I hope so Terry. Bombardier are boasting about having the most advanced ****pit . They have a HUD but perhaps should also complement that with eye tracking in order to stay in front!
The Global 5500 and 6500's ****pit has Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion avionics, including an "enhanced vision system" (which provides infrared images of the outside world via a head-up display) and a "synthetic vision system" (which provides computer-generated images).
Pilots can choose between synthetic or enhanced vision, though Bombardier is working with Collins to roll out a combined vision system that will mesh the images into a single display.
"We still have a couple of things in the bag that are going to be coming up," says Boudreault. "We believe today that we have the most advanced ****pit."

I would be shocked if we not got something on the boil.

Chris
Nice find, will look more into that one for sure.
Your doing the right thing being distracted from living in SEE world.
Apart from dribbling, shaking, loosing eyesight, rocking back & forth and murmuring to myself i dont think being a SEE shareholder is interesting.
back to 1 v 1....there's a seller...
i'm signin' off - tedium
These share awards seem to precipitate a fall every time. I hope news is forthcoming on the aviation front that will push the SP up again.
I see Thales are in the news for their wearable HUD?
https://aviationweek.com/nbaa-2019/thales-brings-topmax-wearable-hud-market
Is this in any way similar to what we're doing in aviation? I am not really up with this as I should be, though I started a new job fairly recently and it's perhaps better for me that I am no longer constantly looking at these boards lol
2 v 1 - CSTE stepped up - better than 1 v 1
1 v 1
we're going down @:(
Berenberg on the offer...he may have some to shift though when the order is in 100k batches it's difficult to tell
Seeing
Thanks for that. Have they updated it?
I was looking at past RNSs when this one dropped and read it within a few seconds. Iam pretty sure the words financial year wasnt there as i read it twice.
If it was there from start then not only do i need specsavers, SEE is sending me dolally aswell.
In this discussion it may be useful to consider what Paul said in the Proactive presentation @ 26mins regarding deals and news etc.

Terry it says
"In line with Seeing Machines' usual practice of conducting annual reviews of performance and remuneration, the awards made pursuant to the STI scheme are based on performance for the 2019 financial year"
So 2019 financial year is year ending 30th June 2019.

Schlem
Still not clear to me, some numpty needs to write the details properly 2019 is all it says, so how know which year they 100% talking about?
I wonder if they have bouncers booked for meeting?
Totally agree with alot thats said.
Performance rewards are for performance. So start performing.
Hope a few are sharpening their pencils for the meeting. To pen some very nice Questions.
I will stick to the no ones thats stupid mentality as todays cant be the only RNS to arrive before the meeting.
It was noted earlier that the Corporate Governance page had changed today. From my saved archive I see that the following line was removed from the bottom...
For detailed information about Seeing Machines’ Remuneration Policy, click here to access a letter from Jim Walker, former Remuneration Committee Chair.
It would be good to get an idea of what this remuneration policy now is. It feels a bit sly that they've removed it today and then dished out free shares.
y/e June 2019 as opposed to CY2019 - I see where you're coming from now...mixing dates up
cheers fella
Sch, you are missing the point. News in FY20 (regardless of how big) does not justify a performance related award for FY19.
If Nick had delivered a big OEM win in FY19, VAG or Toyota I would say "well deserved", but factually he hasn't and Paul should be focusing on rewarding the shareholders as his number one priority not the under performing staff.
#Team300
Yes, but Paul's in charge now not Ken. Paul's come in with a new broom. I don't believe he's gonna tarnish his reputation which is why I think news is around the corner to justify today's RNS...again, it's all speculation on my part and anyway it keeps my spirit up to believe such positive things
"I'm sure we're gonna get some news to justify these awards..."
Historical evidence suggests otherwise! They've given share awards just prior to raising funds for missing targets. You can read nothing into this RNS except them being greedy.
Ironically, I see this RNS as a positive and a harbinger, he says with fingers tightly crossed behind his back!
Oh, I see your point.
Why release this news NOW? We have the CMD early November. I'm sure we're gonna get some news to justify these awards...these types of share-freebies issuance stink of 'pocket lining' and corporate abuse and Paul will know this and the message today's RNS will send out so to counteract this accusation he'll hit back with fresh news on new contracts...that's my hope anyway!!
A couple of things Just Eat has increased its market valuation by a billion pounds today its market cap now at over 5 billion. on a profit that see could be doing in the future. also regards Hyundai and the level 2.5 option I think that's going to be the norm for quite a long while yet. good find Terry, if as Schlem says preparing for a takeover they better take into account that order book past and what's gonna be penciled in in the coming months. like I say we are a ten proven company with 20 yeas experience and proven products working with household names valued at 32 times less than Just eat.
My inference is over excessive share awards for under performance, I thought that might have stopped with the new guard but same old story.
If we have won any contracts since July then that would count for FY20 free shares, so whether its announced or not its not why he got 2.8m free shares.
Personally I am in favour of a long term incentive scheme to retain and reward key staff, however it should be performance related and linked to shareholder value. We had negative SHV in year ending FY19 and Nick did not deliver the OEM wins to his own timescale, so imo the LTIP should not have paid out, or the targets are too soft.
#Team300
It would be illegal for SEE to have won contracts without announcing them via RNS in a timely fashion (normally 1 day).
S20 - Is the inference that they have secured new contracts but the market hasn't yet been informed?
