I been here since 18p, sold at 27p, bought back in at 36p. i am very enthusiastic of Sng, however I am in Nsci that released a very interesting Rns May 13th. Worth putting on your watch list if nothing else.
This ´ fruitbat is less worried about the results of the P2 as or major concern but more worried about being being doubled by the completion with a product already in production and a good safety profile .
Notnow, just filter the fruitbat! its the only way as he doesn't get the gyst of this BB and probably never will.
Notnow20 - From everything we know I'm convinced their will be efficacy, particularly when administered early after symptoms onset (within seven days of symptoms showing). That would be individually, as a stand alone drug. Their may well also be benefit as part of a triple drug treatment when the treatment is more advanced. In my view that is a little more uncertain. The vast majority of cases once we have established POCT (point of care testing) available should be treatable within that earlier timeframe of diagnosis. RM said achieveing 'conclusive' results is putting it strongly and difficult to achieve in clinical trials. Different patients, different levels of infection, age, underlying conditions etc etc. But, from all the research I have read about Interferon 1 people sick with Covid will receive a massive benefit from taking SNG001 especially when administered promptly from onset of virus. I fully expect us and potentially others to beat the recovery times mooted about Remdisivir. That alone would see huge potential for this drug as a treatment and a big uplift to the SP accordingly. Please DYOR and if you discover differently please let me know! :) GLA.
Appologies for putting my eggs into this basket but surely the whole point of investing ones hard earn cash into a stock is on the basis of information! SNG has history , science, intergrity and along with some very interesting and informative posts from both sides of the fence, it is then down to the 'investor' to make an informed choice based on information.
Granted there are the best minds on the planet searching for a solution but with out the fundamentals they have a long road to run.
My choice was SNG, based on the history of the product, the brains and science behind it and it's spectrum of what it could potentially do.
Based on all that I invested with a toe dip at .37p and more heavily .62p and I've been very happy to sit and wait for the results. The longer this has been going on the more I have been informed and educated I have become with the product. So much so I have sold stock last week and as soon as the transfers are complete I shall be jumping in again. Being from Southampton I'm very proud that the city is involved in such a potentially world beating product.
GLA and hopefully your patience is rewarded.
Nolupus,
i do appreciate a decent debate as much as anyone and i agree their are always two sides to an opinion but as i've said before your comments are not really balanced imo. Don't know if it is intended but they seem quite negative or irrelevant to this BB like the other drug link you posted earlier. Dont think ive ever heard you say anything pro SNG. I'm not talking about ramping either. We can all see the rampers and derampers especially on a big blue or heavy red day. I'm interested in the science of SNG plusses and minuses, im not that bothered about reading about drugs that are still in Phase 1 trials and have no efficacy. Indeed, you are talking about other 'coins' not even the one relevant to this board. Their will be other boards you could hang out on that would welcome discussion on novel and other therapeutic treatments. I don't like filtering but I may have too if you keep on going off topic and passing yourself off as the voice of reason when you are anything but. Thats like saying Donald Trump is a balanced, reasonable, humane human being :). Good weekend all! Lets hope next week starts the SP climb to the trials!!
paranoia along with not having set but wants the gains that comes with having a set.
If not Sng 001, surly canesten would make it go away lol.
But do you think that doctors prescribe this drug for children who have difficulties with LICE , haven't checked the safety issues first ?
Miggy,
On the contrary, I appreciate an open fair , and intelligent debate .
There are always two sides to a coin :-)
Well said scrab, my belief is the home trials will set SNG above the rest. Treatments within hospitals can be a competitive field. Home trials could benefit GPs and prevention being better than a cure would be massive market to impact second or third waves. All IMHO.
