Jackman - yes still in. Taking more of a backseat now and was fishing on the tweed last week! Bliss. Was pretty uncomfortable with little or no phone signal tho. Internet wasn’t strong enough to even load Hargreaves! Good olde Scotland!
I’m in the all-in and not selling anytime soon camp
As a small LTH I saw the signals of the early SP rises in January/February but had lost too much in other AIM stocks to add then - but fortunately did add twice in March so I’m looking at a very useful profit.
I’m going to follow my LTH strategy which means do nothing ! This is an exciting investment - we all know the background inside/out - some luck is needed as regards the authorities who control the approval process but the product’s science isn’t in doubt.
Shut your eyes and it’ll come right !
If you consider the massive potential here, with imminent results from the Asthma, COPD and Covid-19 trials that would have a profound affect on people’s wellbeing, why would you not invest for the better of everyone. That’s why I’m here for the long term ( and many more investors I’m sure)......with an investment that give a fabulous return.
How often does that happen?
I bought in Feb, and like many here have held through some quite testing times, selling now is madness IMHO.
Newbie but staying to the end. Already learnt not to chase rainbows the hard way
I’m staying here til the end too.
This board seems a lot more serene today.
The stress of it got to me a bit. It's now a lot more to lose (on paper) than I'm used to playing with, plus more emotion attached to it than is healthy. It would be sensible to take some profits, but opportunities like this are rare.
So done a bit of gardening, quit drinking, been eating my greens etc. Had a good think about what happens if it doesn't work out. Fairly sure I can laugh either way.
The money isn't real until sold anyway. The psychological battle is only loss aversion vs FOMO and neither are rational. Backing the best science is rational. So holding the lot, until there is a good enough reason not to :)
Me also been in since 23p days - and absolutely not 'wavering'!
Reason being that MHRA emergency use approval is sure to be granted any day now? The trials were designed and executed with their full co-operation and approval. Better than expected results were delivered - and it has been said (by suitably qualified persons on ADVFN) that, given these results, it would be 'unethical' for MHRA to NOT give approval.
Surely this alone would be the catalyst for orders to start rolling in and to spark other countries around the world into similar action.
A more tenuous assumption - was Trump alluding to SYN when he was talking last night of therapeutics coming in 'days' that were not necessarily American?
I am hoping that MHRA approval is a given and will kick off a sequence of events (approvals, orders, takeover) that will be completed in the next few weeks, though I have no previous experience in such matters to support such a timescale.
Have over 700k shares and sitting chilled.
Made money on Novacyt trading 30% shares at 210p to 160p during their initial surges with FDA application. Saw it drop to 69p after the CEO Graham spoke facts of Nova in a interview (simple but honest guy like Richard) and held tight and added more the next morning. Sold out there early at 170p later before the £5 surge. No regrets as made enough profits picking at 45 to 65p initially.
Seen SYN drop to 33p and was not worried as the biggest hint was trial overseers did not stop in hospital study due to any concern and gave green light for at home trial almost unsupervised. That was a big yes for me.
Previously had posted a snap shot to show large holding of Syn in 1 ISA account at 223p few weeks ago with 800k profit.
Getting Journal like Lancet (where they will aim to publish) will take time as peer reviewers will have questions and ask clarifications to and fro. 4 weeks will be about right. EAU with any regulatory authorities will be similar or longer without a published full article.
If long and strong don't fret at gyration between base of 190p to 220p. Next rise will be around 350p. COPD study will be favourable after lessons learnt from asthma study. Bigger pharmas will be circling and big news may be in September.
Add me to the 'in til the end club'
It's easy to see who the gamblers are... a couple of decent days for the ftse and they can't resist selling out here for the beaten up ftse stocks instead.
Still here and topped up yesterday.. most of my purchases were in April and May between 55p and 75p, watched it drop but wasn't bothered as had done my research and I add with the help of some great input from posters here..
Will be holding until we see the COPD and home trials results. What SNG have developed simply is too compelling we just have to have patience until the regulatory authorities and scientific community do there thing.. GLA...
I think we have to be careful of ‘bubble stocks’, I don’t see Synairgen as that although COVID is a big part if it right now (wrt share price). We all know the potential beyond COVID.
Still here too, been really helpful to read posts from march onwards, also very supportive, thank you, I cashed in one of my funds, not a large amount but taking a chance, redundancy on cards, my picks were here and Genedrive, was going to split 50/50, felt Synairgen was the right one, so investment ended up about 90% Synairgen, did panic when Genedrive hit around £3.00 and this was still pence but all helpful posts from back then helped calm the nerves!! , did some homework and was convinced I had made right decision. The team here have worked so hard and they know what they are doing so my trust is with them totally, thank God there are dedicated people around like Synairgen... GLA
I was looking at this share when it was around 70p I watched it make its way down and jumped in at 54p and thought what great timing i had.
Then it fell to 35p area LOL
I’m still in too, good to see some of the old school checking in tonight. The share and volume has changed dramatically since mad Monday. I’m excited to see what three weeks hard work since has brought SNG. If we don’t hear this week regarding COPD then we have a 50% chance next week news will land. If it doesn’t land next week then we have 100% certainty last week of August (assuming SNG meet the August deadline) No way I’m selling. GLA.
I’m in till the end too. It’s interesting sitting back and watching the moods swing about in response to a few %.
I’m stunned at how stable this has been since results feels very solid.
I trust RM to deliver.
CW25 - Good to see you again! Am very much in the same boat as you - slightly lower figure - but very happy to hold. Must admit I am much less active here than pre results because all the emotions being demonstrated are very similar to previously and there’s not much reassurance to give to newcomers other than trust the SNG team and try to be patient easier said than done!
I am the same Everton222
Me three, holding all the way. Little risk here now, much less risk than most AIM shares still trying to develop products/drugs. Would I invest £500k now, no probably not, but when you average 38p it’s too good an opportunity to multi bag many more times again. 100% from here and it’s another 500% for LTH’s!! Not sure this opportunity will ever come round again to make big. And the world is not the same place it was 6 months ago. It needs this drug and governments need to move mountains to get this out to the masses and fast. GLA
I agree.
I am here to the end.
We are so close to news. I expect both COPD and Peer Review back to back.
Wouldn’t want to be out of this share this week !!!
Me too ..I’m holding ..let it play out
I will sell up all my shares when SNG001 is in the lungs of millions of people worldwide either helping to fight Coronavirus and/or helping COPD patients. Until that point, I hold.
