All I can say is you got to be strong and have lots of patience in this business. I find a lot of people don't like to sell in profits but quick to sell at a loss... We all do it - panic sell as we think our loss could get bigger which is a possibility. We Live and learn as they say.
Or probably sit it out a bit longer as you wouldn't have so much but yeah you win some, lose some.
It could finish up in the 50s?
Renewi plc (LSE: RWI), a leading international waste-to-product business, announces its interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2018.
Results
- First half trading performance broadly in line with management expectations against a strong result in the prior period
- Good progress with major integration programmes and synergy delivery on track
- Cash performance and net debt better than management's expectations
- Interim dividend maintained at 0.95 pence per share
See RNS today / Several directors buying on the same day, a good sign.
I gave up at 63p. Pile of crap !
Is this Company going bankrupt or something? The way the share price has come down in recent months it looks like the end of the Company is nigh. But I reckon Renewi will be here for a long time to stay. It is just shareholders behaving erratic, greedy for a fast buck elsewhere? Patience here may well pay handsomely in time to come, IMHO.
chart action of consolidating nearly over, would like 80p now. Should hit 100p by year end, then a push to aspiring target of 150p over next 2 years.
Darn it , i forgot. Should have sold first thing this morning. Now 6p down!
Recent price fall from “ even better “ than expecting increased profit results time is really baffling. With increased profits and highly increased revenue this is a screaming buy to me with £1 easily achievable in weeks. “ THEY “ obviously more than us mere mortals. Good luck all renewi holders, and maybe someone can shed light to me. It can’t all be profit taking.

Renewi sees full-year results 'significantly above' previous expectations Mon 23 October 2017 (ShareCast News) - Waste-to-product business Renewi said on Monday that results for the year are expected to be "significantly above" its previous expectations following a particularly strong performance in September. In a trading update for the year to 31 March 2018, the company said the commercial division performed particularly well, with increased waste volumes driven by improving economic growth and construction market recovery. Meanwhile, income from the recyclate division remained strong throughout the period and the monostreams business delivered a positive performance. Renewi said the strong outperformance of the commercial division and monostreams has more than offset the previously reported challenges at ATM in the hazardous waste division and the municipal canadian business. In addition, it said that merger benefits, including cost synergies, margin benefits from internalised waste treatment and purchase price accounting adjustments have been better in the first half than management's original expectations. Reported earnings in the first half have also benefited from the relative weakness of the pound against the euro compared with the company's budgeted rate of 1.20. "Against this positive operating background and in preparation for the forthcoming interim results, the board has reviewed the Group's trading momentum and prospects for the full year and now expects the group to deliver a result for the year ending 31 March 2018 which is significantly above its previous expectations. "The board expects the group's profits to be more strongly weighted towards the first half than usual because of the favourable market conditions in the seasonal construction market together with the outlook for moderating recyclate prices in the second half and reduced soil treatment volumes." Renewi added that at this early stage its expectations for the year ending 31 March 2019 remain unchanged.

Any ideas?
about 20 years ,seen the price as high as 270p and also way down.my average price is 110p so not too far away from that now.I also do work for a Biffa manager and he doesn't really see renewi(SHANKS)as a competitor,so I dont think these companies can be compared.I honestly think that this one is ready to move up steadily.I wont be buying yet but I certainly wont be selling.Nice wee tick up today.
As first poster I'd just like to ask how investors see Renewi vs Biffa
