ONLY number 50 - Jeez he must be suicidal - life's not worth living LOL
*-)
Thanks Dibs61! :-)
If you google search for 'DNA Sequencing' SBS comes up second in the search. ;-)
He is a well known investor in the small/mid cap growth company sector. Check out no.50 in the list attached. http://www.growthcompany.co.uk/features/1680433/top-50-movers-and-shakers.thtml
Sorry to be ignorant, but can I ask who is Richard Griffiths? Thanks
Richard 'moneybags' Griffiths of AST fame has just massively increased his holding.
Whichever way you look at it complete chart breakout now - see 1 year chart and short term. Finished at high of the day. Looks like an order being filled as a number of sell trades haven't budged the price this afternoon. My hunch is the market is waking up to this and, in particular, the Vindon deal is being looked upon as something of a game changer.
http://www.nottinghampost.com/pound-1m-contract-STD-testing-boosts-Source/story-20103435-detail/story.html "The company's performance looks set to be boosted substantially long term following the £12m acquisition of Vindon Healthcare which allows access to new markets and customers, and offers a platform for international growth."
hi pablo2 - thanks - I'm invested here because I see a great future for personal medicine which is closely linked to diagnostic services which is core to SBS. The bit I'm particularly keen on is the DNA sequencing space which is surely going to continue to expand exponentially as the concept of personal medicine takes root in the healthcare profession.
Doesn't take long to look back at 'All the Posts' on here. At 50 a page there's only 4 and a bit pages. Dibs see you're in from 9th May and you're about 30% up now - nice. Apart from a bit of interest from Riddler and co around Feb '12, there has been little or know chat on here. May change but it'll probably stay fairly low key while the company get on with their work. GL
You look to be on the money with your assessment. Been in here for years and it's virtually never gone down just hardly ever gone up - lol. As far as I remember our main business is DNA sequencing : 'Our market share in the UK continues to increase and DNA sequencing volumes during Q3 were 70% greater than the same period last year and up 47% on a year to date basis.' Not enough hours in the day to research everything we do, but reckon we're doing it well.
Best day here that I can remember! Chart breakout by the looks. Rerating on the cards.
Got to be coming on to a few radar screens now it's 9.3% up on the day - it's Number 16 on today's Top risers.
i agree to ,this company is so undervalued they perform year in year out ,next year will be there year when new accusitions come on board with figures,
hi pablo, oh yes indeed. Such an overlooked share. I love these kind of companies. Get in quietly, build up holding at subdued levels and wait…… ;-)
Strong looking results - profits on track; cash good; integration of new businesses progressing; opportunities increasing worldwide. Oh Yes (quietly)
Concur 100% Widebody.
Hello, what's not to like about this share, quite BB, good BOD, steady upward trend on charts, good products coming through. regards.
my broker just offered me 20,000 at just under 11p if i wanted it ,so there is stock
I do believe they are here... Can't get any over 5,000 without going to NT. This well off the radar.
SP progress here. Going by the 1 yr chart we may hit resistance at this level as 10.75-11.00 was a previous long term support but we'll see.....
At long last. Good to see Laurie Turnbull showing confidence by putting his hand in his pocket.
