1981Investor - You post a lot, but contribute little that is constructive to this board, merely multiple daily doses of bile and demands as to how others should post.
I began to wonder what the purpose of the 1981 in your nom de plume was. Hoping it wasn't anything as mundane as your birthyear, I did a little research and I do believe I've found it. You celebrate the year that ' Little Miss Bossy', the first book in the Little Miss series (of the female versions of Mr. Men) is first published!
Speaks volumes... :-)
Good morning Gino.
Mr men books only bettered by Winnie the pooh.
Have read all of them to my girls when they were little.
Thank you for bringing back a memory.
Would you like me to post about governemnt-backed Ecuadorian miners being forced to suspend their operations, Gino? Because that's about the only related news today, and as it doesn't have much of an impact on Solg (as an explorer rather than a miner) I felt it irrelevant. I think I just have a more judicious filter as to what classes as post-worthy 'news'. And I also have an appetite for calling out idiots, which 20mins a day in this board satisfies nicely.
Indeed, 1981 is DoB. Feel old at 42, but would guess I'm pretty youthful compared to most here. Maybe that's why I can be less desperate?
I was just reading this…
https://www.mining.com/web/codelcos-llurimagua-project-must-be-suspended-ecuador-court-rules/
Our board need to pull their fingers out of the cigar box and get a move on monetising this….. Bob, fast and smart is starting to sound like something Mather would have said.
Sadly Bob doesn't control how fast we sell, Orthern. If he did, we would probably have a TO soon.
As far as I can see it's miner, not miners and relates to the jv with Codelco. With full justification the company is arguing that when they were granted the environmental licence in 2017 the current requirements didn't exist and were only enacted in 2020. In other words it's retrospective.
As we know, we are bending over backwards on this issue and as we are in the fortunate position of knowing what the requirements are, we should be able to satisfy them. However, this news is relevant to us and is yet another sign that we must keep the locals on-side.
As an aside, since we don't actually appear to be doing anything on the ground, we've got nothing to suspend. We've don't it voluntarily.
its also relevant to any majors currently considering investing billions in to a country that seems to be a basket case..
'done', not 'don't'.
The suspension has come about because EMAMI and Codelco haven't followed the full and due process. That's on them.
Good on the Ecuadorian courts telling minors to follow the highest standards at all times. Anyone thinking of snaffling SOLG should think on it.
Orthern, on that basis I take it you're no longer invested?
no im still in... hoping, just hoping for mid to late 30s.... and ill be gone.
Do Ecuadorian courts often make such demands of children, Bozi?
Ha, got autocorrected. I'm sure a bright chap like yourself gets the gist of it 1981.
I think red was hoping to buy back cheaper?
Chin chin
addicknt, just look at his posts for goodness sake
the guys trying his very best to stop the solg rise and he's failing miserably.
I think the chinese know exactly what they are doing with Lasso and quite happy. If they weren't then they wouldn't be about to sign a massive ground breaking trade deal.
Fort- be smarter.
How can anyone on this board hope to impact the SP by posting? This has always been you rampers most obvious idiocy.
I know full well I cannot influence the SP up or down from this board. So even though I'm invested I don't feel the need to relentlessly talk up the share. It makes no difference!
Be honest for a second - do you believe the comments here impact the SP? We're all waiting for your reply, and your inevitable climb down.
its laughable to believe anyone on this lse site can influence the price, even if they wanted to.. its a very naïve view.
only ever expressed by posters that only want to read positive, back slapping posts.
You'll have to buy back soon orpherncopper as it will be into the 20's and you'll be scratching around for negative stuff to post then.
Just buy back in and stop with the ridiculous pretence that you are invested here. You posts over the last few weeks have gained in their negativity as you become more and more desperate to spin some doom and gloom.
Everyone can see it. It's embarrassing. But that's alright, you can just get a new alias again like last time.
Fort, I'm asking again because I don't want you to wriggle out of yet another question. You never explained why you said BR moving stock between funds was keeping our SP down, but now I'm asking:
Do you believe what is posted on this message board changes the share price? Yes or no.
If it's 'no' (spoiler alert: it is 'no'), you need to relax a bit, and stop jumping on anyone who disagrees with you.
