes per annum (currently 620 at present) and DOUBLE turnover in the next 5 years. Scottish housing minister on site recently and announcement of Dividend due soon. Very excited by this share. DG
