Results are due approximately 19/03/2014. ;) Expecting a tick up to two in the build up.
expected another move up ,results should be soon ,i think march
Looks like following the very gentle pullback from 14p we now have decent support @ 13p. Until the next inevitable leg up. Check out the chart, very nice.
Narrow spread but still no liquidity in this share. I have a nominal investment here but definately think there needs to be more interest in what appears to be a solid stock.
Source BioScience has expanded its market leading DNA sequencing service in Ireland with the official opening of its new laboratory in Tramore, County Waterford. The opening was conducted by John Perry TD, the Minister of State for Small Business, cutting the ceremonial ribbon alongside the Mayor of Tramore, Councillor Blaise Hannigan. The new laboratory is key to the growth of Source BioScience’s DNA sequencing service in Ireland. The Tramore laboratory is strategically positioned between Cork and Dublin, providing an opportunity to expand the Overnight Shipment™ service to all areas of the country, enabling customers across Ireland to access their sequencing data within 24 hours. The DNA sequencing laboratory complements Source BioScience’s existing controlled environment storage facility in Tramore, which provides IMB certified, GMP accredited stability storage at all ICH conditions, custom stability conditions and -80°C ultra-low temperature storage to customers in Ireland. Source BioScience designs and manufactures its own stability storage rooms and cabinets, ensuring the highest specification and service standards. Nick Ash, CEO at Source BioScience, commented: “The investment demonstrates our long term commitment to Ireland. The country has a vibrant and growing life sciences and pharmabiotech industry, with some of the biggest names in the world located here. Tramore is a friendly community which supports local business and is a great place to work. We are delighted to be a part of this prosperous, growing region.”
This will go up surly......no doubt about it....great value as it has solid fundamentals.....
Dummy trade I can sell for 13.96 and buy for 14.1p
Very much enjoying the steady solid progress of the SP here. No hype. No froth. Just gradual nibbling away by buyers and edging up the price. Perfect. Sssssh.
Yes I suppose they do look like 2 massive sells but at not really much discount so I wouldn't be too sure. That Richard Griffiths takes his time reporting - Jan 7th trading, but he's up another 1.4m shares.
Another whopping sell (by the looks) but again the price doesn't budge. Order being filled? Richard Griffiths again?
Richard Griffiths increasing his stake here to 8%. Interesting. Also, massive sell (by the looks) this morning and the SP hasn't flinched so shares must be being mopped up somewhere. ;-)
Also 3 X average volume today - 767k against 251k according to the FT.
Reckon that shareholders list is a bit out of date. Holdings RNS on 26th Nov was about Seren Capital and Richard Griffiths. Seren Capital Management Limited 20,311,315 Blake Holdings Limited 3,250,000 Richard Griffiths direct holdings 250,000 Total 23,811,315 - (That figure equates now to 7.6%) The above undertakings are all controlled by Richard Griffiths Also from RNS 30th Sep, the new total shares in issue is now ----- " The figure of 312,873,965" so the SBS website is way out-of-date. Think we issued 100m new shares when we bought Vindon Healthcare last year. For your shear enjoyment I conclude with statements from the Nov 19th Interims : "The acquisitions of Vindon and Inverclyde bring significant opportunities to the Group, both from additional products and services and the extension of the Group's reach geographically. We now have access to new markets and customers, and we have a platform for international growth across mainland Europe, in addition to the East and West coasts of the USA. We expect all of these factors to contribute to the further progress of the Group in 2014 and beyond." Brilliant!
Chuffed with this. A rock steady share since I've bought in. Todays rise is the biggest and most impressive yet. Chart is looking excellent. Volume substantially up on average. Definitely more buying interest. I agree with other comments I think this will get taken out sooner or later with the advent of personalised medicine.
a lot of institutions feel same as me ,price is expected to double 2014 to 25p ,so a nice rise expected ,not many shares on open market so you haveto pay to get them and no one sells many so unless any unseen bad news downward pressure imo very small

ive been in longer ,when company use to be called medical solutions ,they had no direction then ,but company now imo run really well ,and there main asset is the millions of dna files they have which would be a massive plus to one of the big companys on delevoping new drugs
He's definitely the chief suspect for sustained buying - Mr. Deep Pockets, he's still waiting for his Ascent Resources cash in though. Been in this share for 3- 4 years now and don't think I've hardly ever been down - maybe they are gong to motor now, takeover??
This share virtually never goes down but it doesn't go up 5.77% either. Summat's up!
i agree with you that probably will be the catyalyst to make this move where it should be ,when they can start to pay a dividend , so far the last 3 years that have made excellent decisions from big losses to rising profits ,,
Hmmm Quote " "Our ambition is to become Europe's leading commercial provider of DNA sequencing" Leading does not always mean profitable of course. However, given the acquistions SBS have made, they have got to be going somewhere - hopefully upward. But this still has to be handles correctly - too many companies grew too large too quickly or beyond economic sense I long for the day they start paying dividends - then the share price should rise dramatically IMO
Yes a modest upward movement. As I've said so many times before, completely off the radar of most yet a stock with such fantastic potential demands more attention! Already a solid growing acquisitive company with steadily rising revenue and profits. What I'm really here for though is DNA sequencing. Note this quote from the interim statement in November: "Our ambition is to become Europe's leading commercial provider of DNA sequencing"
