POG 1870 yesterday....up today at 1880...just now spiked to 1890....
meanwhile SGZzzzzzzzz
Phil Day in his interview focused upon stability, consistency and predictability. Looks like the latter has slipped already as far as concentrate delivery goes, unless they are keeping it quiet. I wonder how the other two aims are getting on? With at least 80% of shares in 'sticky' hands, I'm sure Samson is right in that the market (like PR!) is not a high priority. I'm sure we will hear soon, so fingers crossed for good news!
HAND to all, R.
believe this has happened..
I’m a patient bloke, however( posh word for but) I’m getting slightly Peed off by the lack of good shareholder relations with Scotgold. If they've shipped the concentrate then rns it. We aren’t asking for route and timings . So long as what we’ve chipped in towards is actually happening I think we would be generally happy. Everything seems to be shrouded in mystery and waffle. Not too much to ask really.:-(
PD over to you to provide an update and commence building some confidence and trust.
Meanwhile POG $1860.
Maybe meeting targets after the regime change is now so run-of-the-mill that OF COURSE it doesn't need to be publicised - an everyday occurrence. Still, a photograph on the website or a tweet wouldn't have hurt.
3650+ days bitten, once shy:- I double-checked "2021" was written after "the second week of May".
Good morning all,.here is my take on it. If some gold has been released to the jewellers then it is a disappointing amount and they have learned from the ''gold pour'' fiasco to shut it.Also in their new frame of mind they know that us canny auld yins wouls extrapolate the the figure to work out how much gold was in the concentrate shipment. They have not said how much was expected to be in the concentrate in case of huge disappointment. They have learned a bit late in the day not to be gung ho with dates or figures and we have learned late in the day to believe f/all.
Steelwatch1, Happy 50th wedding anniversary soon. I wonder how long Baz's missus will have to wait for her ring?
I doubt that day to day operations require an RNS, but as Samson, BP and Bellers say, one would think that first dispatch of first concentrate and/or Scottish gold to refiners would be announced, even if on Twitter (if someone can remember the password!) or PA Investor as a matter of good PR.
Such would brighten up a grey, misty, and drizzly day near the Yorkshire coast, but they may wish to wait until dispatches become deliveries for commercial/security reasons and the day is not yet over.
Yayay, Then again, Monday will come,.......sometime!
A good weekend to all here, R.
That is a very good way of putting it, Samson. Ten years many of us waited, progress being made at a pace which made the average snail look like Usain Bolt. But at least it was incremental progress, however slow. Now, on a daily basis, we almost don't know whether to expect spectacular success or total collapse.
Good morning from a drab South Yorkshire. I’m with you BlakeneyP. An rns saying concentrate is away to the refiners would be good. They should take every opportunity to be positive now. Unless......
Hello again everyone,
This is what I was thinking about: "The Company is pleased to note that the Cononish processing plant has continued to operate throughout April. As previously announced, reaching the point of commercial production has taken longer than planned, however the Company is on track to make its first shipment of concentrate product expected to be made in the second week of May 2021."
That sounds separate from our premium product lol that would make up your anniversary ring, steelwatch1, doesn't it?
Won't that 'first shipment of concentrate product' (or indeed missing the target date) merit or necessitate either an announcement or RNS?
I have it on good authority that a "small amount" of genuine Scottish gold has been released to the jewellery trade enabling some outstanding orders to be fulfilled. My wife's 50th anniversary ring will be in the post, special delivery, to arrive Monday.
Hi BP.
Or you wait until Monday (or later) to get the word, or on bonfire night, the £2m loan gets converted into shares (at a favourable price) for the BoD+1! Any advance on the above would be an improvement on meeting expectations for SG. Fingers crossed!
GLA, R (not Rodders).
Tomorrow must see either a shipment of gold or an announcement to say that it's been delayed - is that correct?
Secondly, is it safe to assume that - acknowledged that this is a big proviso - provided everything goes to plan as per the most recent announcements, by early November we will have mined and sold enough product to a) pay back the £2 million director loan b) meet all other spending commitments?
If the above is right then even the short-term future should be golden, and by this time next year........
