Bruerill - I was just curious I like to give people the benefit of the doubt... If someone says something I like them to provide some stats...
I'm sorry - his valuation? Of what exactly? San Leon's equity?!?! Seriously? What exactly in this digital ditto head's vast body of inanities and mindless screeds gives you the faintest impression that he is interested in (or let's face it, capable of) putting his mouth where his mouth is? You think this is someone who is going to violate a message board-lifetime of demagoguing by actually answering a substantive question with like, a number, backed up with like, you know, facts? Perhaps if he could find something to cut and paste from 'San Leon Did Something Bad So I Sue Them for $100B' in last week's issue of the extremely real ThisWasNigerianBizTodayBeforeItWasShutDownBytheRegulator.com. Otherwise, fuggedaboutit....
B7 - so why don’t you give us your valuation then?
The valuation of this company is far too high, note the stagnant SP,but it’s ur money and thus you may spend(gamble) as you see fit and I’m sure the non holding apologists can better advise.Gl
Agreed redeye.........I bought a few more myself this morning :)
follow the money.
Thanks for your comments PC01. Appreciated. I understand that some of these guys are known to the company and they troll post on a number of boards in different guises. Most if not all are relatively small time investors*, who have lost in this share's collapse. * As one poster here comments, you can see from their syntax that there were educational gaps (I gather one is an embittered former employee.) I suspect some (but maybe Sid-based multi Ids) may be linked in some way to a spread/short organisation but have no evidence of that. (this suspicion is just based on the premise of how sad do you have to be to keep posting as a loser year after year?) A lot of what they do is technically illegal and much of the time defamatory. I would far rather be discussing San Leon's forthcoming year!
I am 100% behind you Alaric...and thoroughly enjoy your aggressive repudiation of the nonsense spouted by some on here...I still remain unsure as to why non-investors want to spout arrant nonsense tho...there is no perceptible ‘short’ base...it’s a mystery!
As we saw last time Stephen54321, the full payment was slightly overdue. I think that's the kind of slack good business partners will cut. Clearly if there were any doubt whatever about this payment, the nomad would insist in an RNS being issued. None was last time and nor will there be one this time.
Yeah that’s exactly the point they never deal with. We all know the history of San Leon backwards but so what? From the moment we did the OML18 deal, the narrative here changed beyond recognition. Now two years on, with threats like Avobone and Sun Trust sorted, our current bank balance and news horizon are the envy of many AIM oilers. Of course I support this story, I’m a shareholder after all. If I didn’t like the story I would have sold and gone. It is very telling to me that too many of these ’squirrels’ acknowledge that they do not even hold stock in San Leon and that obviously poses a big question about their motivation in posting. I just wouldn’t have the energy to read and post here if I didn’t hold. So what fuels their energy? It has been a disgrace the way they have carried on for so long here. IMHO they deserve all the ridicule they have had heaped on them now and well done to all those who have heaped it. Please keep it up!
PC01, I fully acknowledge that I have not shown any mercy to the squirrels. Over time they have plagued this board with insinuations and threats, which are never substantiated or borne out by the facts. They do not even attempt to argue rationally made points with rationally considered answers. Nor is the growing list of errors of judgment by them on supposedly fundamental matters ( eg. Avobone, non payment of quarterlies, no return of money to shareholders, Sun Trust etc.) even remotely acknowledged by them. I have always admitted the significant historical shortcomings in performance by this company but, whilst not excusing these, they are not the yardstick to measure the investment case today with an SP of 26p, which discounts all these and more in my view. I have no problem at all with disagreement or with different viewpoints which are debated properly. What I won't tolerate is blatant agenda driven trolling.
I wish we woukd get our main owed payment as this is what will boost the sp and put these trolls to rest.
Is this the real life
Is it just fantasy
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
My god - nowt as queer as folk. And Afamefuna - given I am more generously spirited than dear Alaric please tell me you haven’t actually spent any of your hard earned Nigerian $$ buying shares - in anything?! Because I’m not sure you should be...
mr alaric why did you ask me such a question when you say there is no answer. you ask me a slippery question you said . i guess i wasn't expecting a real answer, as the question is of course unanswerable. but I still answered it with the truth and you dont even like the truth.
