DQE - fundamentally top company, this brokernote sums it up in short http://**************/shop/page-advice/action-advertorial.show/id-130017268 very few shares available to public, bout 80% held by majors- recently one major sold out- resulting in drop below 40p from just under 60p. At the time I bought in under 40p expecting a quick return to the 50- 60 mark, did not happen so i sold with small profit- was off my radar till now. Fundamentally one can't fault the comp- yet my concern/fear then was this- http://screencast.com/t/i0EBcFV2n9 straight line down in 2011 almost gives one the impression that it was shorted- then as the story of the major selling out played out- this trade of 25p appeared on L2 http://screencast.com/t/wg1wfnpF. next day it was gone- not showing on chart or in trades on advfn, couldve been just a glitch, but didnt want to ride the risk out. All said- fully agree with you on tech's, read it the same way- Double bottomed as well and holding the 40p level as indicators turn positive. Also very encouraging to see a buyer coming in on 13th of April snapping up chunks of 50k http://screencast.com/t/049CZrGSE - With results due now on 3rd of May, that buyer is in the know imo and got in well ahead. I can see this shoot up past 60- 70p on good results. Somehow however.. I'm still kind of wary- dunno why, so I'd only go in with small fry.
im short euro, short ftse (5787) and long gold currently what other positions are you guys holding into this week?
like your analysis on charts, four heads better than three. i called haik, emg and sxx last week so im on form. check out bzm and abg if you havent already. i like a tight stop buy on iof, what signal do you need monday morning to buy sixh?
wish you lot wud go to bed,no wonder i cant sleep..lol..
Thanks for the fundamentals update- as said on shft bb i only scanned quickly through rns's to get an idea of what sixh is about, your summary saves a lot of time digging deeper. What I like about this comp is that the business structure is sound- the drop in price followed by flatline was mainly due to external factors and not bad business practise. Very similar to the shft scenario- if one look at the recovery there, we could expect something similar here. This is another company that is unlike the oilers, miners and explorers- not dependent on "finds" for sp growth. Think sixh has got great potential. Final results out end July? Read through that link you gave me about the flatbase- makes a lot of sense! Also as usual- good observations re the tech's of SIXH - will keep an eye on it on monday as well. IOF i will still give a week but not much more- price can actually break out of wedge this week coming. TSTR - our "sitter" lol.. news this week? seems they dressing up for the party- new website, proper brokernote out etc. volume and price picked up a bit on friday- guess it will continue this week in anticipation of news- if not released early. Your take?
9% rise today.Wonder why? Anyone any ideas?
Hope so i am well down on these my average is 30p , have you heard any news on how things are going?
Lasers and machine tools are among the engineering products made by 600 Group. The company has borne the brunt of the recession, incurring two years of losses before moving into the black for the first six months of the current trading period. Its core markets are beginning to recover, exemplified by its order book up by one third from the period last year. The shares appear worth investigating. Buy, says the Scotsman.
SIXH tipped again today in the FT by David Schwarz, he must like this company or he's doing a spot of ramping.
Good long term play - renold also doing OK. less said about some of his other tips the better - AKT, CRG!!!
Tipped by David Schwarz in FT News at weekend lol.
like chan mentioned in nov 2007 about a takeover, speculation may now be rekindled again since 600 has just bought in a new CEO who has previously been involved in a MBO. SP does seem quite depressed, i wouldnt be surprised if the CEO tries to find a buyer and sell the company somewhere in the region of 50p
Some good news here and under consideration for a Takeover. Open eye on this one!!!!!!
