Lovely area istie our dad used to take us to the old matchums banger racing when all you had separating you from cars was wire cable, great times. We've just come back from iow cycling round it, never again too many steep hill s 7hrs Thursday riding
Hi rayboy
We live in Ringwood and I ride out from near Moyles Court, to Ibsley Common, Rockford Common, Abbotswell and down to Linford Bottom. Weather too rubbish for first ride but going out later. Weather just a bit to pants this morning for first ride.
Istie
When and if indeed - I am a big fan of top-slicing - having got into Sareum as a gamble £1600 at 0.6p and seen it multiply ten fold - I top-sliced at 5.4p (around£4500 ) initially watching the sp retreat before returning to its 9.5p high - I have seen similar before - a sure fire thing that's going to make a million (NCYT/OMI/SNG/AVCT) where I have been fortunate enough to ride the wave and (mostly) getting out good by top-slicing - individuals ramping about what they are going to spend their fortune on - only to see the SP disintegrate - a top-slice and free ride is your friend :P
I liken bb's to a football supporter group - everyone has an opinion - usually relating to their team being the best thing since sliced bread (sometimes they are even right !) - anyone who raises doubts about their teams ability gets shouted down by the crowd - it's even comforting when things DO go wrong because the bb becomes a bit of a support group - with may sharing your woes at bad performance - and the occasional wise-guy telling you they knew it would all end in tears.
In relation to AIM stocks - I figure I am more a gambler than an investor - novice investors should remain aware that contrary to the majority opinion apparent on any BB - that this is NOT a sure-fire thing - much of the sp rise is on speculation - a bad RNS could kill this share in its tracks - (yes and a good one and it may multiply again) you pays your money you takes your choice
Disappointed with my decision to top-slice - yes, sort of - but I am comforted that my remaining shareholding (200,000 approx £13k) is on a free ride - even if the SP goes to zero then I am in profit - will I be disappointed to see the SP go to zero - yeah sure - but there's a point where the "gamble" becomes real-money rather than a paper gain - to me £13k is somewhat substantial - but greed has kicked in and the prospect of a quid a share, to me, would be somewhat lifechanging - nerves will no doubt kick in again when the value hits £25k and several intervals upwards - where I may well rinse and repeat.
Yeah I am still cheering for the SAR team - I hope it goes to the moon - but if by chance it doesnt - then am I actually bovvered ?
Every investor has his own agenda - do your own research ask yourself at what price you will exit, what %ge profit you would be happy to get out at TODAY - above all - GAMBLE ONLY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE !
GLALTH - c'mon you SAREUM !
i read your book thoth. pretty good. have to admit i scanned it
What part of newforest I live in Dibden purlieu
An exciting day tomorrow. I have two rides out across the New Forest early morning which I am looking forward to. Oh, and I almost forgot, also looking forward to see the SAR price when I get back about 1100. Not even going to check the phone on horse back except for my distance, speed and pace tracker.
Good luck everyone
WIP ... good plan. I tend to keep away during school hours ... also if no one engages with the idiots they will have no one to argue with except themselves ... remember you can't teach pork but you can cure it.
Hi WIP - I saw a newspaper headline earlier today saying there are something like 1.1m people in the UK with long covid. There are also calls for it to be classed as a disability.

Best wishes for your recovery,
Hotblack.
Even this weeks high of 9.5p+ (although briefly) is still a great entry price given the multiple news flows due. Ive been in for years (too many) but even if I'd got in at 8p or 9p I'd be happy, knowing it could well be many multiples of that in a months time
GLA for this coming week, going to lay a little low during school hours to:
Allow me to walk as much as possible to shift long covid
Avoid the bickering derampers between the hours of 8am and 5pm (even though they are all filtered anyway)
Lets me look forward to an evening catch up of the regulars and proper research
See why jumbo wotsits and A Place In The Sun are such a winning combo
I've tried twice to topslice (sell/buy-back) and lost shares due to good news (further rise) and ill-liquidity + wide spread. Not sliced on Sar, but if I do it will have to be a good price as not likely to be motivated by cheap buy-back - twice bitten is enough teeth marks for me.
But there is the proof of their agenda, they do not join the conversation out of trading hours, telling us what a bad stock we are in, giving good researched reasons why. No, they come here once up and trading, giving no useful information what so ever, like a tag team, taking turns to bash away. The great thing about that though, most often it's only the stocks worth buying that get such attention, trying to pull back the price, for purpose of accumulation at a lower entry. I'm sure i will be seeing many a green box tomorrow....Bring it on
Thanks Thoth. I'm too much of a coward at this stage of the SAR 'impending news flow' to topslice as I know I'd mess things up and lose out. If I can't get rich with 2.2m shares then I don't deserve it!

Hot black desiato. Look at it. We have already lost a lot of topslicers. Charts dont repeat but they echo. For years i have thought this is our echo.