.. i guess i wasn't expecting a real answer, as the question is of course unanswerable. the fact that Sun Trust owned such a big shareholding in San Leon was always the fatal flaw in their arguments, as reported in the Nigerian press, which you and other z listers chose to believe and crow about on this board. all of it was complete nonsense from start to finish. the sad thing is that you really think its ok to serve up garbage here again as if nobody realises it. you are wrong (again) about that: you are now the butt of humour here. that suits me just fine, so do keep playing the clown
Afamefune - you are good at the copy n paste machine I’ll give you that - What I think Alaric has asked is how did STT come to own the shares in SLE? Once you solve that easy question - and promise me it’s an easy one ...then the whole idiocy of the ridiculous anti SLE posturing becomes clear to see.
Anyone seen Sister 8? Been a while?
mr alaric thank you for the floor this is my take on Sun Trust's shareholding in San Leon i belive it to be true. On 1 October 2018, the Company announced that Midwestern had entered into a binding agreement with SunTrust to acquire SunTrust's entire remaining holding in San Leon, being 71,487,179 ordinary shares (representing 14.29 % of the issued ordinary shares of the Company). As of that date 47,243,590 ordinary shares in San Leon (representing 9.44% of issued ordinary shares) had already been transferred to Midwestern. The Company has been informed by Midwestern that the subsequent balance is expected to be transferred in the near term, with a target date of completing the transfer by mid January 2019. i hope this helps you god bless.
now that really is funny, afamefunny! i just love the way you take no issue at all with my description of you lot as 'Sid's z list zombies'. if the cap fits wear it eh? - hilarious!! and as for your scoring, errhumm ..nice try but, if you hadn't noticed, the squirrels have been taking a bit of a pasting of late, mainly on account of their not using any reasoned arguments. reliance on B7's 'victoria sponge LOL' as a lead argument and on unsubstantiated stories appearing in the gutter end of the Nigerian press have further damaged credibility, if not comic appeal. just one more thing: you think my investment case and decisions are based on 3 days' prices? really? ps. would love to get your take on Sun Trust's shareholding in San Leon... so come on don't disappoint us, the floor is yours
Afaeffingwhatever, does that mean the z list who have not undergone gender reassignment have evolved or are evolving into snakes? Does that include the village idiots? Come on girls, that includes you black swan with your on edge hystericals and inability to see a good thing if it hit you in the bosom, hitch up your knickers and gather in yer crypt for a funpacked weekend of stitch and bitch. Don't forget your hormone therapy. Happy days LOL!
yeah funny that BS, but not laugh out loud funny (or B7 funny as we say on this board). more funny peculiar that all of Sid's zombies (z list) come out to play when the master takes a beating. and where's this leading to with Notore? - presumably you are now so concerned, you'll have to sell. shame that as you always professed to be a buy... and now when there is so much good news pending...how confusing! btw any thoughts on my Sun Trust poser? it didnt seem to get much of a response...funny that
mclean - Yes Yes some of us read all that last year - PWC has done the actuals which don't present a pretty picture of the past or of the future performance of the company - Notore did originally lay the blame for their poor plant performance on intermittent gas supplies inhibiting them from running the plant continuously at optimum temperatures over a 24 hour period - affecting their costs/output and income stream.
And another (utterly beside the point, but you know, I wanna) thing....10 quid says you wouldn't know a contingent liability if it kicked you in your furry behind.
Staggered, huh? By the contingent liabilities, huh? On page 25 AAAAND page 44?? And in yet another Mauritius(!) company (whatever the hell that means), that poses absolutely no risk to the one genuine humans on this board are focused on?!?
Somebody get this poor man a cup of tea and an accounting textbook. He's seems to be suffering from the vapours. Again.....
QF - well found and CJ your comments ref Notore Chemical Industries Annual report - 30 Sept 2018 - interesting if scary read another Mauritius company MMMM! - I was particularly staggered by their Contingent Liabilities listed in item 25 page 44 of the above document.
awkwardly mclean? ...just sounds plain desperate. btw. you notice none of these z list squirrels makes any reference to the now legendary Sun Trust 'case'...nor indeed to Sid's legendary lawyer who advised them? could it be that the legendary Nigerian gutter press, which they so loved to quote from, has left them all high and dry? surely not but they've gone awful quiet on this subject ( as indeed they did previously about Avobone...no matter how hard they throw it, none of their mud ever seems to stick). be good finally to hear their views on how it came to pass that Sun Trust had such a big shareholding in San Leon all along? answers on a post card, guys.
