Something in the air?
Posted after-hours today. Someone just spent over £3m - I wonder who? Tosca upping their stake again? Should be a RNS in the next day or two.
If it heads below 50p, it's bearish, but needs to move ahead of 60 for it to be bullish. At the moment the market is undecided on SDY, something which began in Dec 2016 and hasn't been resolved yet. GLA.
Don't know what's up with me posting Pound Signs into this box (Works for me elsewhere!)? I see someone else has posted them into this sites done it OK. Oh well. (:-)
I never like to see exceptional charges but think share price doesn't reflect what the 1/2 year results will be. Revenue up 7.5% Margins up due to better sales mix Overheads controlled Debt down despite decent capex spend this half Financial expenses down Excellent run rate into 2nd half. Hoping to see shares at 70p before Xmas Only medium term worries are; UK economy & scope for long term growth The dreaded HSS merger talk - hope this is avoided like the plague.
The 's where OK in post box but changed after posting? Strange a finance site changes to ? (Or maybe it's just being profoundly prophetic?)
Hi All. RNS Number : 0943R Speedy Hire PLC 19 September 2017 Trading update trading update ahead of publishing half year results for the period to 30 September 2017, scheduled for 14 November 2017. Group revenues for the period to 31 August, excluding disposals, are approximately 7.5% ahead of the prior year primarily due to growth in services revenues. Utilisation rates for the year to date have averaged 54.5%, an increase of c.6% over the corresponding period in the prior year. Net debt at the half year end is expected to be below 70m (30 September 2016: 85.4m). Overheads in the period are expected to be broadly consistent with the prior period. As part of the Group's ongoing efficiency programme, further action has been taken this month to manage the Group's cost base and, consequently, the number of operating divisions and distribution centres has been reduced. These actions will result in overhead savings of at least 3m per annum. Net exceptional costs of c.4.5m are expected to be recognised in the first half year. Adjusted profit before tax for the full year is expected to be well ahead of the prior year and slightly ahead of the Board's previous expectations. Speedy Hire's upbeat update sparks new HSS merger talk (ShareCast News) - Speedy Hire reassured investors that its turnaround strategy was gaining traction and that full year profits will be ahead of target as services revenues [19 Sep 17 SP moved 50-54p on this news. Hargreaves Lansdown showing 75% (by volume) strong buys today. Any talk of mergers even if it does not happen raise interest in share as well. It's going well at SDY, steady SP rise from here. [:D <- With happy hat, lets be nice to each other. (;-D < - Normal hat. LOL By the way does anyone think LSE will get a Https SSL Certificate for this website at some time to protect login password etc?
Bored
You frigg about with this when there's UKOG..! Fool.
I enjoy the sport, my portfolio is very healthy and if you think you can tell me what to do you are deluded. I said plant had to go, it has. Wait and see what's next.! Your insults reflect your pathetic mindset, I have no interest in your business because it is none of my business and my business is none of yours. I'm sat in the Sun 7 days a week and retired at 32 and I won't buy a pencil from your cup.
TALKINGDROSS So we're all lame fools when you openly brag about investing your cash and selling it for less than a 16th of the value last month? Talking dross is all you do with predictions that never materialise (not even close) and idiotic claims of buying low and selling high when the facts tell us otherwise. If you want to salvage any form of usefulness from the diarrhoea that you insist on plastering all over this board, let us know next time you're going long, we'll all go short and retire early. Please, please, please, no more of your brown stuff on this board!!
you are filtered
That was fun.! The board of lame fools. This won't hit a £ for another 5 years.
You couldn't hit water if you fell out of a boat..!
so you bought in at 1p, then it dropped to 0.5p, then it got consolidated 400 to 1 and you think you got a good deal selling at 22p? and you think you're clever?? I'm bored with the drivel now so please go and invest elsewhere if SDY is as bad as you make it out to be with your false claims that never materialise.
I've hit a nerve?
And what exactly is your point.! How many informative posts and how many good mornings.! Jesus wept.
Member since Wed, 27th May 2015 and not ONE post on DOR only sdy?{:--)))
DOR at 20.5 this morning, you're not as smart as you think, man or a mouse..! Squeak up.
DOR purchased @ one pence lol. Sold last month @ 22 lol. As for SDY wait and see what's round the corner..!!!
We won't miss you! I see you were invested in DOR a couple of years ago, do your own research of course, but avoid anything related to David Lenigas and you'll be a lot less bitter about your investments.
Over 5 years of growth, fact. The numbers/charts don't lie. I don't catch falling knives, until next year, BYE.
Deramper {:--))
it was actually Thursday, you're obviously not in the know as much as you think you are. The SP is driven by sentiment in the market place, if Speedy can sustain the growth, and the fundamentals still stack up, sentiment will return.
