With all these unnecessary ad hominem attacks, this board is going downhill as fast as the SP is going up (hopefully!).
To be honest, I think a relatively busy board like this one would indeed be a better place if it were better organised, and it’s not OCD at all to say that, that’s just being silly. Perhaps if it were better organised we’d get a proper discussion going from time to time, rather than people firing off thoughts in all directions at random, and never properly addressing the issue concerned.
Just one example: in the interests of establishing the facts, which anyone reading my posting history will know is my one and only focus, I queried a post early yesterday by “Jasonsdad”, the one that talked about "likely institutional interest in 23m shares” (ie 16% of the company!) , which had been recommended no less than 8 times for some reason. No one, not a single poster, has come back with a reply (unless it's well-hidden amongst the jumble of messages posted since). So people are blindly recommending posts, it seems, without even understanding them or querying them, and potentially misleading posts are being allowed to stand.
This is not the mark of a serious and useful discussion board. At best it’s a mere echo chamber.
Threeputt, I must admit that is exactly what I thought. But left it unsaid.
Any therapist trying to come to grips with that jumble, is in for a rough ride.
nice pun if intended
There are experts you can go to for OCD you know
Slownsteady, thanks for reminding me its on...Batting in India, just like SAGA, patience needed!
Yes Slownsteady....Please everyone. Do not feed the beast and respond to anything from Ndn71. Just ignore. Its what they want.
FJG. Don't pander to the little attention seeker. As for the rest of us let's not give him the oxygen of a response from now on. His Mum likely ignored him in favour of his siblings, so this is the result. Probably didn't give him enough milk either.
Enjoying the Cricket on Channel 4! I'm thinking of posting scores every ten minutes. On a seperate thread each time. That should really get him going.
Ndn71,
One last comment from me on this topic and again an abject apology to you.
I now see your point entirely - you are quite correct in your objection. I have always used the Message View on this forum, so I couldn't understand your complaint - that's why I glibly suggested that you could just scroll up an inch or so.
But when switching to Thread View, you are quite right - my update posts are littering the thread titles in there. I will endeavour to contain all my future updates within the latest thread created today. (I'm sure from time to time I'll get it wrong - please be patient with an old git.)
To others, apologies to you too for causing this misunderstanding and the flaming that sadly seems to have ensued.
I can't believe that I didn't notice that Thread View option existed - just getting old I guess ... :)
@Ndn71.......thanks to your posting history the majority on this BB are now 100% convinced you are a disruptive jumped up little git........so please appease genuine holders here and do them a big favour and once again FRO. Are you so stupid to realise that people cannot see your posting history......... now why don’t you be good boy / girl and take your medication. You never know but the tablets might stop you writing utter bull****
GLA
Nfn71, thanks for confirming you have Alzheimer's and get confused carrying out simple basic tasks. For the benefit of other people on this BB I also have long term investments with EUA and AVCT, I hardly ever post on these BB’s but have a quick look every day in fact several times a day. Low and behold you yes you Nfn71 are right up there with the most slated / disruptive poster on these BB’s. I also have no doubt you are an annoying disruptive little git on the other BB’s you post on. So do us all a favour and FRO
GLA
ndn71 you are now wasting my time with your negative multiple posts! get a grip and chill.

JoeNinety,
The following is from the Saga website - I hope it helps.
See: Https://travel.saga.co.uk/travel-updates/cruise-coronavirus-vaccine.aspx
Q: Will crew and other staff aboard the ships also have the vaccine?
A: Our focus in the first instance is on our guests and ensuring all of them have been vaccinated, we have comprehensive COVID-19 protocols in place to protect our crew, including quarantine and regular testing and as soon as crew can be vaccinated they will be.
Soon be replicated in the UK, roll on spring. IOM is now open again.

By the way, I agree with your congratulations. All involved have made fantastic progress and it is a great cause for optimism.
Succinct, but a little uninformative. Vaccinated passengers might still be able to transmit. One or two cases amongst the crew, particularly if requiring evacuation, could be disruptive and bad for publicity. The likelihood may be low, but isn't it one of the risks that the management have to balance? Do they have measures in place e.g. crew pre-isolation and testing, passenger testing, to minimise the risk?
No.
Unfortunately, don't the crews have to be vaccinated as well as the passengers. It could be a while before they are done.
Today's UK and global vaccination update for those interested.
A record 609,010 vaccinations were given in the UK yesterday. Huge congratulations to the wonderful NHS and all others involved.
598,389 additional people in the UK were newly vaccinated on Saturday, giving a total of 8,977,329 vaccinated, potential Saga travel customers. These fine people will be ready to roll by May 25th at the absolute latest. This is calculated as the second jab date plus 14 days for those receiving their first jab only on Saturday – so the vast majority will be ready way before this date.
Indeed, 491,053 had already received their second jab by Saturday.
Further updates coming from Bloomberg regarding the biggest vaccination campaign in history.
More than 94.4 million doses in 62 countries have been administered, according to data collected by Bloomberg. The latest rate was roughly 4.47 million doses a day, on average.
It is becoming clear that the end of the economically restricting period of this pandemic is getting nearer with every day of this astonishing global progress.
