Well done Palace another stop gap free loader of a useless Eng Manager to take charge! What is it with Palace & Eng managers? Oh yea were the only mugs who'll give 'em a job. Kinda like here.
Morning all...LSP?.. think they have slowly been unloading they must have caught a cold on this one. Could be they were not keen on the private Co idea? That's down to 4 iis now. Who knows why iis sell out at a loss? Best guess is they don't want to be tied up in a private Co as opposed to having doubts about the products usability. They of course may think it will never sell enough cookies, if so why hold on to the last minute? Why subscribe at 16 & above if they had doubts about its commercial viability?....Oh I know they are punters just like us mugs! WGAF about them anyways they get it wrong as often as we do. This nonsense about iis are financial geniuses and can do no wrong is baloney.....ask W. Not much bothered (unless an offer comes along) as once we go private your stock is worthless conditional on you finding a buyer of course at an acceptable price...so good luck with that. The countdown continues. Six ( I could never count) trading days to go. Where's our fairy god mother she of magical powers and bringer of good fortune?
From note 11 in the rns today..... ***LSP Life Sciences Fund NV sold its entire remaining stake in Sphere Medical on 8 September 2017.*** Entire remaining stake...could just mean what they hadn't already sole earlier....may be!!
And it moves quick.. not a lot of stock about. Those buys on the day it bounced from 0.6... can't see from trades that it has been sold..
JL..... I think the last day of trading is at the close of business on the 19th September....so still 6 long days of trading ahead of us.....
LSP out.. but I can't see they shifted them in the market.. who has the shares now?
That's LSP out as well. One must ask what Woodford sees that no other institution does
Still time for someone to make a cheap offer. Perhaps a bidder has a better handle on what the Co might be worth in 2-5 years. Strange that our nav was c £6m end of March yet 5 months later were worth nuffink! Ok i know nav has nothing to do with mrkt cap, i know from my o...lie experiences. Goodness knows what the intrinsic value is, could be anything so I'm guessing any offer will be below 2.822. Not enough for me and I doubt W whose avc must be 8-10 unless he's been buying sub 1 these last few days. Four days to the end of Sphere as a listed Co, another shameful episode in the UK's "We're NOT backing Britains Companies" (present Co accepted).
Morning and LOL
BBC 1 tonight (8.30pm).....Alistair Jackson meets the families of some of the est 14.000 people whose deaths from sepsis might have been prevented and hears from the health professionals who are trying to tackle the condition. Sepsis can lead to multiple organ failure and death without quick treatment...so you might think treatment would be a priority....?
Sepsis patients are being failed by hospitals (DT)....missing symptoms and failing to give anti-biotics quickly enough. Figures obtained by BBC Panorama show that 24 acute hospital trusts failed to administer intravenous anti-biotics within one hour to half the patients. Figs also show that 14 acute hospitals failed to spot signs of sepsis in half of patients while around 10 hospital trusts said they were identyfing every suspected case. Sepsis kills 44.000 people in the UK each year. Dr Ron Daniels CEO Sepsis Trust said "the scale of the problem is enormous Sepsis affects 250.000 people across the UK every year and causes more deaths than breast cancer, bowel cancer and prostrate cancer put together" Jeremey Hunt Health Sec said " we definitely have to do a lot better".......Kinda bloody too late mate!. Proxima lactate analyte is designed to be used on Sepsis patients. Will the NHS be bothered? Maybe someone better tell Jeremy. Too late for us as mostly everything is.....
Or.....infamous!
I think it means were famous 😎
The Dutchman stays for the Southampton game...lose that...see ya!
cellis you have lost me!
Sphere Medical and scroll down the links ie ISE and Proactive or The Stockexchange , we have our names on the LSE web link , it's the PK post thanking myself Del and John for our help !
Thanks for your thoughts. Its nice to get both views :-)
Initially Woodford will have to pay the employees and management their wages. Last year this amounted to c £558k pa for the board and £538k (basic wages) for employees. So say c £1m + extras for performance social security costs etc... How much savings can be achieved I don't know but ball park might be 30%+ over a year? Incidentally employee nos at year end '16 was 65 (+2) on '15. Any left over would be aimed at P4+ (nearing completion) and production & developent c (£3m in'16)...for P5. Whichever way you look at it it's tight. How far will £5m take us? (No accounting for CPS monies). Guess work to P5 and FDA sometime in '18/19 with a poss raise we could do it? Thereafter no idea. P-K you have enough info to make a decision, (a hell of a lot more than when Del invested) so don't dilly dally. You have till Friday so could be cheaper yet...or not? I think they are worthless (until proved wrong) the market attaches a zero rating we could have 500m+ outstanding and disappearing into a black hole of a private Co worries many. As minority holders we will be at the bottom of the food chain but I'm guessing here with perhaps 30% of the Ords we won't be entirely insignificant. Have a pleasant day. ****e diem pk!
If you do buy...treat as a loss and forget about them. Hopefully every now and then you will be contacted by the company with a statement of sorts...and even better if one of those contacts is to inform you that it will be returning to the market in the next few years...or been bought out privately... Anyway the best of luck what ever you do....:-)
Thanks Cellis for the information. Thank you John and Del for your replies to my other questions. Wonder what woodford knows as he is happy to put 5m at 4 times the current share price. Hence thats why i am interested in putting a few hundred here. Gl pk
Your contradicting yourself , you said 4 years minimum, do you know what your talking about , obviously not , you hadn't taken into account the time since April 2016 ,I know you think the board was laxed but I'm sure they would let the boffins play cards all day to while away the hours , not 70 of them , wake up man ! They've been hard at work adding buttons , switches , flashing lights and alarm bells
P4 got its certification Dec.2016 the process of certification took at least 8 months , so since April/May 2016 development of Proxima must have gathered a pace , this and the lack of interest by UK/European hospitals must have been the reason why P4 has been all but curtailed , at best P4 plus or P5 may well be ready for Certification or the US equivalent by 3rd quarter 2018 , I can't see it being any sooner but that may well turn out to be 3rd quarter 2019 ! Nobody knows , better ring Woodford he might or will be able to give you a better idea
Is it complete or still in development. What is woodfords cash injection going to be used for? Thanks Pk
