We're at 160 because someone took 10m shares out of the free float. Lets hope he holds them longer than us.
Would have said you'd get your 390 no problem as things improve and I've always thought the 6 quid incentive for the board would get hit one way or another because directors incentives always do. But now if things are done to split then presumably we have to take a hit on the ultimate return because someone else is coming in. How bad that is we will have to see?
Meant to say 380. -390p
"I seem to be good at losing shed loads of money. I really would have been better spending it on fast cars and loose women. Hey ho, such is life."
Aspers, same here would have better off just putting my money in the bank, as by the time I learned that, I now too old to have the fast cars and loose women. Hindsight is wonderful thing...still holding and hoping I get my original target 80-90p....
Rupans………so if Billzo is such a star in your eyes and he constantly called this to drop below £1 tell me dear boy why are we now sitting a tad off 160p
If that is the advice you take quite honestly you are welcome to it.
From my point of view Bilzo made very good points in the past and I hope he continues to post and indeed the SP almost made his target. I think aspers was luck with his prediction in the end, not from any info he had but because Saga is way undervalued. This is simply proved by the fact if they do a bit of moving money around and rearrange a bit of financing the SP rockets
Rouge…………To be fair you are right. I have in the past made some pretty poor investments and to be honest Saga has been one of them. I seem to be good at losing shed loads of money. I really would have been better spending it on fast cars and loose women. Heyho, such is life. I will now leave you all in peace.
Rouge…………..Whaterver 👌
Oh dear. Ok.
Aspers look, my personal opinion on this is that I value contrary views. I don't filter them. I call out sheet if I think its there but , back in the day old Smorty made me laugh and he was better than me at crafting Saga based lyrics from old songs (well it was Covid...). He was roundly attacked on here (Thomson that's you), but he was honest when he was short and when he went long and when he got out, citing the debt. Funny that-I think I've heard that recently??
Billzo has stated his opinion and stated the basis. He hasn't just said "my research says its wonderful". If it hadn't been for Babu we would have seen the £. Or are you saying you knew about that all along?
Amazing how someone who almost boasts how much he's lost on other shares wants to be taken seriously on this one...
billzo……..do not worry my friend, no obsession here from me. just reminding you of the total *******s you posted in the past as you tried your best to put this share down. maybe you are the one that is obsessed coming back here all the time when you are nit even invested…….fud
The sheer stupidity and obsession with me is embarrassing. As for the analysis, coming from someone who hasn’t actually done any or shared anything, I’ll take your comments with a pinch of salt.
Appreciate you reminding me to never underestimate how stupid people can be, thanks
Bilzo……..great news old bean keeping your analysis to yourself. After all, your constant calling this below £1 was never that smart. Good luck though with your investments.
Lol, it’s all very interesting, looking forward to the trading update. Company has been shafted by mismanagement so understanding the direction of travel for the business is key.
As always I’ll pour over the detail but don’t worry, I’m tired of being trolled by some idiots on this board so I’ll keep my analysis to myself. All I’d say is the Dubai buys have propped up the share price over the last month or so, which for LTH’s I’m happy about!
Sorry, Should read ‘But the share price’
Agreed at the share price will need to get to £10.40 just for me to break even, so I think I'll be suffering for a lot longer or even forever😊
All quiet here.
Hopefully the long suffering will be rewarded...
Billzo, you're index finger must be twitching in anticipation!

I like the story outlined in the rns today a good saga!
Nothing new, except it is ships. Happens all the time in business, eg buildings / assets sale and leaseback, supports the business in the short term and makes matters easier to control.
So, in layman’s terms, looking at selling the ships and then leasing them back? Thereby avoiding debt repayment lump sums and creating fixed running costs?
Saga plc (Saga or the Group) notes recent media coverage. Saga is committed to providing best-in-class products and services to its customers across all its businesses. The Board is exploring opportunities to optimise Saga's operational and strategic position in Cruise, where exceptional demand for its boutique ocean cruise offer means it is operating at close to capacity. It has concluded that a partnership arrangement for Ocean Cruise would be consistent with Group strategy to move to a capital-light business model to support further growth and crystalise value, reduce debt and enhance long-term returns for shareholders.
No decision has yet been made and there can be no certainty that any partnership agreement will occur. A further announcement will be made in due course, as appropriate.
The Abu Dhabi connection is beginning to make sense.

BREAKING NEWS ON SKY NEWS
The over-50s travel and insurance specialist could outsource the operation of its two ocean cruise ships under plans being explored by its board, Sky News learns.
Next weeks trading update is going to be Really Interesting !!!
Will sir Roger be happy about losing the ships from Folkestone?
At £360 per diem, these ships should be the most profitable in the UK, yet they barely will make £30-40m EBITDA pa each. It would be better to sell the entire business to someone who can leverage it and increase the fleet size. Saga management are too incompetent to get anything right.
Bilzo…….you still here waiting for £1 old bean?