Speaking from my opinion, the hospital trial was to set a control group in place to limit the variables, external influences, etc. The at home trial then is up to the individual, with all the evidence from other trials on interferons this drug has plenty of potential. The virus first establishs. Mouth/throat area, then as the viral shedding occurs and as you start to experience symptoms it moves deeper into the respiratory tract, then potentially into other organs through the BLOOD, THIS IS IN MY OPINION AND WOULD BE HAPPY TO BE PROVED WRONG. By delivering to the point of infection and giving the innate immune response a boast, with being so far along the trial stage, surly Sng016 will be play a crucial part in the next phase with the government's test and trace, throw test, trace and treat in there defo a winning combo
Nolupus,
Don't worry about me my mind is very open. You don't seem to like being challenged on your opinions in my view. This is a SNG BB not one of the many other drugs you mention on a regular basis. You clearly didnt read the post you posted. The FDA have strong concerns about your latest drug being on fast track approval because of the side effects this drug has been proven to cause. Thats not my opinion its the FDA's ffs. Nothing to do with having an open/closed mind just the facts. All I can suggest is if you don't like your view being challenged don't post it.
From what I can see, I believe there is some question of the dosage which needs to be higher than has been previously used, though the increase appears to be tolerated.
At the moment it’s another product dependent, like us, on results.
On paper that is the case but in reality the only reason why ppl bought in lately is simply due to the virus.. so we need this to be effective against the virus, otherwise sp will be bk to 20p at best... i believe the team will be able to achieve its goal!
Nolupus
Thank you for the findings. Very exciting to see another drug performing in the fight against Covid19.
As you know the world will need a number of treatments to fight Covid19. I think last weekend you focussed on a Vaccine company and again thank you for bringing that to our attention. Your research into every drug but the one you are invested in is so valuable.
I am sure you will be getting excited about the potential for SNG001 to step up in the fight against Covid19. However as I am sure you are aware, for SNG001 it’s not just about Covid19, it’s also about COPD, Asthma and four other sectors highlighted as potential suitable targets to use SNG001.
Miggy,
Whilst you seem to be keeping a ´closed mind' mine is staying open .
This is a FDA approved drug for many conditions and has a very good safety record as established by many other clinical trials .
As with all drugs there may be some ´side effects' due to interactions with other medications thus the prudent warning from the FDA .
Keeping my eyes and ears open :-)
All 11 trials haven't finished recruiting or even started recruiting in some cases. All phase one as far as i can tell. Given the doubts over tolerance, like Hydroxychloroquine, I would be very cautious but as i say lets hope it works. Would you rather take that or SNG001 if you had Sars Cov 2.?
Sounds a little like the remdisivir school of testing. Very early stages with testing not under controlled conditions and no placebo used that i can see. Also noted: 'One reason the FDA is cautious is that the drug can interact with other medications, and in some cases can cause complications such as nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, dizziness, a sudden drop in blood pressure, liver problems and other side effects.'
Doesn't sound so good, and we know at the very least SNG001 is well tolerated in all trials its been in.
Keep them coming though Nolupus I like reading about them :).
Miggy ,
This is another link to read .... a bit of dodgy journalism but
https://www.newsmax.com/t/newsmax/article/968688?section=us&keywords=ivermectin-drug-virus&year=2020&month=05&date=22&id=968688&oref=www.lse.co.uk
Potentially a lot of repurposed drugs that will be investigated but like the one below they are the result of in vitro testing so not even out the lab yet as regards Sars Cov 2 testing. This is a long way behind SNG001. Doesn't make us more likely to succeed granted but I won't be losing any sleep regards that competitor. We need as many drugs work as possible in this fight but one of the things that drew me to SNG initially was inhaled delivery direct to the lungs were the drug is needed. Plus the reports now highlighting the fact that Interferons are heavily suppressed by the virus whilst cytokines are actively encouraged by the virus gives me lots more confidence. Because Interferon 1 treatment will increase the immune response by encouraging production of interferons to ailing patients whilst dampening down the cytokine storm by placing the brakes on the 'call the cavalry aspect' thereby reducing inflammation. The two part process by which this virus marks itself unique, lowering interferon production and raising cytokine production looks tailor made for Interferon 1 products such as SNG001. I personally haven't seen or heard of a treatment with as much promise, hence why i'm invested here. Good to be aware obvs of other treatments but 'the race' is not going to be won necessarily by the first to market but by the highest standard of testing and ultimately efficacy to a high standard.
We are all aware of the race that is going on to find treatments for Covid19 .
Many trials are ongoing elsewhere so it's important to keep an eye on what's happening also ´ outside Southampton ´
Here is one of the possible treatments to keep an eye on , imo
