John 102m shares haven't been traded , 51m have been sold and bought by others ,that's 36% of the company , I think the time scale won't be as long as you imagine ,18 months has passed since P4 was presented for certification so I could see P4+ ready for approval in 6-9 months ! I think this new funding will be the last , IMO Woodford thinks that will be enough to get it to the market and get enough feedback to either close it down or otherwise
A decent meal at a London restaurant with wine and a few beers before and after would cost me 50.000 Sphere shares. Jeez have a few of those and I'd be skint......oops I'm already skint!
No doubt shorters are picking over the scraps or whats left of the sp from 0.875 down to current....that c 60m traded. They are the only ones making money as it's been a daily one way downwards sp trade. A license to earn money.
Since wk 34...(the crash inc yesterday)... 102m (72%) shares have been traded and round and round we go....
Only 4 trading days to go as any 'offer' recedes into the background W imo is more than happy with his current position. He will have probably upped his stake in the Ords and most likely owns most of the CPS which likely has had a poor reception / take up from pis. I guess our remaining 4 iis have mopped up those (+ warrants)? What % of the huge vols traded since the crash has ended up with pis I don't know and more to the point will there be a rush for the exits on the 19th? If anyone is interested in taking on Sphere, today would be a good day to show ones hand. I think it's highly unlikely and W wouldn't be interested at the prices being discussed here and elsewhere. So returning to the private sector looks a certainty now. That should in no way effect the running of the Co even if W retains the current board. I hear redundancies have already happened to some of the staff so would expect reductions higher up especially salary wise! We of course will have no say in any matter from the 19th onwards....not that we ever did, so no change there! Shame they did not pull the plug at the EGM, the last wretched squeezing of the life blood out of the Co being orchestrated is not a pretty sight.
1080 Sphere shares for a pint of lager in London! Someone's having a larff......
Massive 31% spread!
Yea I guess W has a few options are unlike pis! We are totally reliant on P becoming a commercially viable device....in time. Will W devote the necessary time & money to achieve this? We have a chance if he does...if not sayonara baby!
Hardly worth bidding when the concert party have such a large stake already. Perhaps he can use the development costs as some kind of writing off within his larger group? I don't know.
Still surprised no one has made an offer for Sphere. To take the Co over the pond might take another £10m investment so considering the vast amounts of cash spent getting us here it's another c 10%+. With Lactate and the auto set up this can only add to Proximas desirability...one would think? Yet to date nothing has surfaced which I'm pretty sure Sphere must disclose to holders...Ok Aim might be different. So must assume we have had nothing in writing. Why one would not want to buy a Co for next to nothing that has had such huge sums spent on its development is a total mystery. Afterall P has only been on sale for 9 months and we cannot know for sure that those 80 hospitals we started out with consider P to be just an expensive toy. Feedback data to HQ will be known to W & Co so perhaps hospitals are now ordering P4+ and he sees demand growing. Would W&E put another £5m in if the outlook was poor? Has any ground work been done by SVB in the US that W thinks P can be commercially successful over there? Was not the plan to have a successful P4 operation in Europe, catapult us into the US market? Has that now been abandoned? I'm looking for positives but at this late stage rather pointless. Not knowing the management structure among other reckonings is a huge quandry for pis. Have not changed my mind. Still intend to throw my lot in with W.... having come this far to jump ship now would be silly and i've done enough 'silly' in the past. So unless a miracle happens before the 19th....
Cheers JL....
Apologies Del have only just looked, and replied.
Jeez...just finished watching last night's Sepsis documentary on BBC 1. Pity the poor bloke who survived minus arms legs and a face! FFS! Goodness knows if P4 is any use in the fight against the "silent killer" but the NHS stand condemned from my (lay persons) point of view. Oh well bring on the b/tops they'll sort it out....
Oi Oi rugs!!..bit below the belt!
rugs....did you get my email?
What Palace need is somebody who can find the back of the net. We should have scored 5 against Burnley and then Frank might have kept his job at least for a little longer. ''Woy'' is surely a short term arrangement.. He is nearly as old as JL!
He was in charge at the Baggies for a while. He is a good organiser....which Palace might need at the moment.
He controls Wales decision so yes the £5m is because of him, don't be so naiive about "bothered" wasn't intended to wind u up
Firstly...I have bothered to read the circular and am fully aware that it is in bold...big deal... Secondly..if you bothered to read the circular properly...you will see that Woodford is NOT putting in £5 Million as you posted.....
This is not kind of statuary statement they had to add to the circular, if you bother to look at the pdf you would notice that it was clearly highlighted in BOLD so take it as heads up. If Woodford putting £5m at 2.82p then why not offer same for minority holders and get them off the hook then maybe merge it with one of his other Bio plays cutting the useless board out and getting something out of it....
I'll sign up to ADVN when we're kicked off Lse....I'll still post occasionally on Ideagen, Sportech & Zambeef...not that I'm invested anymore in these but maintain an interest as family/friends are in involved on my recommendation and they have better things to do than waffle on BB sites.
I understand that the web site will be maintained by SPHR....so it will be the place that I will keep book marked. As I said before...the ADVFN BB will most likely remain open long after LSE BB is gone...not that we would have much to post about JL....:-)
Yea agree Del...Cannot see much of a future while we are quoted and that's why I'm not building any hopes of a 'reasonable' offer..whatever that might be? Resigned myself to valueless future for the next 5 years. Won't be disappointed then will I?
I have been in a past company that went through this process....that statement is there for company law purposes.....it is stating an obvious point under AIM rules. I would/wouldn't be surprised if it happened or didn't happen... This company is delisting at the close of play on the 19th of September.....I would imagine there are a few positions taken hoping for something like an offer.....but if it does not materialize...there may be a scramble to get out of those positions.........
Well I am sure an offer could be made well above these price..!
