"Now they say a small number of shareholders, but a small number of individual shareholders can have lots of shares. So perhaps Polygon?"
Yes, I'd have thought definitely Polygon.
I think the original idea was the ability to raise capital off the back of a successful EUA and trial. Now that’s no longer an option and shareholders just want to be able to look at any new share offer on its merits before allowing it to go ahead
Many thanks Wigster your efforts today and tonight are much appreciated
Fazer - the BOD originally wanted them on there but said something like “following discussions with a small number of shareholders, we felt removing them would be the right thing to do”.
Now they say a small number of shareholders, but a small number of individual shareholders can have lots of shares. So perhaps Polygon?
Yes, thanks all for your nice comments and for filling in some of the gaps :-)
So why have the resolutions in the first place, sorry if I'm being ignorant
The other key point for me
QUESTION: Why were resolutions 12 and 13 withdrawn?
ANSWER: SS: After discussions with various shareholders, it was felt that this would be a positive sign.
We don’t need to raise money, so wouldn’t need these resolutions, but removing them we felt would be a good thing to do.
Doc83 for Prime Minister I say, a very inspirational person, no doubt
Your efforts along with others are much appreciated Doc83
Thanks Graham. I recall you talking at the AGM. Was so much information to take in, I knew we’d miss something!
Let’s hope we are indeed being used (in trials) this winter.
And thanks all for the kind comments. I’ve found the board hugely helpful/interesting since investing in SNG, so it’s nice to give a bit back, even if it is effectively just transcribing the AGM!
It’s clear from the BOD commercialisation is at least 12months away. But once we’re on a trial
We’re no longer a lame duck waiting for someone to take pity on us
We have a much higher profile
Anything can happen in terms of great efficacy and termination of the trial early because of good data
JV or TO partner wanting to get in early before the P3 results are announced
He could have simply said yes I envisage that, but to come back and say he’s happy to strongly envisage that speaks volumes about where they are in discussions on a winter trial in my view
Happy days
Arhh yes, I agree.
Thought you'd possibly jumped the gun.
My bad
He did indeed mean in a trial which gains us more data, more profile and our route to commercialisation. A very very positive step
He meant in another trial, they were very quick to put the damperners on EUAs or commercialisation this winter.
For those who don’t always read all the way through the AGM update
Thanks to Graham and all for the updates
Q do you see Synairgen treating patients in a hospital either in the UK or USA this winter?
A RM I would envisage yes, I’m happy to say I strongly envisage we will be. Subject to ongoing discussions.
Happy investor here
